@PolybiusThe world is very loose currently waiting for others input. However to give you a good idea I'll go ahead and tell you about the main city and the starting point(s) of many of the escapades and adventures most of my Characters reside.
The main city is the city of Apoche sitting on the southern most tip of the Fudime continent just below the Withering Mountain range of the black sand desert. Apoche being a timeless city of trade second only to The Efros Islands which sat to the north west of it within the Vast sea.
Apoche steeped in trade and political intrigue although a large sprawling port city it's deep underbelly and black market expands much further and reaches to the far reaches of distant continents and lands. Dealing in the trade of Whisper aptly named after the Whisper vine which grows at the base of the Withering Mountains, having narcotic and healing properties.The underbelly of Apoche was a haven for criminals. Not as strict or xenophobic as the rest of the nations in this world any person from Half-orc to Tiefling can find acceptance in Apoche. (There are a number of different races custom races are cool too) Many of the prominent houses and guilds being headed by those whom otherwise would not be allowed entry into civilization let alone finding a place of importance.
The world as a whole is dangerous Travel from place to place is not exactly easy everything from horrid weather, beastly encounters and magical anomalies are to be contested with. Threat of war is always boiling beneath the surface as there is always a constant vie for power between the great nations. Apoche being a mild exception being a free city and holding no loyalties save that to trade and wealth itself. The greater nations of the world Efros, Hoviel, Kestwa', Ost, and Asren having been in long standing uneasy truce all worked behind the scenes looking to amass power through varied means.
Efros, an dwarven Naval nation known for it's slavetrade and Deepstone.
Hoviel, a human kingdom not much is known about save their hatred for nearly all other races.
Kestwa' an elven nation that is open and does not look down upon other races their natural bonds to the magics around them in the elements having shaped their society. Their vast libraries and schools second only to Asren
Ost, considered a wild savage nation. However, they believe in a strict hierarchy and although rough around the edges have a clear respect for authority and strength. Consisting mostly of Giants, humans, orcs, and half breeds this nation although small seems to never find itself at war.
Asren, much like the free city of Apoche seems to be the least xenophobic of all nations. Tiefling, goblins, minotaurs and more all walk freely and openly in the streets. However they are best known for their large Academies and massive Libraries. But most people usually notice the Masonry First!
So very loose ideas that you can add to without much of an issue.
