Pilot

Name: Rohnosc Rastun
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Height: 5'9
Weight: 170 lbs
Rank/Title: Overseer Agent
Special: Rohnosc can detect fluctuations and changes in timelines.

Bio: The Great Slam, a cataclysmic event that merged countless worlds into one, incoherent mess. Time and space became chaotic, twisted beyond recognition. After this event, a faction called the Chronal Overseers formed. Stationed on various worlds, the Overseers would send an agent to a particular universe and/or timeline to alleviate whatever problem it's causing to the already damaged spacetime continuum. They act as a neutral party, only interested in establishing order to a chaotic cosmos. Rohnosc, who was eight at the time and would later be one of their finest agents, was found in the slums by a wandering scouting patrol. Picking up massive temporal energies surrounding the boy, they took him into the base. For years they've trained him and while they were at first disappointed at his lack of more overt powers over time, the Overseers appreciated his piloting abilities and his acute sensory abilities concerning spacetime structure. At present, he pilots the Astafanel, one of the Overseers' advanced mechs. Acting as one of their agents, he now hunts for unruly anomalies gnawing at the fabric of the universe, but his mission might become more than he bargained for...

Mech

Name: Astafanel
Type: Super
Dimensions: 30 meters in height
Weight: 2500 tons

Stats

Strength: 35
Armor: 30
Firepower: 30
Performance: 55
Mobility: 50
Energy Output: 60
Sensors: 40

Description: The Astafanel is one of the Overseers' top-of-the-line Chronoframes, which focuses on speed and maneuverability. Its already high speed is supplemented by its ability to slow down time, making the Astafanel nigh-untouchable. It can also reverse time on itself, reverting the Chronoframe to a period in time before it was damaged. The Astafanel's power source is a Temporal Energy Reactor, which channels energy from alternate dimensions. In the hands of any skilled pilot, the Astafanel would be a formidable machine but in the hands of one with great amounts of temporal energy like Rohnosc, its potential is almost limitless.

Also, like any Chronoframe, it can warp into another star system and/or timeline.

Weapons

Optic Beam Cannons: The Astafanel fires concentrated blue-green beams from its eyes to pierce through enemies.

Wrist-mounted Beam Cannons: Similar to the optic beam cannons above, but is explosive instead of piercing.

Entropy Blades: Channeling power from the Astafanel's reactor, these blades have the ability to age anything they touch, making the act of cutting through enemies easier. The effect of this varies, depending on the material.

Existence Reversal Cannon: The Astafanel's chest opens up, revealing a large cannon. This weapon channels the most power from the reactor and fires energy that reverses the time of those it hits to a point where it didn't exist. However, the Astafanel has to charge it for ten seconds before firing it and remains stationary while doing so. In addition, the time abilities listed below can't be used during the process of charging this weapon. It can only be used once per day.

Abilities

Time Slow: Slows down time for the Astafanel, reducing the speed of everything around it by half. This effect lasts for ten seconds and there is a minute-long delay before it can be used again.

Time Reversal: Reverses time solely for the Astafanel and reverts itself to a point before any damage was taken. This can be used only twice per day.

FTL and Time Travel: The Astafanel can warp into another system and/or another timeline via its Spacetime Warp Engine. It needs the proper set of coordinates for a successful jump.
Black Rock Shooter - Client World 576143290-B

Black Rock Shooter gritted her teeth as her blade clashed against her enemy's newly-formed weapon. As he pushed back, she lost a little ground, skidding back along the sands. However, the Otherself had certainly faced dangerous enemies before. She leaped back suddenly, in a bid to set her target off-balance when he was no longer pushing against something. Regardless of the outcome, her black katana snapped up swiftly as she prepared to either block or slash at the man in the dark armor. Internally, she contemplated changing to a single-handed style and calling Rock Cannon back...

But that could wait until she was certain of her enemy's next move and how she could counter it.

Kiba barely manages to avoid losing his footing, having pulled back at the last second before stumbling. His ability to read the subtle cues in an opponent's body language is often times useful. Seeing that his enemy is waiting for him to make the first move, Kiba decides to oblige her. He goes for a high speed thrust, rushing towards her with the tip of his energy blade pointed right at her torso.

Black Rock Shooter winced as her shot exploded. He'd managed to counter at the last second... As the smoke flowed around her, she calmly shook her head. Rock Cannon was a useful weapon, but it seemed that she would have to counter him in melee from the looks of things... the massive black barrel dissipated into blue lights, just as the glinting black blade of her katana materialized in her opposite hand. Clutching the hilt in both, she erupted forward, breaking into a sprint. She burst out of the smoke just as it cleared, the blade pointed directly at the enemy's chest!

Seeing his enemy burst out of the smoke with the intent of impaling him with her sword, Kiba once again gathered his power onto his right hand, but this time he shapes it into a blade. He responds to his enemy's charge by blocking her strike with his own weapon. He then attempts to push her back and make her slightly stumble, which would result in an opening.
Alright, done
Nope, Black Rock Shooter's an aggressive fighter who has no qualms about trying to go for the kill against foes she's specifically not trying to keep alive.

