'Jeez... when are they going to leave..?' Hana watched silently the other trainers congregate on Route 1, hidden behind one of the larger trees nearby, and shuddering slightly in fear. She was just about to begin her journey across this new land her mom called Kanto with Arari, but when Hana noticed someone with an Axew approach from Pallet Town, the timid girl dove into the nearest cover on instinct. Now that more of them has come, there's even less of a chance she'll be coming out anytime soon.
There was a ruffling in the bush. "A-Arari..?" Hana whispered, as the noise seemed to come closer and closer. She began to inch towards the noise, hoping it was her cute little bunch of eggs. "Is t-that you, Arari..?"
"EEEK!" she shrieked, stumbling backwards as a Rattata rocketed out of the bush and towards the trainers, with her Exeggcute chasing after it.
An exhausted "phew" Sylvus gave when the dragon and the thing, now shaped like a person, wandered off towards the town and its possibly doomed inhabitants. When he heard the voice, vaguely human, came from behind him, Sylvus turned, only to encounter the crystal thing from earlier. Though, it seemed like it was trying to communicate to him this time, instead of approach him menacingly. "Oh! Er.." Sylvus stuttered, trying to recollect what it had said while he was still in shock. Taking a deep breath, Sylvus finally spoke. "N-No. I don't have a map, sorry. I'm not from around here, as well."
"Hm..?" Sylvus utters to himself, hearing the sound of rocks grinding coming closer. Grasping Durendal instinctively, the sword spirit turns and faces the crystal being, with his eyes narrowing. 'I wonder if this thing's friendly.. Maybe not. Weak humans like me don't exist on this plane, or something like that..' he thinks, only to have the thought shatter when the shadow of a dragon suddenly descends upon him, followed by a dark mass more horrid than the rest. 'That's.. definitely NOT friendly!' Sylvus shudders slightly, watching it manifest as he treads backwards.
A sword glowing blue plunged deep into the earth, blade first. 'Well. This is rather awkward..' Durendal thought to himself, stuck. 'I can't feel my arms or legs.. just cold. Maybe if I..' As Sylvus's consciousness dreamt, the faint light around Durendal flowed into an invisible mold of a humanoid silhouette, from which a young man with his hand on the sword materializes.
"Now THIS is much better!" he exclaims to himself with a sigh of relief, pulling it out of the ground. 'So.. where am I again?' Sylvus looks on to the town nearby, then to the purplish night sky above, then to the nightmarish creatures falling out of the sky as he did earlier.
Ari thought about how sudden the entire thing could be for him as they continued to walk down the path. She could tell him why she won't keep him, but it would only spark an unneeded argument. Suddenly, the Bronzong paused briefly, and looked towards a lake in the near distance. Ari raised a brow when she saw the Ninetails Gijinka she sees around town every so often, speaking with a few other Gijinkas and a Ralts. Sighing, she nudged Veyas and pointed in their direction, before turning around and heading back. "If I see you again, I'm not going to be as merciful." she said as she parted ways.
Maryn twitched, then lifted her head up slowly, after hearing a abrupt exclamation from one of the other students. She scratched her head a few times, then looked around the classroom. Suddenly, something clicked, and her eyes widened as wide as they could, before her head dropped back to the desk once more. "I can't believe I slept through class.. again.." the white haired girl mumbled to herself in her corner of the room. Sighing to herself, she wondered if Hector or anyone else had noticed. She was hoping for someone to be a nice person and wake her up, but apparently such is not the case. 'I really need to find someone to do that for me..'
Maybe I should make a female character just for good measure..?
Abel climbed up the building, following after Mohan, then took a brief moment to catch his breath. "Did anyone see the signal?" he said, placing his backpack on the ground. He looked over in the distance, seeing the rebels lay on the ground, defeated by the Honor Guard. "Hm.." Abel began scratching his hair in uncertainty.
((So.. ehm, should we wrap up our scenes quick so you can get on with the Missingno intro, Ace? Or should we just make it so that its turning to morning?))
"It's the closest place some Gijinka roam free." Ari replied, looking towards the path straight ahead, which was gradually getting rougher as they exited the city. "Pretty sure there's a Gijinka village somewhere around here, too.. but you'll have to find that on your own." When Ari noticed the sky's reddening hue, her pace quickened.
"I don't think so. Most of them are occupied with an apparently sentient doll.." Abel replies, his eyes looking towards the sky in thought. He sighs softly to himself, then continues, saying, "Though I would love to go and find out if it is true myself, I believe we have more pressing matters at hand."
