History: Halliq was born to a small tribe on Kalee, Asphirin, growing up the standard way of life for a Kaleesh man. The first notable event within his life was when he participated in a raid on a nearby tribe, proving his worth as a sniper. He reaped plentiful bounty with his tribesmen, using all that they could to further their own tribe. For many years, this was the case until the newly formed Galactic Empire intervened in a raid, helping a rival tribe to Halliq's own.
The new laws imposed by the Empire had greatly upset Halliq's tribe as it interfered with their way of life as they could no longer attack their rivals as it would be seen as piracy should they continue. For a time, they abided by these laws.
That was until one of the members of the tribe became seen as a traitor to the Empire and associated with the Rebels that sought to oppose the Empire's rule. They requested the acquisition of the suspect or dire consequences would fall upon the small tribe. The tribe so kindly responded by killing the messenger along with two of his bodyguard before letting one escape. It was a mistake to have killed those Storm Troopers as it painted an incredibly large target on all the tribe, however, they prepared themselves. In an attempt to let the women and children escape, the tribe contacted the rebel alliance thanks to the original traitor, Seleen Mardra.
The Rebel alliance arrived to shuttle anyone willing off world, unfortunately, Halliq would not participate in the last stand of his tribe as he was requested to go with the women and children to keep them safe. He obeyed and went them, where the refugees were sent to different cells of the Rebellion for their own safety and promised they would be able to reform when the time was right. Halliq saw this as a chance to fight the Empire, a chance he didn't get to see with many of his tribesmen, thus being welcomed to the Rebellion.
Halliq had been deployed from cell to cell, never really seeing any combat until, luckily, he found himself upon The Keep where he was added in the Kanada’s First Platoon as a replacement for the many losses within the Platoon. He has not been available for the raid at Anaxes due to him being processed into the platoon and his new squad.
<Snipped quote by Lauder>The role of Recon was originally conducted by infantry before some genius decided to dedicate soldiers to that purpose. In fact, in WWII, every squad had two soldiers who were dedicated as "Scouts". Their function in the squad was to provide early warning to the squad or platoon during movement.
Would you be interested in taking on one of the squads that are already listed? We can delete my NPCs and add yours. Then when the platoon is deployed, your squad gets all the action because the other three squads are NPC. Currently, the squad or "section" consists of six men lead by a sergeant (section leader) and Corporal (assistant section leader). The other four members are LMGunner, Grenadier and two riflemen.
