" i dont find may who i think would be worth my time in a fight. thus i never take my cloak off to gain the movement that i truly have. this armor that i wear is super light and. most blows will just glance off." Shadow tapped his chest. " i didn't feel a thing that you just did to me other than the blows to the face." he then turned grabbed his cloak and started to walk back to the into the city.

Shadow had know the flaws in his action. the blow to his head was something that he had planed for. the inside of his hood was lined with a thin metal that could soften blows to his head. the blow still staggered him and made him fall to the ground but that was fine. when the man talked Shadow slipped his hand into his cloak and then pulled out one of his daggers. as he got up he then brought the dagger up with him to be ready for the next move.

Shadow had heard the sword being drawn. he was calm and colledted when the man grabbed him. " just passing on a message and testing what i'm up against. the message is from Celaena She said to meet her. last i saw her she was at the docks." Shadow then walked forward and drew his own sword. he turned and looked back at the man " i'm not a fool i know that you will win in the end but i still want to see what i can do before i lose."

Shadow nodded and then turned and left the ship. he walked for a little while and then he sighed. he knew what he was doing and since he had time he was going to find the doctor first so that he could buy himself some medical supplies. he walked the streets and found the place he was looking for and then bought his supplies. when he needed them they could be combined quickly to help him heal.

he had asked where he could find Rowan Stormfire. he was told to wait out in the desert in an hour if he wanted to meet up with Rowan. Shadow understood that this would be a set up so he would do more to get ready before he went out there.

around 50 minutes later Shadow walked out into the desert and adjusted his cloak to block any sand getting in his face.

Shadow turned and looked at the girl that had dragged him onto the ship. he had heard what she said and then felt the pain in his shoulder. he cursed his luck. if he had been given a bit more time he might have had time to get some medication to take away some of the pain. he shook his head and then reached into his cloak to feel for the pocket that he kept his personal vials in and found them all. with that in place he walked over to where the girl was and then said " can you show me to our quarters I need some time to get used to the ship?"

Shadow was a bit shocked but the sudden change of pace but he didn't mind. he was in the clear for a little while. he felt his shoulder and sighed the pain was a bit worse than before but not much. he made up his mind on what to do next he would have to make up for how he treated Celaena before some how. he walked over the railing and then looked out at the water. in the past he had trained under Celaena before and he had been a royal jerk. he never listened to her when she was trying to help him. it almost got him killed in the end.
