Delaney chuckled slightly at her distress t an issue he thought to be so small, though he meant no ill by it. "Surely not, madam. There are two crew cabins; one large and one small. The women will sleep in the small one, the men with my crew in the larger. I would have shown you as much on the tour." He smiled, equal parts sincerity and cheekiness. "I take care of everyone on my ship."

Captain Delaney winced very slightly. He'd forgotten... the royal children. No matter, he had no intention to rescind his offer. "As far as I know, he's asleep in the infirmary right now. Once he's well he'll be sleeping in the crew's cabins just like the rest of the adults." He replied with maybe a tiny hint of malice. What was a king without a kingdom? A man, he thought to himself, just like any other.
I'm kind of busy tonight, but I'll have my phone on me. If I seem unresponsive but it says I'm online, I just set my phone down to take care of something. :D

"There's a spare officer's cabin below the gun deck where they can stay, if they don't mind sharing a room." Captain Delaney replied. "I was just about to show Miss Le'Strange around the ship; perhaps you could come along, I'll show you on the way." He opened the door that lead to half of the cabins, with the rest across the gun deck. "Just mind the steps, ladies, they're a touch steep."
I'm imagining the ship more or less like this. It's a 16th century British galleon.

The Captain smiled with pride. "She is indeed. A hardy old galleon, found her way to me ten years ago." he said. He stood up and held his hand out to her. "Would you like a grand tour?"

"I was indeed, myself and the rest of my crew. If our boat was docked in that harbor, that's where we were; your tavern." Captain Delaney smiled kindly at her. "There were none better in all the world, though I know you'll miss it more than even we could know." he remarked sympathetically.

Captain Delaney was at the helm on the quarterdeck, overlooking those on the maindeck with quiet sympathy. He cast his gaze back to the burning kingdom, already a distance off as the ventured further and further out to see; he held no loyalty for the kingdom and was indifferent to it's end, but he could not say the same about it's inhabitants. How many had they left that they could have saved? If only they had stayed a little longer, looked a little longer...
He forced himself to look back at the maindeck, at who he did save. Most of his crew, a handful of civilians, and... he huffed quietly in anger. The royal family. How utterly disgusting that they survived. Maybe if he'd kicked them off, more civilians could have boarded in their place. More of his crew could have survived.
The captain handed the wheel off to one of the crew as he ventured down to the maindeck, and sat down casually on the deck near Beatrix. "I hope I'm not distracting you from your reading, ma'am, but I believe I know you. Didn't you own the bar near the harbor?" he asked, his voice gruff but his tone gentle, hoping not to startle her after such a tragedy.
@Animera figures it started while i was at work, lol.

"That's correct!" Syl said. She erased her name off the board and wrote each of the elements in a column.

AIR
WATER
EARTH
FIRE
AETHER

"The basic premise of this class, the foundation upon which the theory is built, is that every ability comes from at least one of these elements. Can anyone name a power that fits into one of these categories?"
