Maybe I should go to the infirmary. But what if it’s nothing? I mean, with the fighting and stuff the place is probably filling up with people much more in need of help. Maybe I’ll jump in over a few days. he knew it was an excuse he told himself. He would never go to the infirmary. Never the less he looked rather puzzled at his arm. But then lowered it again and smiled at Jeanne. “I’m fine, thanks for asking.

But his self-confidence began to ebb away. He was already an Adrenaline Addict. His body had formed itself to that in the past few years. That meant that even with the littlest bits of excitement his body began to make the stuff. The advantages were often that he didn’t think about self-esteem or stuff like that for a moment. The drawback was that that effect vanishes over time. And that was what happening now. “I-I’m sorry.” He then said. He was getting it all together and realized to who he was talking. Heroics (Medieval-Fantasy Based NRP)

Anita had just returned from the warm baths. She and Imast took their seats next to eachother. Soon the Templars followed, yet one still remained at the weapons. This was the first time the Templars had removed their helmets and armor. Underneath they were clearly different in face and hair. After that the maiden of Lady Anita. The Templars ate in silence. Only Imast spoke, and it was for Sarin. “Please do apologize the one Templar guarding the Shrine. The weapons there are rather valuable.” He explained. Hoping it would be sufficient. Then he continued eating a giant fish. Then Anita took the word. “I must confess, my Lord. I’m intrigued by your country. What could you tell me about your people?” she asked him.

When Ryuu shouted ‘Bully my ass, woman!!!’ David shouted: “wowowowow!” in a rather afraid matter. His body’s reaction was different however. Instead of jumping back or covering his face with his arms he put his right, blackened hand in front of him. As if whatever would be coming it stopped. The light particles had stopped gathering around his arm. And the skin slowly regained its normal color. “Easy, Ryuu! It wasn’t very polite to say such a thing.” David then tried to reason with Ryuu. But he probably wasn’t listening as he turned away.

He then turned to the girl that was hiding behind him. “Oh, no problem. I’m David. Pleased to meet you. My apologies for my friend Ryuu. He can be …”

“…over-excited.” He then finished his sentence. “You okay?” he then asked, forgetting about how his arm looked so weird just moments ago.
First he listened to what Jeanne would say. After that he would stand next to her so he could see her and Anedine who was talking about the boy. He does look down. I wish I could do something about that. Alas, I’m probably not the best person to go talk to him. Besides, it would be rude for Jeanne. he thought.

@NK, I think i got Ninja'd (if my definition of being ninja'd is correct (posting too slow so another person posts before you but you don't notice it so when you post stuff doesn't make sense)). Should i let it slip or should i change my latest post?

"I'm David." he said with his usual smile. He then looked from Cortez, who was holding her hat, to Anedine who seemed to cover her face up.

Shit, I probably did something wrong. Maybe i got a giant pimple on my forhead. Still, doesn't explain the weird expressions a few seconds back. Damn it, what is wrong with me? Hey...where do those lights come from? I didn't summon them!? Wait...those aren't silver. Nor golden...what the hell? Wait a second. Why are they all orbitting my arm? he thought.

Then he looked down at his arm and noticed the black skin and purple glow. With a faint, near whispering voice he said: "What the hell?" in a rather confused matter. But then he realized two ladies and Ryuu were standing near him. Quickly he hid his arm behind his back, trying to hide his blackened arm in a most visible way.

Anedine knows. She knows. That's why she's hiding her face. She thinks i'm a monster. Ryuu noticed too. He doesn't seem to care too much. Then again, he blew his room up several times over and made a lightsaber. I doubt a little black skin with purple veins would be special for him. Wait, the red-headed girl doesn't know yet. Oh god don't let her notice it. he thought in panic.

"You alright, Anedine?" he asked with a sheepish smile, trying to look innocent. He did look a little innocent right now. After the answer of Anedine (if she gave one) he'd turn to the pirate-girl. "And what's your name?" he asked.

David didn't know what to do when the fight broke out. He just stood there with his mouth open in shock. Then Ryuu flew away. The first time. He wanted to run to him. Checking if everything is okay. But somehow something was boiling inside him. A sort of energetic excitement that was getting the better of him. He could barely understand what was happening next. But he did see Ryuu fly away again. This time Anedine went to him. Right. I should see if i can help them. Also, mental note. When all this calms down. Tell Ryuu that his lightsaber is awesome! he thought as he followed Anedine. She started giving CPR. David just looked around nervously. Hoping no attackers appeared. When Ryuu awoke they all went to the hallway. A wise plan, according to David.

Eventually they reached the hallway. "You guys alright?" he asked to both of them. What David didn't realise however was that black and purple tiny particles were flowing towards his right lower arm and hand. His skin on his arm turned into black and his veins glowed a faint purple. But he didn't notice that. He first cared for Anedine and Ryuu.

David watched as the petit girl started to shift expressions in a rather weird way. What is she trying to do? Maybe she’s observing me? Don’t be stupid! She’s probably reading your mind. Or casting a silent spell or something. What if she can control me like a puppet master? Oh god I don’t want to be a puppet! he thought. Yet his expression barely shifted from the smile on his face. “I’m David. Pleased to meet you.” He said. He lifted his arm a little waiting for her to shake it. What if she doesn’t shake it? What if this is an insult where she comes from. Oh god, this doesn’t bode well. Why can’t I stop thinking!? but he knew why he was thinking. He was thinking because he was nervous. He could see and feel the aura of Ryuu. That same, near-murderous aura the Otaku had in the morning when he destroyed his cellphone. Ryuu, we might become best buddies and even brothers in the future. But this morning you threw a cellphone in the ground and destroyed it completely. I’m not going to let you take any chances with this girl…at least tonight. he thought to himself. He was always a protector. Never the less he did feel fear. Ryuu destroyed his room…several times over. What would David be able to do if all hell broke lose?