... And it wasn't your decision to make. You don't have to let her plan succeed even if the pushing him away would probably work. He could back off or something.

Ok then, I'll edit out the part where she disappears and just have it end with the explosion

Is that fine?
Laughing Matter, you kind of powerplayed to make Black Rock Shooter run away there. And, I mean, that was only going to be the follow through if she got enough room.

Oh, I thought she was going to actually retreat there for a better position
Black Rock Shooter - Client World 576143290-B

Black Rock Shooter's arm snapped up immediately, the huge barrel of the immense gun immediately interposing itself between her attacker and herself. The fist struck, hard, and sand flew up in clouds of dust as the otherself skidded back across the sand. Digging her feet in, she pressed back. In spite of her slight and unimposing figure, as an unreal being embodying the psyche of a human she possessed attributes far beyond what one would expect from a girl of her size. Gritting her teeth, the black-haired girl pushed back and poured her strength into the effort, her feet digging into the sand. Knock him back the length of Rock Cannon.

It was a surprising amount of strength from one so frail-looking, for her to be able to push him back like this. However, it took all of the girl's strength to do so. She wouldn't last long in close quarters. Before Kiba could press his advantage, his opponent began to fire her weapon yet again.

Aim.

Fire. There was little that could survive a point-blank shot.

Immediately, he gathers energy onto his right hand, clenched into a fist and now giving off a pulsing dark red glow. In a fraction of a second afterward, he points his fist at the oncoming blast, opens it into a palm, and fires his own energy blast at the blue orb. When the dark red projectile collided with the blue energy sphere, a great explosion occurred. He braced himself for it, arms crossed into an X. The smoke cleared in a few seconds, and Kiba's armor is cracked in several places, with much of the forearm areas gone.

"Bit of a close one there."

Black Rock Shooter - Client World 576143290-B

There girl was unsure. Black Rock Shooter did not believe this. Why would these people abandon a girl in a coffin in such a way? Why would any of this had happened? So, she calmly stepped forward. Gripping Rock Cannon tightly, she raised the immense black barrel towards the one who had first made the violent threats, the armored man. There was not the slightest hesitation in the otherself’s mind. To kill others was something that the black-haired girl simply accepted, there were some cases in which it had to be done.

A blue glow ignited within the barrel and swelled, before erupting outwards in an orb of blue light, hurtling towards the armored figure.

Immediately noticing the blast of blue light, Kiba dashed to his left to dodge the energy sphere. He then looks toward the source of the blast and notices a black-haired girl armed with a rather immense gun.

"So, firing the first shot. Looks like you've sealed your fate."

He proceeds to close in on her as fast as he could, becoming a blur of speed to the onlookers. Once Kiba got close enough, he delivers a right hook aimed right for her face.
Rastun grumbles in frustration over the news report. This is absurd, how many cities are they going to ruin before they get something done? The only bright side to all of this is that it's nowhere near as bad as the Carbombya debacle. Frankly, he doubts that could be topped and hopefully it never will be. Nonetheless, this recent Shanghai event is giving him a headache.

"I know a little collateral damage here and there can't be helped, but it looks like we're not even trying to keep it down. Though I suppose this is more on Inferno than the rest of us."
In a faraway universe...

There exists a planet of machinery and circuitry, completely composed of metal down to its very core. It has consumed entire worlds at several points, leaving them as shattered corpses, their remains scattered across space. Great gas giants, dwarfing their more solid brethren, weren't safe either. Tendrils of steel drained whatever resources existed within their misty surfaces. Even the stars themselves fell prey to it. Great machines, constructed from the pieces of the dead worlds it consumed, surrounded the suns it planned to devour, resembling a feasting swarm of locusts. They weren't fully drained, at least not instantly. The steel planet slowly leeched power from them, a steady consumption. It continued to expand its reach, going from little more than a dozen enslaved suns to eventually millions of subjugated stars. On the night skies of several billion worlds, the dimming of the stars was seen by their inhabitants. Those advanced enough to truly see what was happening were both amazed and horrified at the scale of it all. To them, it was as if a god reached out and blotted out their skies.

However, beneath all of this metal and wires and silicon, lay a singular driving will responsible for the mechanical world's all-consuming hunger. This consciousness was once flesh and bone, though still godlike compared to most anything in the universe. He had destroyed entire worlds and the people foolish enough to step into his path were wiped out as if they had never been. Until one day on an insignificant backwater planet, a monkey with an aura of gold defeated him utterly, sending him into that planet's sun. He had to thank the fool though, since if it wasn't for that debacle, his apotheosis would have never occurred. There was no better way to display gratitude than turning the monkey, along with the prince of primates, as batteries to power his great body. They are now empty husks, and have been so for the longest time, but that no longer matters when the stars themselves are under his command. His power was not the only aspect which increased, however. When he takes a world, he takes everything from it, including their technology. The knowledge he gained matched the energies powering him. With this knowledge, he will soon have the power to cross over to new universes. He will send his avatars, silver androids shaped like his former self, to these worlds as he did to other planets before and sweep away all resistance, taking delight in the inhabitants' horrified expressions, for there is still enough left of his past self to do so.

Soon, nothing will be out of reach.
