Sweet. I was thinking something like a Phoenix..But I'll be in class all day so I probably won't get something up until later.
Eyyyy, I'm interested.
I'm interested!
Cori Woods

After nearly mowing down a dozen members of the paparazzi, Cori put her car in park and flicked down the mirror to reassure herself that, yes, she looked perfect for the first day of school. She removed her sun glasses and stared at her reflection, unsmiling. ...Well, no one's perfect. She replaced the glasses and stepped out into the student parking lot and was immediately greeted by a scurry of reporters and-- and a body guard? Reporters she could handle, but as she gazed about the campus grounds, she realized that most students probably couldn't.

Discourse of corruption at Caelbury flooded her ears. None of this sounded familiar, and she made a mental note to check her phone once she was in the safety of the school. "Well, what do you expect when you let just anyone in?" she offered a woman who was particularly insistent on getting anything out of the student--and then the shouting grew. Cori was happy to use the media to her advantage, and she was confident her small question would plant just the kind of seed in pushing the lucky commoners out of Caelbury. Out of her learning space (not that her opinion was anything new to the tabloids).

Her bodyguard was frustrated that she had humored the crowd, but he did his job: she was escorted safely to the school without saying another word. Her arrival was announced by the loud click of her heels on the auditorium floor, rose gold plated phone already being slipped away as she entered. "Hello, lovely," she greeted coolly as she sat next to Julia, lifting her sunglasses onto her head. "I can't wait for them to explain this mess."
Lillah

"Hey! Wait!" Lillah called after the superhero, but he was already gone. Silence filled the air, and then she heard a muffled BOOM behind the buildings blocking her sight. She wasn't frantic, Lillah didn't get "frantic." But she was a little miffed that she was suddenly left alone. The young woman only sighed and looked back and forth, waiting and listening. When she was satisfied that she was truly alone again, she started the long, normie trek toward the highway exit, where the chaos seemed to be coming from.

Vivian

Welding mask actually had it under control. She was impressed, and she had just turned her attention back on the new wave of shamblers as they started pouring out of the window. "Okay, fuckers, I can't do this forever," she threatened, adjusting her hold on her ASHINGT sign. Suddenly--

KABOOM!

She gasped and felt her legs rise up from under her and then she was on her back. Dust flew up, but she squinted through it to confirm that, yes, the zombies had also fallen on their asses. She was safe. Coughing and flustered, she stood on her scrawny legs, feeling angry heat rise to her face and cheeks. "What the bloody hell?!" she exclaimed, her eyes finding the cause of the chaos: another weirdo in the leather mask and he had just punted a zombie into the sky. Oh bloody hell, she repeated to herself, her rage being replaced with quiet caution. Heroes. Heroes everywhere. Maybe this wasn't the safest place for her to be.

"I'm not a criminal," she answered--maybe a little too quickly--but she knew that when Welding Mask answered, attention wouldn't be on her. "Did you see the fireworks, too? That's where we're heading."
I'll get a post up tonight and I'm still thinking on a secret
Damn! Good to know. We don't mind waiting if we know you'll be back but we weren't sure. So this is good to know
"Coulda fooled me," Vivian said, watching as he turned on the scabs. She had only one run-in with a scab and she had been the one who fled. She was not equipped with the strength or supplies to deal with skin like that. So, as the young woman left him to deal with the scabs, she turned on the shamblers so she could buy him some time. Hell, maybe him and the scabs would take each other out and she could loot the body after--but that would only happen if she focused on the task at hand.

It would be an easy one for and even easier if she could use her powers. However, so close to a potential safe zone, she didn't want to risk giving herself away. So as a shambler grabbed at her with a fleshy arm, she only stepped back, then forward to slice through its neck. Then she moved onto the next one, not allowing herself to stand still or else the shamblers--although slow and utterly stupid--could eventually gang up on her. She exercised an eerie cool control over the area, a zombie not stepping an inch out of her perception or expectation. And with each head to drop, she picked up the speed, a grin slowly manifesting on her face as she twirled and twisted her weapon. Step, slash, slash, turn, step, slash, step, turn, slash--

The dance quickly ended and she flicked the blood off her blade, a new light in her eyes--then a flicker of realization. Oh right, she thought, checking on the Maker. He had finally beat through the scab's skull but just in time for the other one to grow a little too close. "Look out!" Vivian warned. Even with his life in danger, she didn't dare teleport. Instead, she closed the distance with her short legs. And half way there, she realized she wouldn't make it on foot. Oh well, she thought.
!! You made it! Luckily for you, Tux has been MIA today, ahahaha
@Amelian Draco We were waiting on Mr Rage, but it seems like he's not around (even after PMing him). So we're thinking we'll just have to kill off his character to keep the RP going. I assume Tux will post sometime today to get us going again

Edit: The Skype is still going if you ever wanna peek in and get a quicker answer.
