If no one else wants to, Kairi can do it if you would like :) And no its far from dead, I've just been trying to give everyone a fair shot to get in a post.. I'd love it if everyone can stay as active as possible as GMing an Inuyasha rp can be challenging without active posts to keep the story moving and building up
Kairi nodded and turned in a slow circle. There seemed to be a pathway worn into the grass not far from where they were standing. Might as well follow the closest thing to a road that they had, she thought. "Well I couldn't agree with you more. As it is, whatever that thing was looked a lot like a snake..person...thing.. So the forest like area that we just happened to be trapped in does seem like a great spot to wait in and hide. Might as well follow that.." She pointed to the pathway as she started walking towards it.

The path topped a hill and lead down a winding dirt road, in the distance it looked like a group of farm plots, on the other side a village of some kind. Kairi smiled. "Hey look, a town! Maybe we're not that lost after all." Feeling better than she had before, she started down the road walking at a fair click. Her eyes moved to the sky, it was about 4 o'clock or so, and she didn't fancy being stuck out in the forest at night.

Down in the village of the bone eater's well, people were running from small building to building. From the far end of the area something exploded. Laughter could be heard as something slid from place to place, destroying properties as it went. Someone in the village screamed, a woman cried out "DEMON!! Panic took over and people scattered to all directions as a massive snake demon crept out from a shadowed over hang of the local eatery.

Her scales were a stunning emerald green. From the torso that stretched up to form a woman, pale white skin stretched taunt. The creature was beautiful. She had ebony hair piled up on her head dressed in gold hairpeices. She wore a tunic that matched her scales and dangling earrings that had some form of ancient writing on them.

"Oh come now.. Where isss your hosspitalty?" She asked, golden eyes moving to watch the townsfolk scatter. "Thisss is no way to treat your guessst!" With a swipe of her tail, the pillars in the front of a merchant store were snapped and crumpled the front end of the building to the ground in a cloud of smoke. Off behind her, a couple buildings had caught fire from the lanterns being knocked down inside. "Now, now... No challengersss for me to devour?"
Myztii looked to Todd with a blank expression listening to him describe the war scenes that he had been. The battles, gore, and destruction that laid in wake of what was happening all over the world. She shook her head, what a waste of human life.. to fight so pointlessly. She laid back, using her empty bag as a pillow and watched him smoke. "Luckily for me, wildlife may be my specialty, but there is a war waging in the animal kingdom, too. For example, the shots I got of the great whites.. They are of the sharks attacking and tearing into one another due to territory issues. It's pretty crazy stuff. I'm just thankful I was in a cage, or I would have been a total gonner.."

She paused sitting up on her arms as continued to talk. "A weapon, no not really.. but I did take some martial arts courses, so I'm good with hand to hand.. and I'm fair with daggers and blades, if needed.." She sat up at the mention of Grevin and did her best to keep her features blank, though worry crept in. Her eyes darkened a bit as moisture glistened over her eyes but refused to fall. "Todd, do you think whatever is happening here is local? I mean LAX is a pretty big place to go into such chaos.. What if its a terrorist thing or something? What if by the time you can get me back to Grevin, that Jacksonville will even be the same? We're all the way across the country and without the planes, getting home isn't gonna be easy you know.."
I am! As it is 12:30pm here
"I'm sure you could hold your own prin.... mizuki. But despite what you think this city is far more dangerous than the North kingdom. I couldn't leave you if I wanted to. If you were hurt I would feel responsible.... I don't want to see that." He had whispered to her in the shadows. She rolled her eyes unable to resist this time.

"Look.. I get it, not a lot of people are strong enough to run solo.. but I happen to know what I'm doing, and you aren't respon-" She blinked as he stepped from the shadow, "Nyima?" Mizuki looked to the group of people closer. Who was he talking about? Did he know one of them? She looked to him quietly, waiting to see what would happen. "Nyima? Is that you?!" She was slightly suprised that he simply started walking way.

