Elodie rolled out of her bed. It wasn't much of a bed actually, just a mat on the floor. She opened her eyes and looked around. Today was her 3rd day in the pit. She looked around at her cell. The floor was chilly and cold. Around one of her legs there was a sealed chain cuff. It was hooked to the wall, secured deeply in and surrounded with strong magic. A frown appeared on her face. She hated being here, but it was "for her own good." All of her magic was just an accident, she never wanted to freeze the market.
She stared at the wall next to her. It was blank and had a seal written on it, in a language she couldn't understand. She reached out to trace the letters with her hands. When she touched the engraving it glowed a deep red and grew hot. Her finger started to melt slowly. She gasped in pain and immediately withdrawed her arm. They must've used fire magic to seal me..
Elodie layed back down onto her "mattress" and waited patiently for breakfast hour. She counted the scratches on the wall, one by one. A few minutes later, a clicking noise came from her leg and her head perked up. The metal clamp had loosened, and she was free to go. Her heart racing, she rush out of her cell, excited to be anywhere but there.
She set back her hair and tied it into a ponytail before entering the hall. The weight of her clothing made her feel safe and controlled, but it was obvious the cold was biting through.

Age: 18
Species: Human
Power: Ice magic, however, she has physcial effects depending on how much she uses it. The more she uses her power, the colder she gets. (Skin frosting over, lower body tempatures, uncontrollable power sparks) Once she has casted an ice spell, she cannot reverse it.
Appearance:
Elodie has permantly frozen skin and arms. She covers almost every inch of her body because of that reason. She has pale white eyes and tanned skin, but most of it is frosted over so it is barley visible. She has a short stature and lacks height
Bio: Elodie comes from a northern tribe known for jackdeer hunting. However, Elondie was split apart from her family during a southern elf raid. She fled away east towards the lands that were unknown and undiscovered. She has partied with multiple adventures, but usually kicked out for ice accidents or uncontrollable magic. The last straw was when she was visiting a city. She had accidentally frozen 2 streets after battling a cyclops. Her magic became overused and uncontrollable, and that was when she was thrown in a dungeon.
Personality:
Elodie is extremley curious and is a tinker. She is social and likes to make a lot of friends, and is often the one to tell jokes. She thinks with more of her rational side of brain rather than emotional, and can be insensitive at times.
