Mikellh Dejax said I think that would be viable, I mean srsly tho, in Dark Souls, you could parry attacks from creatures at least 2.5 times your character's size, so I think my post would be viable?

Can you? I think the biggest thing you can parry is Berenike knights, which are around 8 foot tall. You can block like anything though.

And yeah i'm just gonna wait a little bit to see what Raen decides to do.
I suppose from now on people should post an OOC "pass" if there's nothing for them to do this turn.
Just so we know when Nobody can advance us to the next one.
Garrok was pleased to hear the crunch of metal on bone and to see the creature staggering under his attack, but it was apparently too tough to be seriously harmed by it. When the axe came swinging towards him, his first instinct was to block, but that wouldn't do without a shield. The weapon was too long for him to get out of reach, but there was another way. Greataxes are far more powerful than the swords that humans prefer, but they have one big weakness that Garrok had become familiar with over the years. He reluctantly dropped his improvised flail with a loud thunk and dashed forward, out of the trajectory of the shining silver axe head. There, he spun towards the creature's oncoming swing, put his arms out and braced for impact. When the weapon reached him, the shaft hit his hands with surprising force, but it was only blunt force. The swing didn't stop for him and instead he was swept off the ground for a mere moment and flung off several yards to the side, out of the creature's range. For a moment he feared the beast's follow-up attack, but was relieved to see it turn around.

He clumsily crawled to his feet, ignoring the road rash on his back, and took a moment to rub the painful palms of his hands. The rodent-like creature was the monster's new target, but Garrok wouldn't risk going for the ball and chain again just yet, in case the creature would suddenly turn around. From the chatter it appeared one of his incidental allies may have set up a trap of some sort, so for now he just awaited what would happen next, hoping for a better opportunity to attack.
It'll be fine, i've found a way to get him to de-aggro on me.
And lol, Joe put the witch in a cage. She can probably fit between the bars though, unless it happens to be Jeremy's cell.

Edit: Speaking of Jeremy, got any ideas for him to contribute to the fight? I suppose we could throw him onto the creature's head, but without a weapon that wouldn't do much good.

@Lalliman Good point, though I was following up my post on IN's previous post. Perhaps the beast could have taken a few steps before getting charged by Garrok? Since IN had already stated that it was going after Kenzo
@KurtyKool I think IN described the monster as having pale skin, which means its not covered in hair

Well, he made an if-statement. "If the monster was able to (...) with the rage of an axe murderer."
That means, if i'm not mistaken, that it only turns around if both Maybird and Garrok are no longer in direct combat with him as a result of the swing. If that prerequisite isn't met, the creature's next action remains unconfirmed and we'll have to wait for IN to state what it does next.

And yes if the creature had fur it'd be mentioned. Though there's no mention of it being bold, so it might have hair on its head.
@Mikellh Ironically, you did an auto-hit in the first paragraph, not the last, when you said the dagger got stuck in its leg. In the arena, whether or not an attack hits is always up to the defender. It is a very reasonable assumption though, so you could ask ImportantNobody to permit it this time.

More problematic is the last two paragraphs though, where you assume the creature to turn around and chase Kenzo, while the second prerequisite for that (Garrok getting out of the way) hasn't been met yet. Garrok may have no choice but to charge forward into his attacker in order to dodge the axe, which would change the creature's future actions.
Rping with so many people can be quite confusing

@KurtyKool The creature is only 4 feet taller than Garrok, so fitting between its legs is unlikely. He could try to duck, yes. I'll think about it a little more, cause having it aggro on Kenzo would certainly be beneficial.

@Lalliman hopefully Garrok has something he can do to block the swing! The swing's reach is far too long and Garrok isn't fast enough to be able to dodge it. Think of something! XD

Collision seems inevitable. However, it's an axe, not a sword. If i go forward instead of backward, i'll get hit by the shaft instead of the blade, which is still painful but obviously preferable. Besides, the closer i am to the axis, the weaker the impact, because physics.
Yup, i picked up the ball and chain and intend to use it! I also took the liberty of interacting with your character, just lemme know if you prefer i didn't. I figured Jeremy might be too afraid to dodge in time, since this is the first encounter.
Number 1000 is still out there somewhere, but 2000 and 4000-7000 have unfortunately gone inactive. As have 1234, 4321 and 1337. It seems you're one of the last of your race. The race of funny numbers.
As Garrok followed the tiny witch and the rest of the group towards the first door, he took a quick peek into each of the opened cells, looking for some kind of improvised weapon. Only a fool would fight with his fists when given the option not to. Some of the cells had buckets or little wooden stools in them that didn’t look very promising, but at the last moment he spotted a ball and chain lying on the floor, its shackle opened. He quickly ducked down and snatched it up by the chain. It would make a clumsy weapon, but at least it was heavy and swingable.

When the door swung open and the monster was revealed, Garrok didn’t waste any time. Any other orc might have charged the thing, but he at least had the sense not to directly attack something that big. At the last moment he suddenly remembered the child, not the witch but the other one, who seemed so defenseless. While he had no particular reason to care for these strangers, he felt that as a knight of sorts he ought to protect the weak. With his free arm, he grabbed the child by the collar of his ragged clothing and lifted him up like one would lift a bag of potatoes, before running off to the right to avoid the monster’s swing.

With long strides, he ran forward and to the right, avoiding the downward smash and putting himself in a flanking position. There he unceremoniously set the kid back down and without further ado turned towards the pale giant. Now is as good a time as any, he thought, and charged forward to swing the heavy iron ball at the creature’s side, now that it was hopefully still distracted.
