just don't piss shadow off. he is now on the path to being his true self. but that won't be for a long time still. but a pissed off shadow will still not be fun for anyone.

Shadow walked for a little while and then found himself clear minded. he looked around and sighed. everything was quiet. he just wanted to find someone but now he didn't remember who he had been looking for. he turned and started to walk towards the area that he felt would be safe but then felt his leg give out and fell to the ground. he yelled in pain as he smashed his knee into the ground. the pain shot through him and drove his mind back to the darkness that it would soon call home. his eyes darkened and he stood back up. a look of hatred that had never been on his kind face was all that he wore as he walked back to safety. when he got there he looked at the building and shook his head. if they didn't train him he would train himself and would pass them all. no mater what happened he would become the best there ever would be that was his new goal. if anything got in his way he would stop at nothing to move it out of his way.

Shadow heard the sound of screams. to his broken mind he had no way of knowing that what he was about to do was something that he would one day look back on as the day his whole life was lost to the darkness that he now felt clouding his mind. he turned and started to move towards the sound of the screams. he drew his sword and let his mind focus on finding the reason for the screams and making them stop in one way or another.

Shadow looked up with a blazing fire in his eyes. he rose to his feet and ripped off his armor. he tossed all of it to the sided and then yelled at the top of his lungs. his heart had been ripped in to by the betrayal of his mentor and friend. his mind broken. he looked at his weapons. he picked them up and then walked out the door. if he was ever going to beat Kalin he would have to get stronger. he would have to find Rowan and Celaena. he started moving quickly through the city. he ignored his wounds and focused on finding those that could help train him.

Kalin smiled as he walked out of the city. he had left that stupid kid laying in the street bleeding out. even if the kid lived through that he wouldn't make it out of that city alive. he knew that he was good and clear now that Shadow was dead.

Shadow groaned and then opened his eyes. he saw the sky but also building close to his sides. why was he in an ally. he sat up and growled in pain. he stood up and then walked out of the ally. looking to the sides he saw that someone just put him in the ally next to the street. he slowly made his way into the closest building and sat down against the wall. he let his head fall and looked at the ground. all this time the one he thought had saved him was the one that had doomed him in the first place. the tears the fell from his face were not his choice.

as he got close the where he would be safe Shadow heard movement behind him again and turned in time just to have a blade slash his chest. he staggered back and fell off the roof. he landed hard on his back and was stunned. the face of the one holding the blade frozen in his mind. things made sense now. Kalin was not a mentor he was a traitor. he had his parents killed to take their child and change him into a killer. the pain in his chest soon over took his mind and shadow passed out in the street.

Kalin looked down at Shadow and then turned away. " your a failure just like your parents kid. i'm the only one who should be the best and i will kill anyone who tries to get better than me." he then jumped down and vanished into the crowds.

Through out the universe there are stories of heroes and villains, gods and kings. but when all these stories are brought together in one universe anything can happen.

The Nevermore is a universe filled with all the stories from our universe. the only thing is that the characters in those stories have their own lives in this universe. those that we know are married may not be in this universe. anything is possible and everything seems great right. well for the most part yes. evil slowly is corrupting the whole universe. what will happen if evil takes over?

Shadow struggled his way through the city. he was being followed and he knew it. the moment he had seen the safest place in the city several people had jumped from the rooftops to get behind him. he killed one with a knife and then turned to run. after a while he had lost track of where he was and now he was feeling the effects of blood loss. his head hurt and he was having trouble thinking at all. he stopped and looked around. he climbed up a wall and then stopped for a bit. he was safe for the moment so he started to clean and dress his wound. he looked around as he did this and then when he finished he started to try and make his way back to the safe area.

Shadow watched the man run off. he shook his head and then picked up his sword. he heard the sound of an arrow right before he felt the pain in his lower leg. with a yell of pain he fell to his knees. he quickly turned and ripped the arrow out and then turned in rage to find the person who had shot him. he saw them getting another arrow ready. he stood up and dashed forward leaving a trail of blood behind him. when he got to the person he ran his sword through the person. he then walked back to the city where he would be able to find a place to treat his wound.
