That feeling when you can't spend ten minutes without someone interacting with you... I love it #TotallyPopular

Adding the ranges as factor would sure help, you could even have it, again, in tiers of how easy/hard it is to hit with your weapon or against the other's defense
@Jones Sparrow totally excited for the IC, I'll be keeping an eye out!

Also, everyone would start their separate ways, right? Coming into contact when they try to get to the bounty?
@Snagglepuss89 I would err on the side of caution and think that it's medieval tech from where they are from, so ships and stuff should be wooden and stuff. But the keyword here is think, because I'm no GM.
@ClocktowerEchos sounds good too, I like this one. You can do all sorts of evil shit with teleportation.
@ClocktowerEchos simple misunderstanding on my part, I belive.

@JaceBeleren I don't know if they would dominate common trade, but they would be the best option for large distances and super secure deliveries.
I'm wheighging in late on this, I know, but that's because the conversation was on swords and Witcher lore, and I know little of both.

I think one of the ideas that makes more sense to me is the first. Like he is gathering his kin, but he also doesn't want them to be just taken by foorce, so he makes the fake contract to attract people and then convinces them of taking part on the hunt for the sake of the puny humans. Also, he can bluff his way out of the king sayin something like "Yes, this are totally the last there are, you should belive me, I'm a Witcher."
The idea on teleportation seems settled. It would make sense that not a lot of people have it.

Mages and willpower always seems cliche to me, but it also makes sense, since the power comes from within one's self.
@silentmusician I feel like it's more free, like @Raddum said over here. I don't know the takes of everyone else about 1x1, but I find it better to help make a world as much as your own as the other person's.

Also, isn't this thread for bitching? I thought it was for bitching.
I'd say, if we have teletransporting stuff, it should be highly regulated, and expensive or cheap AF, as people would have to invest magic (that is hard to come by) to do the travel, or cheap because someone came up with an idea of making easy to make a point-to-point connection.
@Juicy good luck! I always make my characters on the fly, and if you're like me, you'll do marvelous and lackluster works. Sometimes inspiration is right there and some others is miles away.
