Personality:

- Bold - Caring - Optimistic - Impulsive -

Name:

- Kiana -

Age:

- 27 -

Origin:

- Kiana comes from a small city known simply as Twin River Pass, located between the two major affluents to the Lord's River. The town was originally structured as a circle, with the rivers being its tangents, but eventually the town grew larger and larger, and the expansion lead to a triangular city, with multiple bridges to both sides of the rivers and a huge fishing community. Kiana lived all of her life in that city, sometimes dreaming of travelling far and wide, and sometimes enjoying the place like there was nothing else. The first, though, only grew with the years, and after serving as a River Hand (the City Watch of Twin River Pass), she decided to follow the call for adventure, and eventually, at age 22, bid farewell to her parents. She constantly writes letters to them whenever she can find a time and a place. -

Life:

- When she left home to the adventure and the lands from faraway tales, she made her mind to live on her own. At the young age of 15, she had helped countles times to prepare dinners and foods; by 19, she could fully skin almost any animal, through and through, and was always on the lookout in the forest for some tasty animal. Her father had teached her how to use the bow and arrow, and had taught her the ins and outs of hunting. During her time as a River Hand, she became more and more proficient in cooking and in hunting, and all of those things come into play now that she's on the road. She typically hunts her own food, but can also strike up a deal with some inn or locals, teaching them recipes or providing them with fresh meat in exchange for a roof over her head. Most of the time she waits for morning to move out of the city once more, saying propper goodbyes to everyone she has come to talk, and asking for directions to cities or landmarks, to start the adventure once again. -

Talents:

- Hunting -

- Acrobatics -

- Survival expert -

- Nature knowledge. -

Flaws:

- Homesick -

- Doubtful -

Combat:

- Her time as a City Watch teached her everything she needs to know to get by, she has a masterful aim with the bow, and knows enough swordplay to defend herself, but is always on the lookout for opportunities to run and shoot. Though able to manage and intimidate people, she's never killed a man, and she thinks it's something too dire to do. -
@Genkai yes, yes, impulsive will fit perfectly! 'll go edit it right away. As for optimistic, I'd rather keep it like optimistic, you could even see it as the opposite of realistic in a way, like she always hopes for the best, even if things seem to go awry.
@Oak7ree better indeed, the Souls of both of you are leaking all over the world
@Oak7ree oh, that makes sense, then landmass could b a little more spread out than here on Earth. I was thinking of something like 3 to 4 propper continents, with two being close and the other two being a little more far apart.
@Oak7ree Man, I hadn't seen the Morvran story. The setting is slowly becoming a little more twisted in nature, right? With the mutated king and a figurative zombie populating the world, it's becoming more like the world and its magic are two clearly dangerous entities, that misused could lead to all the horrors the world hasn't seen.
@ClocktowerEchos even if they are constantly struggling between them, I think they should be more slow to do stuff than humans and other races, as to give them that feel of "so old that it takes 30 years before moving" kind of approach
Okay, I really didn't expect someone to answer within the first 30 minutes, so the topic is already taken. With that said, I wouldn't mind to 1x1 with anyone, so please drop me a PM if you'd like.
Oh, wait, my answe was never sent!

@Genkai thanks a lot for the praise, man, I had the idea of integrating the borrowed town of Twin Rivers from a gae I've played (Kingdom Rush, superb tower defense), and my town that is literally built between two rivers. The idea for the story came all natural, right in the moment.

Regarding the traits, I've put Caring as in "she really cares about people around her and the impact she has on their lives" and thoughtless as "acts quickly based on what she thinks in the moment, without taking a moment to fully analize the situation" but I'll look for more accurate wording, if you say so.

Also, I had already made this answer, but the site thought "let's not keep this answer" and it's suddenly not around anymore.
@JaceBeleren they could even have a sort of cooldown, like the stamina works in Dark Souls, for people not to be blocking ad nauseam, to go around that problem and letting people have whatever they want. It could even go in tiers for shields of different shapes or sizes.
@Oak7ree That seems pretty good, but it's a little more than Earth's proportions, I think? If so we could have a couple of continents and a lot of islands, maybe going as far as to have a massive ocean between the continents and islands forming some sort of bridge between them, something like the WoW map, but with more bridges, and less giant maelstroms.

@ClocktowerEchos man, I love that piece that you have there, it's really good! I like the sort of powers that you give the dragons (I'm guessing that they should vary between species, or be unique to every dragon?) and I like that feeling of unease that you get when you realize that an entire capital city is populated by a lone, deformed being, constantly screeching and howling. I haven't played Dark Souls (I tried the first Dark Souls, but found myself unable to Git Good), but I think I get that ominous feeling that you're going for. That's what you were going for?
