3rd January 2016 - Sunday morning
It was Sunday morning. Sitting in her professionally outfitted home recording studio, Vanessa was up at an atypical hour for the weekend.
Leaving Livana's embrace in the twilight hours - reluctantly - her music muses were alight. If she waited to record the idea, the brunette feared she'd lose it. It was something she experienced many times over again. Placing her guitar down on a nearby stand, she readjusted her headphones and played the file. Tapping the BPM rhythm with her non-dominant hand, Vanessa scribbled down some ideas at specific time marks. She loved music, but good lord was it a meticulous art. It was hard to appreciate the work that went into it.
Saving what progress she made so far, Vanessa glanced at a clock mounted on the wall. She blinked. Blinked again. "Oh."
Once everything was saved, Vanessa put her Apple desktop to sleep. Sitting too long as made her sore. Sadly, it was a common soreness.
Turning off the light, Vanessa tussled her messy brown hair and was met with bright sunlight. Unlike her better half, Vanessa was a poor paragon of fashion when she was at home. Bad example for the kids probably.
Wandering around the mansion towards her room, Vanessa spotted two familiar faces. She walked over and waved at Lawrence. "I thought I heard something," Vanessa said in her silky medium alto voice. "Morning Lawrence. Home's open to you as always." Vanessa turned her attention to Livana. "Morning love. Someone's at the table. You woke the kids?"
Vanessa rubbed her hands together. "You joining us then, Lawrence? I'm sure we have a spare seat."
