Spectrum of Light (A Lantern Corps RP)

Skorn entered the atmosphere of the ruined planet and was met with a ghastly sight. Everything in sight was destroyed, burning, or dead, and smoke thick enough to block out the planet's sun filled the air. Anything that required air to breathe would have choked and suffocated instantly, reminding him of the harsh air of Ysmault.

*ROBOTIC SENTIENCE DETECTED*

That was his cue. Skorn took off in a flash of red to where his ring led him to and found a Blue Lantern fleeing from what seemed to be a Manhunter. Skorn flapped his draconian wings as he caught up to the android, then reached out his claws to grab the Manhunter by the leg. The Red Lantern changed his direction of flight afterwards, plummeting downwards so as to destroy the Android upon crashdown.

Alright, thanks. I'll see what I do in the end, since most of my characters have a hard time forming any bonds with anyone.
Until then I'll just wait to post in... any RP for the moment. I'm not dropping out, I just think I might need to switch up my activities for a day.

If I'm not feeling like it, I usually watch TV or do something else. I find taking a shower is a good source of inspiration x)

That's pretty much what I'm waiting for, since my character is the type to only converse with others that approach him. Unless he here's something that interests him or sets him off he probably won't be talking much.

Showers are a pretty good source of inspiration for me too, but even during and after one... I'm not really feeling it. Everything just feels inadequate, shallow, and incomplete whenever I write, be it characters or IC posts.

"The Manhunters have always been ones to return after defeat," Skorn explained as he brought his sharp tail up to his sight and began morphing the red energy around it into various forms. A serpent head, a morningstar, a regular blade...
"It comes as no surprise that these androids are stilo around, but the fact that they have been able to regrow their numbers so quickly is troublesome. Maybe they've had external help this time, but from who?"

Skorn suddenly detected combat going on in the planet below. Had something survived?

"There's something left down there..."

Skorn clenched his claws into fists as he heard the yellow lantern replay the words through his ring. The Manhunters. All of the Red Lanterns had heard about these abominations of the Guardians. They were the very monsters responsible for the entire slaughter of Atrocitus' sector and family. If they were returning yet again... well, it couldn't be good for anyone. Skorn looked at the Sinestro corps member and flew closer to him until he was right up in his face. The heat from his body could be felt at this point, and perhaps even burn the flesh of a normal human being.

"Truce huh? Hmph, fine. As much as I hate to deal with scum like you and your allies, it must be as such...."
