Current If you think flattery will get you something from me, you are most certainly correct.

Bio

Best summed up with the phrase: "Tries really hard."
A pitiable excuse of a person, but I try really hard.

Ryu said Mhmm... y'know, Keia, Pyro brings up a good point. Wounds would take weeks to heal, so we can always send them away and bring out our new characters

I wanted to send Leifr off on some difficult, dangerous noble business like choosing between cute, eligible brides or making sure the Forbannet nobles weren't too lazy, but stopped for both roleplay and metagame reasons. I mean, if I sent him off he wouldn't be getting XP meaning he wouldn't be growing. While Leifr was more of a test character used to fill in a gap of the group's, not getting XP means not getting any closer to the goal of King Leifr I ruling over Gallastre!

ERode said So we can totally just go do a buddy system or something. XD

Leifr claims the right for VIalesa's hand in marriage oath grouping up together. I don't care if that's not the point of the buddy system or that it leaves two non-combatants vulnerable, cursed sword buddies forever.
Renose said We will need to talk about the giant bird thing... For now, gonna say no.

As someone who is thinking of using the Beastial Companion trait for a future character, may I ask why a large avian is not OK for a 4 XP exotic companion?
You can get a creepy, bipedal wolf-like monster for 3 XP. The only benefit a big bird has over that would probably be flight and the possible concept of riding it.

EDIT:
Also, a curse of being destined to never enter Fiore's Harem for this Sylvia character! Not only is Noble Leifr's character inferior to hers, her elite animal handling skills are also superior to my future character's animal handling. She's too pro.
I'm waiting for Ryu, but we basically are in combat so our posts are likely to be quite short for now. Just getting into position and attacking, basically.
The former, of course.

Nothing says healing magic like black sorcery forcing flesh to sew itself together while the victim wounded ally shrieks and writhes in agony watches the cleric lovingly tend to their wounds. Sure, they may have an objective for finding true healing magic that doesn't make people faint and despise them later, but you gotta make do with what you have.

That, and they can tank swords and arrows.
Or, at least, that's the concept... I run into a bit of trouble creating this character so I take frequent breaks from it.
Ryu said How many people actually do have back up characters on this note?

I have a berserker (Let's find the strongest monster to kill!), a super-tank cleric (Less about attacking like Leifr and more about taking attacks), a mage (that wants to discover and utilize summoning), and ranger/hunter/explorer (who wants to find and record all the pokemon monsters of Ithelia) as potential back-up characters should Leifr suffer an unfortunate demise. Most of them are only about half-complete though, and I want more.

I also have a few other concepts but they require either the magic of the world to be a little more advanced or a better understanding of how one discovers unknown magical concepts, or they are late bloomers and I'm not ready to unveil them in such an archaic time~
A sexy demon noble in an actual frilly little dress that is far more interesting than my flat-as-cardboard meat shield noble in a frilly little tunic?

I'm going to go work on another character...
ERode said Anyways, Fiore's rapier needs to sheathed in Leifr's scabbard. :3

ERode said Anyways, does Leifr REALLY trust Fiore to uphold the time of their one-month-away duel? Not just run away like the corpse-looting bandit he is?

The hapless, naive noble that is Leifr would definitely trust a stranger to uphold his word. After all, being honest is a civilized and noble virtue that even a northern barbarian would know of, right?

And if Fiore should run, well the noble Leifr doesn't have a set goal in his travels so he has plenty of time to chase a looter around the world once or twice.

ERode said Honestly though...A trio is a REALLY SMALL GROUP for adventuring in.

The Leifr-Fiore-Lyrisa holy trinity did fine defeating those bandits. Fiore taking a few hits was just for drama; if he wanted, Fiore could've handled it all by himself.
There's always room, but only for those who read the entirety of the first 5 OOC posts and aren't afraid of a cruel GM/DM who enjoys killing characters more than they like to save them~

I half-jest, but please feel free to apply.

Though, if we get a new character, Renose might want to split the party up. I think Fiore + Lyrisa (Captain Creep team) + Alleruen and then Leifr + Vialesa (cursed sword buddies) + new person would be nice, with the ranged DM character supporting the team that has the most trouble.

Fiore? I mean, with who you are I can understand it being Ryu's but I think you meant Fiore :3

That mistake reminded me of something.
