I think we are waiting on three people, and the folks playing two people (three of us I think?) have only posted for one of our characters.

Approaching the Guild's 10 year anniversary

The Guild is like a second family to me. I've met so many amazing friends on here and I love all of them to pieces. I fondly recall the days of IRC when we played Cards Against Humanity and Truth or Dare together, and laughed at each other when we got on Skype or TinyChat and found out that not all of us sound exactly how others expected us to.

In addition to meeting some amazing friends, I also met my incredible boyfriend through the Guild's IRC, and we have the cutest kiddo in the whole world, so thanks. You guys are the best.

_PROJECT: P.H.O.B.I.A._

The feeling was like nothing anyone could have described to her,
or better yet, it was like feeling nothing at all.
Like not being able to see, or breathe, or feel, or smell.
Like all of her senses just disappeared and she was left with emptiness.

The room had been bright. The uncomfortable kind of bright that casts a white glow on everything, and the whole building had an eerie sort of sense to it, like a hospital in the middle of the night when you wander the halls and it's only you and the night nurses who quietly murmur amongst themselves from the shelter of their glass-walled station. They had quickly ushered her through the entry and down a small elevator. Nothing of particular note caught her attention until they entered the laboratory.

It was late and the floor seemed mostly empty, save for a select few manning the machines which were humming along the walls. They directed her towards a small and sparsely furnished room and told her to wait. The staff she had met thus far seemed to all be the quiet type, but for the first time since she entered the facility she was alone.

Nausea and a sense of uneasiness swept over her when she finally awoke.

She couldn't recall the faces of anyone she had crossed paths with, and what's worse, she had very little memory of what happened after she entered the testing room. A side effect of the procedure, they told her. So was the sick feeling in her stomach. Her eyes burned. Her throat burned. Every part of her body ached, and she was oddly... wet? She traced her fingertips down her arm. Did I take a shower? The puzzled look on her face remained until she looked up and saw what looked to be a large glass cylinder filled with water in the center of the room.

The uneasy feeling she had when she first awoke heightened to a sense of sickening dread in a matter of moments as flickers of the previous hours flitted through her brain. Screaming. Darkness. Water. She couldn't breathe and yet she wasn't drowning. Like her worst nightmare except she couldn't wake up; couldn't escape it.

Blinking she stood on shaky feet and walked the few feet towards the white, windowless door. The icy handle turned easily and she stepped out into an empty hallway.

It was even brighter outside the lab room. Or maybe they dimmed the lights while they were testing? Heels clicked at the end of the hall and a frighteningly tall older woman with a stern face and dark eyes strode towards her.

"You shouldn't be alone out here yet," she huffs. The woman places a firm hand on Maddie's back and guides her to the main room to finish recovering with the other subjects.

If you're interested in a Discord channel you can have the staff in the Guild's Discord make a room off of the main one. Other folks have done that so I'm sure they'd be fine with it. Or you could make your own, totally up to you!

Soooo I didn't watch the fourth season of Legend of Korra (mostly because I thought the other seasons were completely awful, but that's neither here nor there), so I was unaware that the antagonist that season was Kuvira. Because of this I edited my character and changed her name. Just wanted to give folks a heads up.

Biography
Born and raised in the Earth Kingdom, and a middle child in a very large family, Amaya was the first bender in over two generations.
At seventeen she bid her parents farewell and left home in hopes of mastering her element, but while she was gone a tragedy struck and most her family was killed.
Only herself and her eldest brother, a soldier in the Earth Kingdom's army, were left alive.
A year of grieving followed and Amaya found herself in a secluded village of non-benders.
Hiding her ability allowed her to assimilate into the culture and she lived in peace for a handful of years before hearing rumor that the Avatar had been found.
She sent word to her brother and the letter back confirmed what she had heard.
Determined to redeem herself after the death of her family she has been looking for the Avatar ever since, hoping to provide some form of protection on his journey to stop The Order.

Thanks! Took me a while to get her posted because I hadn't drawn an earth bender before. I was originally going to make her a fire bender (hence the pose) but we have lots of those so I went with Earth. Glad she is accepted, I'll move her to the characters tab.

@Skwint There are three Fire Benders and three Earth Benders. The roleplay could definitely use more Water and Air Benders lol.
