I've decided what to do. I'm going to have Sammy give a noncommittal response to Stabby's message and just leave it at that. Whatever their history, Samantha fled AW1 after the Curious Mr. Crowley died. A lot of good people died and she didn't help. Not sure how Stabby would feel about all that. Anyways, maybe Merle can drop in to contact Samantha again after this? I don't know, but one message from Dante isn't going to be enough to convince Samantha that it's time to don the cape again. So to speak.

I'm thinking what I might do, since I'm not a huge fan of collaborative posts, is have Sammy and Dante still be sorta kinda in touch. She'll get the message mentioned in Sigil's post and maybe consider visiting him? I don't know. It's kind of a weak thread but I also don't want to hold things up more than I already am. I'm going to try to get something up by the end of next week.

@Vahir I think the question was more about how far Oromis' army landed from Tolos. It can still be situated at the delta. Also, good luck with finals. Kick their collective asses!

Methinks three posts are in order then. The first one gets my little group ready to move south. The second one has them moving south and making the ram. And the third would be Myra and company taking the gates. Then craziness and violence ensues! Of course there would be other posts from y'all in between.

Hmmm...maybe if there haven't been many posts by the time I get back home I'll go that route. Might be fun if Sammy and Dante were still in touch somehow. Maybe. We shall see.

EDIT: Just realized I placed the beach a day and a half from Tolos. Hmmm...so maybe the watchtowers fall by sunset on the same day as the landing. Maybe, instead of having the penal battalions move ahead, Myra and the Forlorn Hope go with them to the forest to make the ram. So, I'm definitely making two posts. In the first one, Myra, the Forlorn Hope, and the penal battalions will have taken the watchtowers and will be readying themselves to march in the morning. The next post will deal with the journey to the forest outside of Tolos, the making of the ram, and that's it. I think that makes sense...

Okay...I'm trying to think how much time will have passed since the beach landing. Seems like a lot will have happened by the time I post. So, the boats landed at midday. I'm thinking these coastal watchtowers were poorly manned since the Prophet probably didn't expect an attack by sea. So, the Forlorn Hope and the penal battalions could probably have done all their work by nightfall. Maybe the penal battalions had further orders to press on into the forest, under cover of darkness, to begin work on the ram. Once it was about done they would go get Myra from the watchtowers where she's waiting for orders. The assault would begin at dawn.

My post would start with Myra waiting in the watchtower and Sweet Thond coming to get her.
