Ruby's eyes. Damn.
@Smystar99 I'm going back and forth on this but would you be okay with Sloane having a major crush on Sky (unrequited obvi since Sky is hetero)?
I know it's been quiet but I'm sure Tuxedo will come back soon. I hope we don't lose interest.
Sloane Shields

Location: Entering Grimbold's cabin
Interacting with anyone already there & Terry

The tattoo artist had been out of town for the last week, and even worried she wouldn't be back on time for Grimbold's dinner. So, after returning to her own apartment, unpacking, feeding the cat, and freshening up, she rushed over. Bundled up against the cold February air, she finally arrived and knocked at the cabin door. Ever paranoid, Grimbold peered at her before opening the door with a welcoming smile--one that she returned. "Thank you, I got it," she assured as she walked in, taking care of her coat and scarf and hat and gloves... Sloane liked the silence of the cold winter air, but she was admittedly a freezebaby.

Warmth comforted her as she stepped further into the cabin. The fire crackled and she inhaled the aroma of a good homecooked meal. A rare, genuine smile came to the woman's face as she unwound the knitted scarf from her neck. Even the creepy skulls and the air of mystery was enjoyable to Sloane, though everyone here was a little weird in their own way. She certainly wasn't the only one. Her grin faded and she looked bored again as she shoved her gloves in her coat pocket.

After putting her outter layers away, the click of her heels announced her arrival as she stepped into the dining area, green eyes taking the lot in as they got comfortable. Despite being late, Sloane wasn't one to apologize. "Hello, lovelies," she greeted as she stalked over to the seat across from Terry and Robert. She offered a friendly nod to Terry before she stretched her colorful arm across the table to fill a bowl with soup. She seemed to ignore Eddie as she sat back, shoulders straight, legs crossed, arms crossed, and her hungry eyes on the soup in front of her.
@Altered Tundra "To be called an anime, a show needs to be made in Japan..."

Exactly. It's dependent on your premise of what constitutes an anime. Language is mutable, it doesn't always mean the same thing to everyone and sicne it's a social construct anyway, this is the only way it has meaning. So some people define it as a style, others as an origin. So I agree with you, too.

But on that note, I have some questions:

1) a RWBY dub is being made in Japan, so does this make it an anime with this definition, in your opinion? Or do you think the cartoon has to originate in Japan?

2) may he RIP, but--among other Asian descent--Monty Oum was Japanese and the creator of RWBY. Does this affect its status as anime?
It definitely draws a lot of influence from anime, has a Japanese dub, and now an official Manga. Idk, seems pretty anime. Of course, it's all dependent on the premise of what a person things is anime.
Idk if this is full, but I'm interested.
Interested!
Super interested. I assume players will be people from N. America as part of the invading/exploratory force and/or citizens/resistance in Japan?
@Ace of Hearts Oh that I totally agree with. Mechanics (such as basic game play and the journal system) are best kept simple so the player can focus on the game and not HOW it's being played. If that makes sense. The ES games have only improved in gameplay. And I appreciate and value the simplicity in attributes and leveling up (I have always been super bad at stats, even as a table top gamer and I think a lot of people are).

But--especially with RPGs--the freedom the player has to make choices and deal with the consequences are important to me. The storyline of Skyrim is very black and white, you pick one side or the other, and you run with it getting similar outcomes anyway. That's watered down and too simplistic to me. There are things you just can't do as a player even if it seems like a blatant option. And it creates this...disconnect.
