I’m intrigued. Will it be a clue finding and puzzle solving style escape?

That's pretty much it. Not all of the time, of course, but investigation will be the basis of this story as opposed to combat.
ESCAPE FROM THE NORWOOD MANSION

The Norwood Mansion said to sit in a nigh abandoned patch of a rapidly industrializing nation' dark countryside. Any wise mind would avoid the derelict residence that was once the home of an affluent family that withdrew from the world after falling in disgrace a long time ago. The place couldn't possibly hold anything of value, at least not anything worth the risk of dealing with the packs of wild dogs that are said to ravage the nearby, mist-laden woods, much less the stories of otherworldly menaces haunting the building itself. Depending on who one asks, the mansion is home to anything as simple as vampires and ghost to literal horrors from beyond the stars, whether any of these stories are true or not is a matter open to debate.

A haunted location, existing in the border between reality and madness.

Yes, no one in their right mind would go to such a place...

Yet, here you are.

Yes, you.

Without knowing why, how, or even when, you found yourself waking up in a candle-lit, cold room, on the mansion's basement. Worse yet, there were others with you, people that you have never seen before, all of which seem to share the same predicament as you.

Who are these people? Why were you brought to this place? And, more importantly, how will you get out?

The answer to these questions—and much more— is what you are about to find out.
PLOT & CHARACTERS
Welcome.

This section is meant to clarify the objectives and expected style of this game that were hinted in the introduction above. To put it as simply as possible, this is an "escape from the dark mansion" style of game. The most prevalent elements are going to be mystery and light supernatural horror.

The player characters can be of any background, have supernatural abilities of their own. The only thing that they have in common is that all PCs are going to wake up in the same dark room and neither of them have no idea of how they got there, or why they are being held captive.

The objective of the story is to find a way to escape the mansion however, it's obviously not going to be an easy feat. A stout heart and plentiful determination are going to be your best allies in this adventure.

@ADamnFiddle

Worry not, I still haven't given up on doing that. I'm just trying to find a way to mesh my ideas together. IF that doesn't work as soon as I get some free time to thinker around that CS properly, then I'll go for another idea.
Sorry for the slowness to get my second character done, the end of the year is a bit of a hard time.

I'm working on the CS but things aren't coming out as well as I'd like. Probably, I'll scrape my initial idea and do something else for a Master.
@Gummy1295 @Over Illusion

Excuse me for meddling, but isn't it more interesting for the Spear of Longinus to be a God-killer weapon rather than an Evil-killer one? It makes perfect sense considering that it was used to put the Son of God out out of his misery that it would be a Weapon that ranks up in power against Servants with the Divinity and/or Saint personal skills. Kinda like how Enkidu works.

Maybe, t would be interesting to give it a second function, just like Gae Bolg has, too? Say... like an EX rank Anti-Unit attack that guarantees a killing blow, regardless of the target being immortal or not, with the caveat that it can only be used as in a genuine mercy kill move. Something that Longinus would do because he pities the dying target and would rather kill them than let them suffer any longer, just like he did with Jesus.

In my view, Longinus is less of a holy weapon and more of a weapon of mercy. This kind of dilutes the NP's power (considering how mercy kills are far from what you picture anyone doing a HGW), but it kinda feels more in line with the crystalization of what made it into an important item, rather than a video game-y interpretation of what it should be. Because NPs are more about "What made this be what it's?" than "What is this?" or "What should this be?"

I hope this last one made sense...

Either way, take my opinion with a grain of salt. I was just commenting at how I would try to do Longinus, if I ever chose to use him in a HGW, I'm not trying to influence your choices at all. However, if you like the idea, feel free to use it.
I expect to have my Master application done soon. I've ran into a few issues, but I guess that everything shall be alright by this weekend.

Sounds neat. I'd have to see the whole application to properly give my opinion, but note that as someone who reads that manga for Mahou Tsukai no Yome, and a huge fan of the series since prior to the adaptation, some of the situations could be considered "true magic" within the later sections of the series. So as long as you aren't going for that I would be alright with it~.

Right, I'll finish it ASAP so you can give a proper judgment. Either way, I wouldn't go as far as anything like High Thaumaturgy or True Magic, even pairing oneself with Caster Cu's skills should be next to impossible to a modern magus, and he's more or less the standard I'm working with for this.

Also, it's good to know that you like Mahou Tsukai no Yome as well. I have yet to read the manga, but I'm really liking the anime so so far. It's one of the best stories I've seen in a while.
PS #02: Oops! Didn't see this before I did the post above, sorry.

*is incredibly tempted to app a Master for Mordred but can’t decide if he should wait to see if any other quality waifus appear*

HRRRRRNNNNGGGGGHHH...

Are we going to choose the pairings beforehand or be assigned at random?
@ADamnFiddle

So, I have a good grasp of what I want to do, but before I continue, I guess that I'll need some me information. Before I make any questions here's what I have up to now:

These are just a few notes and ideas, but the principle is to have a very traditional type of Magus inheriting the powers/skills of old. The kind of magecraft that is sometimes scoffed at in the Clock Tower for being too basic. The main inspirations for this character (I won't lie here) are Ancient Magus Bride and the general "feel" of the upcoming London chapter of Grand Order. I think that a very light version of Caster Cu Chulainn is very close to what I envision for this character.

Either way, aside from a few tips on how to properly compliment her, given that magecraft systems and all that comes with them are a labyrinth to navigate through (even when you are as used to Nasuverse lore as I'm), the one thing I'm thinking about now is more or less how many generations are ok for a character's family and more or less how far back that goes in time? Since traditional magecraft isn't exactly family business and more like a clan activity (she's unlikely to have a Crest because of this), I'm even wondering if that bit is relevant at all?

Any insight would be appreciated.

PS: Apologies for the convoluted post. I'm a bit of a hurry, so I couldn't stop to think on proper grammar at the moment.
Well, this leaves us in a precarious position.

Regardless, I'm glad you told us. I appreciate the consideration.

Moving to the matter of this story's continuation, or rather, its cancellation. With two out of the original seven players out of the game already, a general slowdown thanks to the Holidays Season, and no new applications, this leaves us with little choice of what to do.

I'll place this RP under a temporary hiatus. I hope this is not an inconvenience to the rest of you.

If anyone has any comments or suggestions, I'm willing to listen. Otherwise, I guess this is it, everyone.
