The answer intrigued her, she had heard about Shima but never been there and found it interesting that the clan had people on some sort of quest. This could be exactly she needed, and what a perfect time for it to be happening. Mentally she thanked the gods before she began to put up her guitar and chuckled to herself for a very brief moment before speaking up. "Alright I'll tell you what you need to know, and as well as give use the pattern I've found to help you find your relics. But only if you'll take me with you. Having people with me will allow me to travel easier and farther with less to worry about. I also just love adventure and this sort of quest could really help me in terms of musical inspiration. I'm sure their Lord wouldn't mind me tagging along for a while." This was a chance she couldn't pass up so she wasted no time is trying to make it the focus of the deal. She was sure it would be very easy to convince Gin to let her tag along, but she wasn't sure about the old lady just yet. Either way she knew the information she held was very valuable so there was no doubt in her mind that eventually they would agree, and so she just continued to give a sweet peaceful smile.
Gin is too busy with his blush overload anyway
Kiko was enjoying the brief conversation when she noticed an elderly tengu walk up behind Gin. Given what she said she quickly understood that they were together but without any specifics, she made her own assumptions. She looked back at Gin and smiled, especially since he was blushing and didn't want to not address him. "That is a very nice name Ginkoruma, I'll be sure to mention you by name in one of my future songs. I'm sure I can think of a nice melody in honor of my cute new friend " She turned her focus back to metou while keeping up her smile. "His grandmother I presume?" it was her guess given the age difference on display. "This land is filled with all sorts thievery and other crimes, such things happen constantly. But I will say a pattern has seemed to form, especially regarding the possibly corrupted person. My travels sends me all over, and some places have begun mobilizing over such things and banning outsiders from their territory. So depending on how specific you wish to get, I can likely provide the information. First though I need information myself, which clan are you from or working for. I need to know who I am dealing with and it will help me adjust the pattern I've noticed by knowing what is the closest case of said thievery." with conversation taking a more serious tone she placed her guitar at her side before reaching around to pull up a black case for it.
The woman was still minding her own business when Gin and Metou found her, paying them no mind until the half-Oni approached her. "Hmm?" She looked up from her guitar and towards the short boy with a raised brow. He looked a little different from the boys she was used to seeing and when he talked she got a glimpse of his teeth that explained a little more. She smiled when he asked his question, the kind of question that a kid would be blunt enough to ask. "Well I wouldn't say that, but it's not completely wrong. I life in the Isles and have for many years, but I'm sure the people in this area wouldn't consider me one of them. As for what I'm sitting on it is simply a tool for my music, a rather unremarkable device I brought with me. It allows me to play at full capability as well as powers my other trinkets, mere compensating for the region I am currently in." She explained in a gentle voice before turning the conversation to him. "You can call me Kiko, perhaps improper to ask you to call me that but I have my reasons. What about you, you are different from most of Ru want to tell me about that? And were you merely curious about my device, or did you want to hear a little show?" Young people were always curious about the music she played so she felt it was a good thing to ask since he had already broken the ice.
Up to you. If you want to post do so, if you want me to I will
Mind you there are actually wolf people too, just they are very uncommon and are the result of dogs and wolves suddenly being infused with large natural mana (like falling into mana vents) and coming out as dog boys and girls.
Just meant to add more stuff to the first page a while ago but for various reasons didn't, so starting back up
a thingy

Some real dork stuff going on
Takumi was about to leave to do his own thing, only to be stopped by another member of the group. While Kenji wasn't annoying like Jiang he didn't want to end up in some others person's problems so soon after ending one. But since he couldn't exactly blow the people off he simply smiled as he turned to respond to the man. "Yeah, well he's a bit too excitable. I operate by slipping by and not drawing attention to myself so his personality isn't really one I work well with." he tried to phrase it in an honest but hopefully not offensive way. When Kenji asked about the inn, Takumi figured it was his chance to avoid having to hang around anyone and decided to explain. "A new lead is there, someone from Shima that apparently already talked to Ru about things. Jiang wanted to make sure he wasn't an imposter and if not than they had important things to talk about. So I guess that is the current gameplan for the Shima group, deal with that guy." He didn't know if Kenji would want to go handle that too, but had hoped so he could have his full time to focus on things he needed. He was going to be traveling with this group for a long time, so he had plenty of time to try and be more friendly with them at some later point.