Mizuki quickly followed him, staying close as she looked from the people, and the girl he seemed to be addressing, to Zhou. "Hey, wait up.. Do you know these guys? Who is Nyima? Who is that that's with her?" She then glanced to Rayn and the others as they walked.
She shook her head, declining politely. She looked up from her equipment as she picked up the digital camera. "Oh no, I'm not a local at all.. And I wouldn't quite call myself a traveler. I'm here on a trip to Del Rey Lagoon Park, it just so happens that I specialize in photography. I snagged some out of this world shots of great whites in the area!" Her eyes lit up a bit as she smiled, glancing down to the camera screen. "Photography is my entire life.. You see, I'm a student in Jacksonville specializing wildlife photography and these shots could be my ticket to a very nice life ahead of me."

She frowned a bit putting the camera back on the floor and leaned back on her hands with a sigh. "I was supposed to be on my way home by now, but whatever is going on out there has all the flights cancelled. Go figure." She paused, jumping slightly as another stranger tried to open the bathroom door, beating on it a bit before moving on. She relaxed a bit looking to the door though her frown deepened. "I just want to get home to my brother.. What on Earth is going on out there.."
It's not like I'm too happy escorting a..." He glances back at her. "Princess." Mizuki paused, glaring at Zhou for a moment. She locked her jaw as she gave herself time to reconstruct her composure. She smoothed out her clothing as she walked over closer to him. "I've told you before, Zhou.. Don't go there."

"I don't have time to just wait around anymore. I would rather be on my own... I work better that way." She offered him a lovely smile, belying her temper. "If you're so sure, why don't you strike out on your own? I'm a big girl. I can handle myself just fine. After all I know how to handle all the big bad bullies."

For a moment she ignored him, leaning around to see what he was looking at. Seeing the group of people she raised a brow. "Strange.... Mizuki nodded lightly. "Look.. " She pointed down the street a bit then held the paper back up. "This is the same block as the address that I'm being sent to. Are those..." her eyes widened slightly. "White Lotus? We need to find out what's going on here." She grabbed his hand and pulled him along with her to a closer spot near the group, hiding them in a patch of shadow near a building side.
Myztii raised a brow crossing her arms as she moved a bit closer and sat near him, resisting the urge to ask about the camera he set out. "...Todd huh? Just because that's what everyone calls you doesn't mean that it is your name.."

She pulled her bag around her to sit it in front of her legs on the floor. She opened it up and pulled her own equipment out. She put her Canon EOS 5D Mark III on the floor carefully and then pulled her Canon Vixia HF R40 camcorder on the floor next to it. Though the bag she used wasn't a typical camera bag. She kept a backpack type bag with her at all times thanks to the unusual places she tends to find herself in while taking her photos.

From the bag she pulled out a small first aid kit, a few bottles of water, some flavor packets for the water because really- who wants to drink plain water all the time? She also pulled a few yogurt bars and snack bags of chips from the bag, extra batteries and SD cards for her cameras, a box that held a flashlight, batteries, and a compass. Myztii also pulled out a small wooden box that had a lock on it.

"As for what people call me, my name is Myztii.. So since we're obviously stuck here for a while, why don't you tell me what you're doing here at LAX?"
Mizuki's unusual crimson colored eyes moved around the city. She had been sent to this specific area for unknown reasons to her. Zhou, the man she was with currently would have known this. She'd met him some time ago in the North. A chilled air whipped around them, though she didn't feel it. Having been raised in artic tempatures tended to harden someone to the weather.

"Well we made it finally. What was your reason for traveling here to this place again? He had asked her.

"Zhou, I told you. Ko'noki wouldn't tell me. She only said that it was of the up most importance to be here on this day," She paused holding out a sheet of paper to him. "And to be at this exact address at the exact time on the list.." Taking a moment she shifted a bit. She brushed her bangs back to the sides of her face and took a deep breath before sighing.

"You would think after so many years in Temple that 'Noki wouldn't be so cryptic with her instructions.. And this is the first time she's told me where I had to travel to.. It's unusual." She cut her eyes to him, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. "And she didn't have to send a bodyguard..."
