Ayaerid Empire

While the emperor is overseeing the ships going to the ghettoes, a young man enters his room. He is clearly a technician.

"Have you lost your standards to your highness? You can't just simply enter my room without giving the proper respects!"

"I'm really sorry, my Yaherid. It's just that this is of extreme importance".

"Well, if it is so important that you won't enter my room without proper standards, then I shall listen. However, if you are trying to play a joke or anything like that, I will have you lashed"

"Alright then. We have received messages that don't read like any of the tipical messages. W-we might think they are aliens, sir."

The Yaherid thought he was disrespecting him. He grabbed him by his uniform and said in a very furious tone:

"You and your mates are clearly trying to play a joke on me. We have looked the skies millenia after millenia and there were no things like aliens. That, or it's the filthy secularists who are trying a new technology. Guards! Take this man away and lash him!".

The guards took him and before they left the sight of the Yaherid, another man entered. This one was a parlamentarian and was also a friend of the Yaherid. He went to him, bowed on his feet and praised his glorious overseeing of the Ayaerid Empire. This was the reverance that had to be made to the Yaherid. He then said:

"My Yaherid, I know this man has been disrespectful. But you have to believe us, we really have seen strange code! And it's too sophisticated to have been made by the demonic secularists. The proof is on the observatory."

"Well, if you insist. Guards, let the man alone!" The guards, despite already being out of sight, heard the scream and dropped the technician. The Yaherid, the parlamentarian and the technician rushed to the observatory.

After arriving and after receiving the gest of respect, the Yaherid asked the operator of the observatory:

"Have you really found strange code?"

"Yes sir"

"Have you tried to translate the message?"

"We have mananged to translate most of the message despite our lack of technology to do so. It seems that the methods used by this device is similar to our technologies, although they don't sound like any of the other nations but as if they were something outside of the known."

The Yaherid heard the message. The gentlemen did not speak like if they knew about the Yaherid and more as an unknown peoples. This couldn't have been sent from the other Yirav nations.

"We can try to respond. I think it will mostly be comprehensable."

The Yaherid sent the following response:

"My blessings go to you, fellow foreigners. I am the Yaherid, ambassador of the god Talkan and ruler of the Ayaerid Empire. We too want our nations to coexist in peace and harmony. Though this message may be short, the gods hope that our civilizations are long-lasting"

Ayaerid Empire

Though nothing is obvious yet, the Yaherid notices that there is some weird going on in the territories ruled by Yhogytj. He has expelled a lot of clergy from his local parlamentand even legalized other religious groups so long as they live in ghettos. The Yaherid dismisses much of this information, thinking he is finally asserting his power by finally expelling those who disliked him, though he considers the ghettos weird. Despite this, and at the request of Yhogytj, he will bring all the known religious groups into his ghetto.

Republic of Ardal

The Ardali plasma weapons are still firing shots upon the remaining enemy troops on Ejofron. One of the earliest cities in Yiravi history has fallen to the Republic of Ardal. The general has went down from his ship to recite an ancient prayer, which has surprisingly survived despite all the millenia and the events, in front of the ruins of the ancient Nuque Empire.

I'm not ragequitting, bitching or anything but it's quite fun when you are new, about to suffer a civil war and are about to be deceived to domination (I suppose that's what the whole FACE, DECEIVE, DOMINATE thing is about).

Ayaerid Empire

On the secret headquarters of the People's Ayaerid Republic, a movement that demands secularization and the immediate establishment of a socialist republic on the Ayaerid Empire

"Halt right there! You... you are Yhogytj Opdonp?" a guard asked to the imperial governor of the Ebryrian system.

"Yes, my fellow gentlemen." He did the tounge and eyes movements which prove he knows there's a secularist movement on the building which looks like a hill. As soon as he said this, four guards surrounded him, they analized his whole body with their hand scanners and after proving he had nothing that could mean that he was possibily spying on them, they pulled their plasma rifles on his neck.

"Are you sure that he has nothing around him that could mean he's spying on me?" A voice yelled from the inside.

"Yes, my sir. He has nothing that could put on risk the whole operation" A guard replied.

They took him inside and they cuffed his hands and feet to make sure he won't try to run away.

"An imperial governor trying to join this movement, specially someone that until now has proven to be very zealous of the Yerahid? That's the first time this movement has seen anything like this". Gotlon Yonrlo, leader of the movement told him. Golton seemed both exited and concerned. Why would a governor join a rebellion to overthrow the Yerahid? He was interviewed for two hours. After this time, he was allowed to come back to his seat as a governor under the threat that, if he tried to get rid of his guards in any way, be directly or indirectly, he will be shot.

