So how many are you looking for, what's the power cap?

Anything above 4, if the player count gets too big we can just split it into multiple teams. Depends on the power really, but don't want to get any higher than city busters in raw destruction capability.

I'd be interested in this, as long as I could play as a Brazilian supermodel who gained the ability to turn her body to smoke at will after being exposed to an irradiated cigarette by a rival model.

The OOC

An Earth much like our own, but very different at the same time. One where the cold war turned hot and devastated many nations in the following battles but an uneasy peace eventually emerged. A world where ancient civilizations escaped their fate of decay and thrived in the modern era. Where magic and gods compete with the advances of science in both military prowess and everyday life. A world where metahumans and super soldiers have forever changed the face of war, and robotics continue to change it even more. There are many problems in the world, so many that most don't notice the bigger problems beneath the surface, things that threaten to destroy all that makes the world worth fighting over. Since most couldn't be bothered with it, a group emerged to face down such threats by whatever means necessary, to protect humanity and the earth at any cost.

This will be a super power based roleplay in an alternate Earth, one where world war 3 happened in the 80s and stopped at the discovery of seemingly hostile aliens. In the time since then the U.S. and the Soviet Union have been in an uneasy peace as they both prepare to repel an inevitable invasion. The world is similar to DC and marvel in that characters of magic origin like Zatanna and Thor exist alongside Iron Man type characters. The plot will be we play superhuman members of a multinational agency tasked with taking care of any alien presence currently on earth, the growing number of metahuman terror cells, agents of old gods, and other threats to humanity while the bulk of the worlds governments work on dealing with the future invasion. The roleplay will be a mix of military style missions and them responding to events either in the world or wherever they happen to be at (more traditional giant robot or monster attack etc)

Notable Skills: Her magical ability gives her access to a countless number of skills of which frequent use of allows her to retain. It is theoretically possible for her to one day use her powers to simply copy the skills alone on a whim.

At base she is most known for her excellent singing ability

Magical Abilities: She a mysterious connection to the spirit world, allowing her immense channeling abilities and access to souls. She is able to call upon the souls of anyone who has died on the islands, and see the full range of their memories and even draw others into memories of the past. She can channel the souls of females into her body, allowing them to speak through her and implant their memory and skills into her. Her connection allows her to almost instantaneously channel or access a spirit with a connection to someone and learn intimate details about them.

Ki Techniques/powers: None innately, but channeling someone with them gives herbody acess.

Personality: Known for her friendly and cheerful attitude, Eri is alot more fun loving and youthful than her sisters. While her upbringing means she can be a little arrogant in what she thinks of her family and her own position in the world. She is normally optimistic about much things, and even with the wars around her she thinks it will all turn out ok.

Brief history: Eri is the youngest of Ryuu Naji's daughters and is well known as his favorite child. Her mother died during childbirth leaving her to be fully raised by her siblings' mothers with no real knowledge of her birth mother. She had a normal early childhood for someone of her birth, until her abilities started to show up when she was 8 years old. Her father began to try to draw them farther out and once he and the family realized how extensive they were Eri was placed in special protection as they worked to learn more about them. As she grew older and was allowed to interact with others more she began to be a very important figure on her island, with all of her clan seeing her as an important spiritual figure. Currently she has the attention of a powerful Kitsune family who have taken her as a student so they can try to bring out her full potential and use it to unlock what they see as the secrets of the Isles, in exchange she is giving protection by one of the most powerful Kitsune sorceresses.

Other: A common belief people on her island hold is that her mother was a Kami.

Normally at her age she would be married or at least promised to someone by now, but she is kept unwed to focus more on her powers. Her family also believes due to her unique powers and status that she is too valuable to marry off to even clan leaders of most of the clans.

Both of them approved of her being with them, something that came as a pleasant surprise to Kiko. What wasn't surprising was that there were others that needed to approve, but with two people on her side she expected things would go smoothly for her. Since it sounded like the others were doing their own little missions in Ru she would be patient and not ask to go see them just yet. "Well I'll be staying here tonight, so whenever they are done with that you can bring them here to meet with me. I don't want to intrude on something as sensitive as their meetings with the leader here, so I'll wait here and get some rest or maybe even work on a new song. I'll be sure to let the two of you hear whatever I come up with." She would prefer going with them right away but felt it would be coming on too strong and seem suspicious, two things that would hurt her chances to get to travel with them. And then she would be stuck in her current situation, stuck playing music at random places and doing the best she could. With Shima representatives she could get a real audience and be right in thick of what was going on, something that would really help her.
