The Arena
"Hah, I knew you were going to do that! But this time I'm ready for it, Horseface!" Mordred said as she closed in on Chiron. The Archer's maneuver was far from unexpected now that she had a good grasp of his fighting style. However, he wasn't counting with one thing. Mordred is far crazier and tougher than she looks like.

She didn't even try to dodge his counter, instead driving her chin right into his fist with enough force that she probably got a few broken teeth, if not the jaw, or even a snap neck. However, nothing of this mattered for someone who could keep on fighting even after having the Holy Spear jammed into her guts.

Instead of being thrown backwards, Mordred concentrated all of her power in her back and feet, stomping one of Archer's feet to forbid him from dodging while she drove her Clarent's pommel towards his neck with enough force that probably would get his head to pop off either way and... stopped just one hair's breadth away from connecting letting all the force dissipate in a massive crackle of thunder.

"You wasn't half bad. But, admit it, this one is mine, Archer," Mordred said with a vicious, bloody smile stamped on her face.

Othis deadpan countenance didn't make it clear whether or not she was impressed by the Professor's display of dapper gentlemanliness. However, she didn't oppose it either, so both archrivals would have to draw their own conclusions of what kind of impression she got from his introduction.

"I've studied them all, but my favorite is A Treatise on the Binomial Theorem. It's a quite refreshing take on the subject, even if it came at such a late date on the evolution of mathematics," Othis said after being asked about which books she had read. "I have to say that the... applicability of some of them is dubious, them," she added.

"Holmes and I were on our way to investigate the recent reports of incidents in the waters close to the city but, since we run into a fortuitous encounter with such a well-informed person as you. Can I ask you something? You don't happen to know anything about those events, do you, Professor?" Othis asked in her usual blunt manner.
Well, I cleaned this up a bit but it's still basically the same:

"Would it really be a matter of preference when you have no control over the world in which you live? Most of those you see don't even know that something like the sun exists. It's only people like us—who come from the outside—who are aware that such fairytales are real," Maria replied, looking to the receding barmaid after wetting her lips with her drink.

"I guess that you could say that," the pale looking huntress said when Lin mentioned that money probably was a scarce commodity in these lands.

"I do appreciate a like minded businesswoman. I'm tired of neophytes that only know how to grief when they realize the situation they got themselves into."

"I'm searching for partners to help me take a look at this neat little chateau in the countryside. If you are into it, we can share the profit evenly," Maria said as she finished her drink. Right about the same time, if anyone were to check, they would notice that the food before them disappeared mysteriously, the culprit being none other than Sherry who was already licking her fingers obliviously.

"Well... it didn't look like the two of you were going to have any so... I couldn't let the food go to waste, right? Ehehe," the well-endowed girl said in a sheepish voice while scratching the back of her head, after having used a little bit of magic to clean her hands, of course. "Anyway, I guess that I'm ok with whatever she says, after all, she's the one who's the boss here," she said while looking at Caprice.

Name: Alexa Dover Jupiteria
Age: 23
Personality: A rather nice person for a magus. She has a good sense of humor and a hard working, studious personality. In other words, she's a pretty run-off-the-mill person who just happens to do magic for a living.
Abilities: Her main talent lies in a refined general knowledge of magecraft fundamentals, particularly, traditional alchemy and astromancy, along with related fields like numerology and geometry. She's very well knowledgeable in transmuting and reinforcing basic elements like stone and metals, and creating bounded fields. However, as expected of someone who's focused on the fundamentals, she isn't capable of matching the power of a magus who's deep into their own family research, or a dedicated practitioner of any foundation.
History: She was born in a traditional family, or rather an coalition, of mages that is only tangentially connected to the Association. They practice classic alchemy, but don't deal with things like Magical Crests. Their thought process is that depending on Crests (and a heavy dose of inbreeding to keep their blood "pure") is why the Clock Tower mages lose their power at a rate that far exceeds that of places like Atlas and traditional practitioners who pass on their knowledge to the next generations through actual study and tutoring.

Her last name is actually given from the ruling planet under whose influence she was born.

Since the faculties that they have the best relations with are Animusphere and Norwich, they usually send a few promising youths to study at those factions of the Clock Tower. She specifically spent a lot of time in the Astromancy department, making extensive uses of their equipment. Whenever she wasn't doing that she could be found in Modern Magecraft Theories, attending lessons.

"Cosplay!?" Nanoha said, partially in shock, after being taken as a cosplayer. Perhaps, was it because she based her Barrier Jacket design on her former school's uniform? "Do you mean a Servant, as in like some kind of familiar? Also, do you know anything about modern Japan, miss Suzuka?" she couldn't avoid asking back.

Anyway, right after Nanoha used her magic...

That... wasn't supposed to happen. Nanoha never had experienced anything that could arrest her control over her magic before. Regardless of the information that she learned being important, the implications of a force in this realm being able to "hack" her spells was enough cause to worry. Just to be sure that she wouldn't be surprised by anything else, Nanoha asked Raising Heart to stay on high alert mode while she put all of her concentration at the task at hand.

"I have a bad feeling about this. We should get going already," Nanoha said as she armed herself with Raising Heart and followed the others.
Oh cool. So I took a look at the IC a while back and remembered there's a gacha. Is that still a thing?

You are not required to take that option, but I suppose you can if you really want to.

