My sister saw me watching the Co-Optional Podcast and thought I was skyping my friends. How ridiculous! I don't have friends.

@KingfisherThat's crazy talk. He's obviously a panderan brewmaster

*Sigh* Oh gee, I've made myself look like a right dickhead.
Storm, Earth and Fire heed my call! Anyways... Random person jumping in! Hope you don't mind me but I hope I can join ^.^ You may or may not know what my favorite kind of character is

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say you like shaman. Really going out on a limb here.

@McHaggis Very nice! Vynael is accepted. Feel free to move him into the CS tab.

@Viciousmarrow Being a user of fel magic would obviously be something that your character would have to keep very well hidden. I'm sure you're already aware of that, but please bare it in mind when making your CS.
“What are you doing, my son?!”

Succeeding you...father.

Madness has seized the Capital City. Those who welcomed the return of Prince Arthas with open arms have been met with cold steel. As the Cult of the Damned sweeps out across the countryside, settlers scamper frantically to find what little safety they can in these twisted new plaguelands.

Brittlepond is a small, unassuming village which sits not far from the ruins of the Capital City; nestled in the shadow of Silverpine Forest. But whilst the residents have spent their years in blissful ignorance to the town’s greater purpose, this small settlement holds a dark secret.

During the Troll Wars, Brittlepond was the sight of a horrific battle between the Amani and the Human/Elf Alliance. In the midst of the bloodshed, the troll Witch Doctor Zul’Kaz rained warped magics down upon the defenders, using a hellish artifact which would come to be known as the “Eye of the Chaos”. Although the alliance forces emerged victorious, it was decided that the Eye of Chaos posed too great a threat to the free peoples to be ignored, so it was locked away beneath Brittlepond, to be watched over by an order of secret guardians, who were dubbed “The Stalwart”. As the years flickered by, mothers and fathers handed their duty of protection down to their descendants, making sure they were prepared for the day when the Kingdom would once again need to take up arms against invaders.

As anarchy blazes throughout Lordaeron, the Scourgelord Naten (a former member of the Stalwart) has set his eyes upon Brittlepond, and seeks to claim the Eye of Chaos for the Cult of the Damned. After years of waiting, the Stalwart must rise up against these invaders, and sacrifice everything to stop the Scourge from harnessing the artifact’s eldritch power.

The journey ahead of our heroes will surely be the stuff of legends, as they travel from town to town, forced to stay one step ahead of Lord Naten, whilst the land which they call home burns and crumbles around them.

The fall of Lordaeron is a self-contained story revolving around a (mostly) original cast of heroes; set in the Warcraft universe, just after Arthas’ betrayal. Players will assume control of characters of their own creation, and take part in an epic quest across the ruined kingdom.

Not every member of our group needs to be a member of the Stalwart, but we will all be united by in our quest to keep the Eye of Chaos out of the hands of the scourge. You don’t need a flawless knowledge of warcraft lore to join, but a decent understanding will definitely help. Anything you’re unsure of can be double-checked on WoW Wiki or Wowpedia.

The character races available to you reflected the state of the Alliance at the time which the game is set, so Gnomes, Worgen,Draenei, Night Elves, etc. aren’t playable. I’d like a nice diverse cast of characters if possible, so we don’t all need to be mighty warriors or all-powerful mages.

The IC will go live on the 6th of May at the latest, so please try and get your character sheets in by then, before if possible so that we can start ASAP.

If you still got any room I'd love to join.

Ditto.

I'd say that's enough interest to justify me cracking on with the OOC!

Time for me to get to work.
Alright. This is my tentative interest barring no world ending complications. I knew it was a bad idea to listen to Warcraft music and page through interest checks

Tentatively noted *nods*
I'm thinking about joining this as well :)

Great! I'll just wait for one or two more people to drift in, then a man shall begin work on the OOC.
I will put this undead hand here to say I am interested.

Awesome sauce!
Oh man this is nostalgia x100.
DEFINITELY INTERESTED.
Warcraft 3 was my life through middle school and high school.

Interested

Glad to have y'all! Shall just wait for a couple more.
