Both Ed and Mage were thrown through a wall. That hurt like hell. Ed stumbled trying to get his senses back together. Everything hurt. Nothing seemed broken at least. Though a concussion was possible. He pulled at his magic twisting it around both himself and his counterpart. Healing them. Sort of. It was enough to ease the pain.

Mage nodded at Ed. Appreciating the healing, and taking the offensive. He moved through the rubble back into the other room. He immediately started throwing force blasts. A blunt tool, but good at distracting and bruising and knocking someone off balance. The first couple Quicksilver dodged, but two hit him hard, knocking him over. Perfect. Now he hoped Klara would take advantage of the downed speedster.

Guin was being sweet, but there was no way Ed would abandon her. And it wouldn't have been in the cards anyway. Sabretooth was focusing on him, which he was fine with. This fight couldn't last long. They needed it to be over and done with as quickly as possible. That meant one thing. Going for a kill. Something Ed wouldn't have done prior to this whole situation. His sister's death here though had broken him of that habit.

He flung blasts of force. Sharpened as much as he could with the intentionally dull tool. His magic was never meant to be used this way. But he focuses still with intent. And cuts flesh. Sabretooth is blinded and the wind is knocked out of him. Still breathing. "Run, do not go back to the base." They can't risk Sabretooth following them. Hopefully, Guin listens to him. Hopefully, she doesn't go back to the base.

UGH! They would have to explain this all over again. It was getting real annoying real quick. Each time they encountered a new person the automatic response was to attack them. Their group's counterparts had pissed off someone at one point or another and it was endless. And of course one of the new people to show up was Luminous. For a split second, all she could see was the death of someone who had never existed. Good to know those memories weren't being overwritten. It was like the two worlds that she had lived in that were gone were more real than the life she had legally lived.

Oli moved away. Something about that set her teeth on edge. She didn't like that he wasn't by her side and wanted to complain about that, but she bit it back. Bit back a lot of comments she wanted to say. What she needed to establish was if this was their universe's Luminous. There was an easy way to do that. She pulled off her gloves and stashed them in her pocket. Before darting forward to touch Luminous. That's all she needed was a brief contact.

The first attempt was dodged. The second was not. "She belongs here. Not the one we are looking for." She backed up away from Luminous. "We are from another universe." She said seriously. "I'm getting real tired of people thinking I'm a clone. I sort of wish I was. It'd make things easier." She touched her leg, prepping it. Arming it for defense. She didn't want to hurt these people. Not even Luminous. She was one of the best Warriors for the Blue.

A whole lot started to happen. Amelia was still at a complete loss of herself. She was the local Amelia, which got really confusing when the local one showed up. Something Matt hoped wouldn't happen to anyone else.

At least Matt's desire to solve murders didn't stop him from caring about Cass. Who was trying to fight someone he had no hope of getting a touch on. This was going to have to be dealt with quickly. He aimed for the man's shoulder hoping to remove him from the fight without killing him. This place surely had good enough medical care that it shouldn't kill him. He hoped anyway.

In the end, it didn't matter. The bullets were stopped. Whatever the man's clothes were made of stopped the bullets. Great. Just great.

The complement meant a lot to Andy. She had grown up with very little reassurance that she was doing good. Especially when it came to being a mutant. Only the Drummonds had ever given her praise for her skills. Andy couldn't help but smile. But she still had a task to do. Get the metal disk from Magento. Zari summoned a pegasus! And pulled her up onto it with her. Andy was excited to be on the pegasus.

As they took to the air Andy wondered something. She knew that metal could be magnetized by electricity. Could the opposite be done? She reached out feeling the electrical fields around her and the items in the room. How close was magnetism to what she could do? She focused on the small object, their MacGuffin. And twisted at the electrical field. It coursed through her. Electricity could still hurt her, it had in the past. And she could feel it pulling at her very insides. Like her body was ready to rip apart if she did this wrong. She tried to push through it, but couldn't. It was just out of her reach. Maybe with practice. Maybe with training, she could, but for now, that was not in her skills.