Just ask @Reflection to get you something if that's the case.
Oh dang I woke up from my nap after too long. Too bad too, this looked pretty cool.

Hmm?

We are still going on. Just so that you know.

EDIT: You are welcome to come in if you want, by the way.
There you have it, in a slightly experimental format:

OLIVIER DE VIENNE, KNIGHT OF THE OLIVE BRANCH
"I'm the Knight of the Olive Branch, Olivier, one of Charlemagne's Twelve Paladins. Was it you who summoned me?"
STR B+ | END A | AGI B | MAG B | LCK C | NP B+

RIDING: B
MAGIC RESISTANCE: B
DEFAULT:
One of the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne, a group of heroes often compared to the Knights of the Round Table in both fame and feats.

Olivier was said to be Roland's foil: equal in every aspect but having an opposite personality. While Roland sailed in the winds of passion like a ship with no rudder, Olivier was firm and shine like a lighthouse of reason, always guiding others back to safety.

In other words, she is a dependable big sister who was the only sane person in the Holy Emperor's court.
1st:
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 164cm/52kg
SOURCE: Matter of France
REGION: Western Europe
ALIGNMENT: Lawful Good
GENDER: Female

"Why I don't take off my clothes like everyone else? Because I'm not a shameless exhibitionist like them, of course."
2nd:
A knight said to be the match to the mighty Roland in every regard. Ever since she was able to fight him to a draw in a duel to settle a long dispute between their lords, both of them became inseparable friends. They fought together and, even though Roland's stubbornness costed both of their lives, she never blamed him for anything.

"I knew it was going to end like that some day. It may be a sad story, but I don't think it was a waste."
3rd:
BATTLE CONTINUATION: B
Olivier has an iron determination, never giving up no matter what. Furthermore, even after being stabbed in the back with a spear, she was able to deliver a fatal blow to her killer before breathing her last.
CALM AND COLLECTED: B
"Dealing with Roland's temper and being the only person in Charlie's court who thought things through before acting was hard."
KNIGHT OF THE OLIVE BRANCH: EX
The olive tree is associated with wisdom ever since Antiquity. In addition, its branches are a traditional symbol of peace, traditionally offered to the other side to signify a truce request.

In practice, this skill works like the Proof of Friendship skill, but since Olivier can actually gift others with olive branches, it's effect is such that she can get even the most maddened Berserker, and even those who have the Mental Pollution skill, to sit down and talk at least for a moment.
4th:
HAUTECLAIRE, BRILLIANT BLADE OF THE FRAGRANT OLIVE BRANCH
RANK: E to A+
TYPE: Anti-Army
RANGE: 1 to 50
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TARGETS: 250 people

Olivier's sword which holds the power of sacred olive tree, venerated as a gift from the gods to mankind ever since Ancient Greece.

It can absorb sunlight and magical energy to grow in power much like a tree being nourished by the bountiful Earth Mother and the Sun's gifts. The stored power can be released in two ways: as a beam, or to cause olive trees to burst from the ground, potentially restraining others with their branches and roots, providing cover, etc.
5th:
She had many exasperating adventures both beside Roland and the other Paladins, as well as on her own. Between facilitating the reform of the giant warrior Fierabras, helping Roland recover his lost sanity, all the way up to their last battle in Roncevaux, it's safe to say that Olivier never had a dull day during the time she spent in Charlemagne's court.
EXTRA:
Born as Aude, Roland's betrothed who got forgotten in favor of the bewitching Angelica.

After hearing about Bradamante's adventures in search of her (constantly kidnapped) beloved Ruggiero and becoming infatuated with the gallantry of the other girl's actions, she begged her uncle to allow her to join the Holy Emperor's court. He accepted her request under the condition that would have to prove her worth by defeating Charlemagne's chosen champion in a duel.

After renaming herself Olivier, she claimed the mantle of Knight of the Olive Branch, fought Roland to a standstill and, eventually got everything she could ever wish for. Pursuing the love of a dense man was hard, but Olivier never regretted doing it. Even though Roland never seemed to notice her efforts, her days were plentiful just by being beside him and the others.

"It certainly vexed me. How could anyone be so dense? Perhaps, was it because he was so oblivious that I couldn't help but want to be by his side? Or maybe, was it I who was too coward to say what I really felt like?"
"Sadly we don't. I have a few hypotheses but I need more information to confirm them," Nanoha said as she landed beside Youmu before bowing politely to the other odd duo as well. "We are also visitors from different worlds. I'm Takamachi Nanoha, a mage from Earth and representative of the Time and Space Administration Bureau, Tokyo Branch. I came here to investigate a spatial anomaly together with my friend Raising Heart," she introduced herself before gesturing to the crimson gem floating by her side.

"I've heard about worlds like this one before. But these don't look like remnants of any civilization I know of. And it looks like it has been in this state for a a really long time," Nanoha said as she looked around. "Since none of us has any solid idea about the true regarding this place, what do you say about we sticking together for the time being?" she asked.

"Searching the whole city house by house on foot will probably take too long, though. It that's the case, can you please do a W.A.S. and try to find anything unusual, Raising Heart?" Nanoha asked her device, which chimed as usual before sending out a number of balls of pink light floating around the city, searching every nook and cranny for anything noteworthy.
That would be alright for me.