The governor promised full support should a secularist rebellion outbreak and gave the movement full plans of every single spaceship currently in use, which was possible thanks to his many contacts in the army and the government. When he is informed the rebellion is to unleash in a short time, he will move all the spaceships possible and let them be piloted by rebels.

Republic of Ardal

"My general! I heard something intresting has happened!" Official Aktoz Eaukkohh asked to General Iddkeki Lkjkiare, who seems very exited.

"Well, you see my fellow Aktoz, remember we have been at war with the People's Republic of Okstana for some time?" Iddkeki replied

"Yes, my sir"

"Well, today we finally mananged to land (soon to explain land military forces in my nations) into the homeland of the mythical Empire of the Yirav. The enemy forces are strong, but we have brought thousands of men and our ships are blockading the enemy's supply lines."

Aktoz was jumping of happiness. He couldn't believe what he has been listening, the enemies which for so many years threatened to destroy the republic are about to lose a planet of historical importance.

After more than a year of being content with the Star Empires existing but not so much else, I finally got intrested in this.

I'm going to edit this post, with the new apps for my nations and other stuff, so make sure to check on it from time to time.

Ayaerids and other stuff you should know about the race

Name of nation: Ayaerid
Species:Yirav:
These species are specially adapted to thrive on water, although they can survive on the land (if it's not, say, 2 km above the ground).

They have two eyes on their heads, but they don't see very well outside of the water but they do have a good sense of smell in the land due to their large noses. They have small horns across their chests and backs, which allows them to listen to stuff.

Their skin is elastic and strong. When they are born, their colours are dark gold, dark orange or dark brown. However, as they grow up, they grow lighter and after they have meno/andropause they also start desaturating. Those who mananged to live the longest either had little traces of their former colour or they simply were very light grey.

The males are usually bulkier than their female counter part and their colors are more varied.The females, however, are usually bigger and they have darker colours.
The average lifespan of a male is about 45 years and females 47. Their sexual hormones start acting after they are 10 years old and by the time they are 16 they are fully able to breed without any major risks due to the mothers short age. By the time they are 30, they start having their meno/andropause.

Description of government: Theocratic.
The major religion of this nation is Yerahaedism and is the official religion of the empire (explained on the other section). Basically the nation is ruled by the Yerahid of the Talkani branch of Yerahaedism. The Yerahid, according to the Talkanis, is literally handpicked by the gods and given demigod abilities. Therefore, any opposition to him is considered blasphemous and can result in prison until the "blasphemer" retracts his former statements. "Blasphemers" are often put into an orwellian regime, in where they can't martyrise themselves and they have to stay there until they are finally convinced. After that, they are put back into society. The second violation means death penality.

There is a parlament which supposedly rules along with the Yerahid, but the Yerahid may always expel someone without proper reasons, as supposedly his word is above every single mortal. The Yerahid also has 20 votes on the parlament, thus it's a very corrupt place.

Description of military: Due to the ever-rising threat of secularism and other forms of liberalism, they need to have a strong military. Their fleet rallies about 300 ships (I don't know how many do the other people have but if it's definetily too OP, tone it down to 100 or 50) but after a secularist rebellion, they are planning to expand the fleet. Their fleet is mostly trained for revolt suppresion, anti-guerrilla tactics and it's mostly focused on defense. Automated turrets on the orbit are quite common but there is also a large population of turrets in the asteroids and moons.

History: The Yirav developed in the galaxy in peace for tens of thousands of years until the interdimensional crisis kicked in. Their small nations were destroyed, their species went extinct on almost all the planets they colonized and the few which survived were kicked back into the neolithic. Due to the fact that most of the survivors were in planets where there was little process in terraformation, it took them a lot longer to develop, some even dying out. Eventually though, they mananged to adapt and around the same time their technological developement pace was changing too. By the time they got back in space, though, they already broke into different species, each taking caracteristics of their new homes (some have longer lifespans, increased land tolerance, etc.). The planet of the Ayaerids, known as Choyowei, was the average planet for any of the broken species. It wasn't the most hospitable planet they could have, but it was survivable.

Fast foward to the foundation of the Ayaerid nation. The Ayaerid Empire was created by the union of extremist Yerahaedists (circa what we could call the 17-18th centuries) as a response to the ever-popularizing secularization in their lands. The nations of the of Choyowei were very unfortunate, since the new empire was very large and covered areas with strategic resources such as oil, uranium and food. One by one, the nations of Choyowei fell one by one to the sword of the Yerahaedists until the planet was conquered (by the period we could compare to the times of the scrambling of Africa).

This conquest caused the planet to develop a lot slower than it would normaly do so and 4 centuries had to pass until the Choyoweian Yiravs emerged into space a la Neil Armstrong and 5 more for actual space colonization (save for a few exiles which mananged, at an enormus risk, to get out earlier. If I'm allowed to make multiple nations on the terms of the Other section, I will expand their history and make a republic for them). However, they developed surprisingly fast, and another century took place before they colonized the whole solar system.