Not deterred, Andy problem solved. They were in the air, making the disk reachable. But they needed to get past Magneto's defenses. She couldn't bring the item to her. A few ideas crossed her mind. One seemed even more impossible so she discarded that immediately.

"What if I distract him and you work on trying to get the piece?" She asked, staying on the pegasus, but reaching out to the nearest piece of furniture that flew by. A charge left her hand, and now that it was out there she kept it alive. Kept it rotating through the furniture. A field of electricity came to life using the furniture and its movement of it to create a zone of electricity. Her goal?

Distraction. Magneto would have to slow down and move the furniture further apart to deactivate the field. Hopefully, giving them the opening to grab the ex-spoon. She had never done anything like this before, but the idea came from Tesla Coils, which would mean the electricity could discharge with great prejudice.

Andy shifted in her seat. She looked at the drawing and was glad Kiera asked what the Lotus Hotel was. Her brother was going there. She sighed frustrated. It was like fate itself was trying to put everyone she knew in danger. The life of a demi-god. She understood Arthur's frustration with the gods really well at that moment.

She didn't know what to say. So she sat back quietly. It was one of those moments she really felt her eleven years old. Most of the time she could deal with the age difference, but today she felt so much a child. Lost and wanting to do something but being unable. She hated it. Hated that feeling. It was too close to hopelessness. Something she couldn't allow herself to feel. She reached out for Arthur's hand without even thinking about it.

"Well that rules out several of the people voted for. It might be easier to just have you appoint someone Chiron. At least for now." Niah says seeing what Rosie had drawn. She frowned thinking. Then looked up at Kiera asking what the Hotel was. Chiron explained it better than she could so she stood there listening. Niah, having been friends with two people who had been held by the hotel knew more about it than most and less than her friends. More than she wanted to know. If she was honest in her heart she was glad she wasn't going.

It was clear who was supposed to go in this case. Niah didn't know all the people in Rosie's painting, and the ones she did she knew were Greek. That meant Nancy was the only Roman on this quest and that annoyed her. But it meant Leandra wasn't going, which was at least a small favor from the universe. But how did Leandra end up below later? That part of the future was still confusing. And worrisome. It also put the onus on most of the quest on the Greeks. She only had to worry about Nancy.

This was becoming an issue. Juggernaut was contained and everyone was right. Ed knew he wouldn't be able to keep him. So he flicked his wrist sending him out the window and into the city. Ed didn't know where he landed, nor did he particularly care. Juggernaut would likely survive the ordeal and it that was fine with Ed. He didn't want to be a killer. Not now. Not here. He turned to Mary seeing that she was bleeding and cast a healing spell. And even though the soft orange glow of his magic hit her it didn't do any good.

Meanwhile, Mage was distracted with Quicksilver. He flicked his hand and an orange glowing ball appeared right in front of Quicksliver tripping him up. That wasn't what he wanted to happen. But that was fine. It might at least slow the speedster down. Catching Quicksilver would be a challenge. Mage wasn't afraid to try it though. But so far they hadn't been able to take out any of the attacks and soon their resources would be worn down. Something needed to change.

"Worry about the others first." Rose said with a bright smile. She could still punch if need be. It was only her bow that was restricted because it required both arms. She'd much rather Merlin worry about those who were genuinely unable to protect themselves. Though she did appreciate he was willing to try.

She glanced around as they continued to make their way. It was dark now. And traveling like this in the dark wasn't really a great idea, but it was the option they had since their old spot was compromised. As they continued, Rose got the feeling of being watched and glanced around trying to find the source. She saw an outline of some animal and looked at it trying to decern what it might be.

She had to move a bit to get a good look since it is hiding in some bushes. But it appears to be a wolf. Her heart pounded lightly in her ears. She had always felt an affinity for wolves and didn't know why. She had hoped to have answers from Red, but little had been discussed about it. Other than the one wolf that had been protecting her years ago. She hadn't had time to ask follow-up questions because Rumple had attacked at that time.

Rose looked at the bush, considering if she should try some Disney Princess bullshit or move on.

