^ I approve. That's this threads themesong from now on.
Despite the resemblance, it's not the same as hell. They've been kidnapped and brought here, just like in Wizard's Dungeun. In Redden's case he could have somehow been captured on purpose. It might be this is an alternate timeline where Redden was possessed by a minor demon, thus his decreased powerlevel, and intends to absorb Asmodeus instead to become more powerful.
Phew, okay, good. I've been getting a little too worked up lately. Could use some lessons from Mr. Sunshine i suppose
Anyways, i like the character. Muttonstaches and fisticuffs for the win. Merely human physically, but very skilled in a bunch of things, so he should fit right in. Consider him accepted. I am suddenly tempted to incorporate giant wasp enemies at some point though...

So uhm, i'm gonna get some rest now. I'm looking forward to seeing ImpNob's and TheBiddz' CS's too.

I put all of his abilities below the current world records for everything but speed. I put that at Cheetah speed because apex predator.

Oh i know that, i'm well aware of what humans are capable of. However, while the lifting record is about 1000 lbs and the sprinting record about 25 mph, no one comes even close to doing both. Should that be taken into account? I'm not sure. It's somehow only now dawning on me how unclear of a term "peak human abilities" is. God, i feel like i've been doing nothing but giving people misleading information for the past few days.

Lemme clean the slate and set this straight once and for all, i'm looking for characters of above-human ability, but not significantly so. The lower half of tier 3, i would say, even though the Multiverse tiers are kind of outdated nowadays. In my mind that's where Captain America falls, though it depends on which iteration you're looking at.

In return though, i'm lifting the restriction that they need to be a weapon user of some sort. Upon further thought, that rule seems unnecessarily restricting. That means that for you, Nobody, a nerfed version of Redden would be acceptable. For you, LeeRoy, if you still think Yama falls within the intended power level, i'll reevaluate him tomorrow morning and perhaps i'll let you use him anyways. Tomorrow though, cause i don't trust myself to make any significant decisions after 11 pm.

I swear this is the last time you guys will be forced to switch threads or switch characters or switch whatever. I'm getting tired of my own fuck-ups the last few days.
Ahum, i saw your new CS while i was typing this, LeeRoy. I've only skimmed it for now, but it looks good so far, and far more compatible with the RP. Gimme a moment to really read it.
He seemed more powerful than Captain America to me at first sight, but i guess when you get into the practical matters, he isn't all that overpowered, as a good hit to the head can still kill him. The bigger problem is his incompatibility with the premise of the RP, don't you think?

About the meat of the RP, i've got the first part planned out already, so we can start as soon as we have 4 people with accepted characters.

Edit: Also, as a comic book character, Captain 'Murica's abilities tend to fluctuate. Some of the comics have him bench pressing 2000 lbs, which is supernatural in every way but in name. When i say peak human abilities, i mean more like the realistic peak, rather than the way comic books sometimes portray it.
Damn, Yama sounds like something that escaped from the Dead Space universe. Very cool character. He might not be very suitable for this RP though. For one, he seems too powerful, with his exceptional self-healing on top of his great strength and superhuman speed. Check out the character guidelines tab in the first post and you'll see that the characters are intended to be of a fairly low powerlevel. Secondly, he doesn't use any weapons or armor (assumably), which undermines the sort of loot-and-scavenge-based gameplay i was going for.

It could be argued that his lack of using equipment makes up for being innately more powerful, but... still. I could consider letting him in, perhaps with a few nerfs, but you said you had another character, right? One who's suspiciously trustworthy. Perhaps that one is more suitable?
Lol, you could've put a little more explanation on the matter Bobo.
Basically, Bobo and i tried to start our similar RPs at roughly the same time. ImportantNobody knows this, he was there. Back then i figured i'd let Bobo go first, but upon further examination he's rather inexperienced in this field, so we decided that i'll go first after all. The reason mine is still unupdated is cause we decided this late at night (where i live that is) and i figured i'd update it the next morning. The thread will be back to functionality in a minute. Anyone interested, please post your CS's here.

Edit: Oh hey TheBiddz, lemme update my memory. You were the one with the really creepy Sonic the Hedgehog avatar right? That thing still haunts me sometimes.
You can always use someone untrustworthy, as long as he isn't constantly backstabbing the other party members.
Lol, did you actually read the first paragraph? They're forced into it, by an evil wizard who put them to sleep and then locked them in here.
Well hello, LeeRoy. This is still kinda under development, but you're free to join, it could use someone as passionate as you. I was just discussing the power level with Boboclown but he hasn't answered yet. I think it's safe to assume that this uses the same power level as the RP it's based on (ImportantNobody's Wizard's Dungeun), which means Captain America is a good pick for a no-magic character.