(if I'm allowed to have multiple nations) Around the same time, though, they discovered other Yiravids, and they weren't happy at all. The first spaceships outside the solar system were military spaceships created in order to smite the infidels. They expanded very aggresively due to their absolute intolerance to infidels until they were met by a large coallition to halt their aggresive expansionism. They were utterly crushed, reduced to a few core systems and were forced by the Treaty of Sniuatera to recognize other nation's religious rights. However, a few centuries later, they infiltrated the governments that succeded them and had much of it's territory returned.

(if I'm not allowed to have multiple nations) After a few centuries, they decided to expand and crushed the still-primitive governments that ruled the planets they conquered. They crushed their native religions mercilessly and assimilited their population rapidly. This caused a major eruption in rebellious secularists, which for a time occupied most of the empire. They were forced to allow certain religious tolerance at local level, but the government structure changed little (save for the creation of the parlament, which continues to this very day unchanged)

(in both cases) However, no matter how oppresive or legitimate the government is, eventually liberalism will strike from the shadows. An ever-growing secularization movement is growing among the population and it has been caught despite the people struggling to keep it on secrecy. The amount of arrests show that this rebellion will be quite bigger than the other exponential rebellions the empire suffered. Will the Yerahid keep control of his empire and this one rebellion remain as one of the many rebellions? Will he be forced to quit some of his powers? Or will he be overthrown?

Religion: Yerahaedism is a polytheist religion with a large pantheon of deities.
The first deity is Yerah, or the greatest. He is the god of the Yirav and he controls the skies, the space and the stars.
The second deity is the primordial goddess, known as Omnja. She is the godess of the planets and of the soil.
There are, of course, many other deities such as Odohr, the god of intelligence, Talkan, the god that protects the yerahaedists and many other deities and mythological creatures, but the first two I mentioned are the most important deities

There are three major branches of Yerahaedism. The first one is the talkani branch, which accepts Talkan as a major deity instead of being just a minor god and that he appoints a certain Yiradi to be his vice-governor.; then there’s the Omnjist branch, which states that Omnja is above all the other deities since she is the primordial goddess; and then there’s the Kartelan branch, which states that only the Kartas (the holy book of Yerahaedism) is the book that must be respected.

Other (Culture and the like): Now that my app is nearing completion, may I create another nation and a couple medium/minor nations (all of these with the same species of course)? I'm not going to use it as a bridge to ultimate galaxy blobbing or to make a gigantic alliance (unless everyone wants to exterminate them off the galaxy or something like that). I say this because it feels quite unrealistic that, unless this just happens to follow the same technological timeline of futuretimeline.net, the whole species are part of one nation. In addition, just for general benefit, may I ask that someone draws a map?

Republic of Ardal

Name of the nation: Republic of Ardal

Government: Representative Democracy.

A president rules the republic and is elected every 6 years but can have infinite terms once in office. The president holds the executive power and there are two parliaments for the two other powers (Judiciary and Legislative). However, due to tradition, the population can vote if the laws are very important.

The most popular party is currently the People's Council and second to them is the Party of Democracy.

Military: Their military is fairly small; only 20 ships are on the whole fleet. The fleet is balanced between offensive and defensive.

History: The Republic of Ardal was founded as the result of the extremist policies of the Ayaerid Empire. Many ayaerids were tired of the lack of freedom and, along with Omnjist Yerahaedists, secularists and liberals; they built a spaceship and escaped the planet just before the police could arrest them after discovering their plans.

Due to the primitiveness of this interstellar spaceship and little research put into it, after going to the interstellar void the solar veils ran out of energy and they were now stuck. For 4 centuries, they were stuck in this void but they lived as if nothing was ever happening. Before hitting land in another planet, few even knew they were on a spaceship at all. However, the gravitational pull of other stars slowly drifted them and finally one star managed to influence gravitationally the spaceship above all the other stars. The spaceship drifted to say star for 2 centuries until it hit one of its planets, where there was a still-primitive Yirav population.

They began building their cities with the help of the locals and lived in peace (save for some local raids and protests here and there) for 2 centuries. Then the cursed Ayaerid Empire attacked and conquered them. A period of darkness came as these secularist liberals, once so happy with their new government, were now having to hide, like in the old times. Only after the treaty of Sniuatera they restored their former republic and they prospered alongside the other nations. After a series of struggles against Ayaerid insurgents and against the other nations, they managed to stabilize their new nation.

Unfortunately, they are dangerously close from the Ayaerids and the relations of both nations weren’t exactly that good. At first, they only shared a small frontier after the war. However, due to the subsequent support for rebellions, the Ayaerids occupy 2/5ths of the frontier.