"Cat number three." Colby grinned as he gave the cat attention. Now that they were outside it would be best to not discuss the delicate parts of their plan. He did laugh at Willow's code phrase and nodded. "I like it." He stood up picking up the cat as he started to walk. He had to look a bit ridiculous at this point with three cats on him. One on each shoulder and now this one in his arms. He hoped Jafar wasn't allergic to cats. Or maybe it'd be funnier if he was.

He frowned thinking about what he knew about Jafar. In one of the movies he had become a genie and been locked away. That must not have happened here. Or if it had it had been reversed? Was Aladian's dad the king of thieves here? He thought about the smell of the old plastic case for the VHS he had inherited from his adoptive parent's family. It gave him a weird nostalgic pang he hadn't anticipated.

He glanced over at the guards that seemed to be watching them and decided to flank Willow with Maddie. He figured it would be better and safer for her that way. As much as he'd rather be walking by Maddie's side. Hopefully, Maddie would understand why and not get hurt by the choice.

"Want to hold a cat?" He offered her.

Dodging things was something that came easy to Andy. However, she'd have to be careful here. These weren't telegraphed punches like she was used to. She'd prefer being in the ring. But in a way this was a ring. They were two v. one. She assessed the situation.

With Zari distracting him with her sword she came in from the other side. It wasn't easy. She had to doge quite a bit because of the furniture now flying around them. But thankfully with her Enhanced Reflexes, she is able to clear the worst of it. Gaging the distances between the pieces of furniture flying around.

Until she's close enough, and then almost casually so as to not attract attention, she sends a blast of Electricity through the furniture. It bounces through and hits Magneto. It would not be something Andy would try normally as she fears it would be too unpredictable. But it hits him and he seems stunned. Still standing. Still alive.

So she does the next thing she had planned. It has worked perfectly so far. She lands a perfect punch, aiming for the solar plexus area. She doesn't want to actually hurt Magento, but she isn't pulling her punches either. This is the quickest way for the fight to end. Her hand crackles with electricity as the punch lands. And she steps back nimbly ready for a return punch, hands up in a classic boxer stance.

As they progressed Ed's mind was tumbling over what they were seeing. He had never been to New York before this event. So the city was new to him. Fortunately, it, for the most part, is on a perfect grid. As they came up through an alley he heard something and slowed down even more, taking a look down the street to see the cause of the disturbance. It was Sabretooth. For the first time, it was someone recognizable. What was he doing throwing a tantrum?

He waved his hand to Guin and quickly crossed the street to the next alley. Then delved deeper into the shadows trying to get away from the street. He ducked behind a trash bin and let out a quiet sigh of relief. He'd wait here for Sabretooth to pass. He did not want him to see movement out of the corner of his eye. Even if he looked rather distracted. And hopefully, Sabretooth's unnatural sense of smell wouldn't pick up on Guin and him.

Her brother won. Only barely. She smiled. At least she would have been happy with either Kristin or Demi getting it. Cass got too many votes in her opinion and wondered who thought that would be a good idea. He was too much an agent of chaos and would have probably caused issues on purpose.

She looked at Niah as she spoke about yet another prophecy. Andy wondered what it was about. She couldn't read what Niah was thinking but she had never seen her with such a cool expression on her face, except maybe just before the battle. She frowned. Was Niah scared of something? She stood up, ready to find her Aunt and see what was going on.

Niah took a moment to think about what she knew about Andy's brother. She figured other than being a little impulsive he seemed fine enough. She glanced at Danielle and then nodded. "Demetri is fine." If only she knew. "And since you're all assembled, we have another prophecy. It seems a group will be going to the Lotus Hotel. I do not have all the details. Nancy should be speaking with Zeke now as he is involved." Enough time had passed that Mads should have found him by now.

She looked to Rosie, knowing that she was the Oracle for the Greeks. "I do not know your process, but any further details you can provide would be appreciated." Asking Nancy to go over the prophecy would be torture in her opinion. For now, though she was projecting a cool demeanor refusing to allow her emotions about the situation to take control.
