I'm not getting notified when someone mentions me. I probably have it turned off in some setting somewhere. I'll try to find it when it's not 4am. Until then, sorry for any slow responses.

I've got two characters in the works, just trying to decide which one to finish up first. I've got one at a low-medium tier, possible three or four depending on the abilities I choose, and the other is easily tier seven with the capability to go higher when and if the plot permits it. He could also technically go to a lower tier with a few personal restrictions. Anyway, I've got a Dragonslayer and a Time Warrior, and I don't know which one to finish first.
Without his eyes, Diabolus had no way of seeing the blast that rapidly approached him, though he could hear the hum of the energy itself. The Beast turned its head to face the sound as the cone of blinding light enveloped him. Immediately, the blast ruptured the earth, quaking as the rock was split apart and disintegrated. Concrete and steel shared the same fate as everything within range was demolished without mercy. Centered on the Demon, the beam effected everything within hundreds of feet, collapsing the towering structures around it inward as it bore a crater into the Earth.
(Edited for math:)

Running the math through my head...I've run into a bit of an issue. If the particular building Free is on is about 800 feet high, and Diabolus is maybe 50 feet from the base of said building., taking into account Free would be standing on or near the edge to get a visual target, if he fired a 45 degree blast from that height centered on Diabolus, we are talking a nearly 300 foot blast radius. Given these parameters, the building Free is standing on would be well within the blast zone. I would be fine with altering the post to take the angle of the blast into account, centering instead on an area roughly 200 feet or so away from Diabolus. He would still be in the radius, but the Building wouldn't be. Otherwise, depending on how long the beam lasts, Free will probably fall into it when the building does.
It also sounds to me, like some people are placed in the arena to fight against their will. At least, that's the path I'm going to use for my character. His demeanor might not make him the best candidate for this, but with the right situation he will probably end up fighting quite a bit. I've got a few other ideas for things as well, but I think they will not come into play for at least a little while.
Aww, Diabolus is too powerful to throw in here. I'll have to think of someone different.
As the third shot damaged his remaining eye, Diabolus began to thrash his head back and forth to dislodge Ahven from his helm. Nearly throwing his own balance off, the Beast slammed the side of his head into the heavily damaged section of the building he had charged before. More chunks of steel debris fell from the frame of the structure, and the Demon continued to scrape his head on the loose debris. He did not know if Ahven was still on top of him, but he aimed to get rid of the 'pest' somehow. Enraged and blind, he swung his hands at his head and gripped at various areas of his horns and helm between ramming the building. At the same time, the thick black ooze covered his newly destroyed eye, hardening into the same metal as the rest of his armor.
Yes, I'll be making a new thread for each. It keeps the clutter down, and allows for two battles at a time if such a need arises. There is a link in the sixth post of this ooc where you can find a list of all eight and cast a vote on the next battle.
Friendly Fire: It isn't.

But yes, Kitsune looks alright from my end as well.
As the second shot pierced the remains of the Beast's eye, he flung his head swiftly to the left before swinging it to look upwards, using the momentum to help him stand upright. Diabolus stood still for a brief moment, then his massive body began to tremble. A deep roar began growing in his throat as his neck seemed to tense up. The black iron of his helmet started to moan, as if under great pressure. After bending and warping, the front of the helm split open and began to tear towards the sides as the Demon opened his mouth. There was a moment of silence as the creature seemed to draw a breath, before the full force of his roar blasted into the air. Reaching decibels of 180, the pressure from the sound alone was enough to shake the nearby buildings and shatter the remaining glass.

The pit where his broken eye rested became covered in a thick layer of black ooze, sealing off the opening as it began to solidify. The Demon lowered its stance, turning to face the area where Shen stood.
That's a very good point. When I first read through it, you character seems to be close to par with the Eight at their current stage. Now, upon reaching the later stages, this will not be an issue, however it is an unfair advantage over the other combatants. The idea behind these battles is for weaker characters to defeat a stronger one through teamwork and tactics. I don't have any problems with the abilities themselves, just the magnitude of them. I would say to scale things back a bit, perhaps build him as he was when he was younger, or still in training. Add some tangible limits to how often he can use his more powerful abilities, or state how much it drains him, and I think you should be good.
