Shisen didn't mind the small talk between her and Maruki, it was nice to talk to someone every now and then but it also got tiring. As they approached the restaurant, she felt relieved that she would be regaining some of her energy back but before she could go any further, their sensei stopped her. She wasn't allowed to eat with them? That was more childish than her own actions, which were to ignore their sensei but it seemed that he thought differently and thus was punishing her for something that made no sense.

Rather than express her frustration, she simply said nothing, there was no recognition in her eyes that the thing that blocked her path to the restaurant was even human. Although, it was amusing that he expected her to find the new Genin that was placed in their squad recently, she couldn't believe he was sending her to find him. Still, saying nothing, she simply turned and left, after hearing what Maruki said of course. Was she really going to find Kino? No, but she had to at least act like she was and so she wandered around the village with no real purpose, only stopping to buy an apple and a treat for Arashi. It was thirty minutes later that she decided to head to the Inuzuka manner to look at the jutsu scrolls again, even though they wouldn't exactly see a reason to, she wanted to be useful.

Arriving at the manner was the same as it always was, being greeted with stares and meaningless hello's. Approaching the room with the scrolls, she paused and ran a hand over Arashi's back before entering the room, sitting down on the mat as she took out the first and started to read.
Shisen was more than happy to see the new kid, who she now knew as Kino, leave them alone. To be honest, she did not have anything against Kino personally, nor was she overly bothered by him. Shisen was just the antisocial, isolated and out spoken child, there wasn't any other way to describe her other than being socially unacceptable to most people these days. It was needless to say that she didn't adapt well to new people, in the time frame of two days, she had been thrown into a squad with people she didn't feel comfortable with and it was a lot for her to take in. Only to lose someone from her squad and having that person replaced with some arrogant Genin who probably was no better than she was.

On the edge of being self absorbed, her thoughts were interrupted by the swish of a blade and a snarl from her Niken. Her head jerked up from its downward position, to stiff and apprehensive of the sword that just barely missed her only to be a few inches away from her Nikens head. The thoughtful and passive blue eyes of hers now were wide and startled as she scrambled away from the blade, tugging her Niken as she got to her feet. "For one who would just as quickly harm his own squad, you're one to talk!" Shisen snapped as she glared at him. It probably wasn't the reaction he wanted but why would he expect her to just not do anything about being threatened? A very dark, angry part of her wanted to say something about how he let his own clan die and didn't do anything to stop it, but she managed to refrain from speaking such angry words.

What he said next might as well have fallen on deaf ears, she would have none of it as the anger and hatred of her sensei was still very clear and evident on her expression. Arashi was also angry, snarling at Kirugetsu and snapping at him but not getting too close. Shisens anger only made the Niken more angry, as neither took a threat lightly and even though one could threaten Shisen, her Niken was an entirely different story. To understand the depth of the bond between the two, one would have to have gone through what they did. Arashi was the only one that Shisen had left, the only who she trusted fully and those ties ran deeper than any blood relation could even hope to comprehend.

Although, at the same time, she could understand what Kirugetsu's point was. Arashi was a little over the top at some points but that to was understandable, her aggression came from fear that would take time to overcome. Shisen would work with Arashi, but not for her sensei, she would do it for Arashi and no one else.

After their sensei left, she sat back down on one of the cots as some of the anxious nurses came scrambling over to her and her Niken. Placing a gentle hand on Arashi's back to keep her calm while the nurses handled her injuries, she murmured words of encouragement and soft spoken words to sooth the Nikens nerves. After what seemed like an hour, Arashi was taken care of and left the nurses ready to tend to Shisen. She let them look over the scratches and bruises while she fidgeted every now and then but sat still for the most part. The fight with Maruki was nothing less of what she expected of him, it was tough and challenging. Finally the nurses finished with her and she was able to met up with Maruki and Kirugetsu.

Purposely ignoring their sensei as they found a place to eat lunch at and walked along side Maruki, he was not as bad as she thought he was yesterday. Definitely more to him than his overly friendly and polite surface, she was somewhat alright with him being in the squad at the moment. "I'm ok... I'm glad that we passed to..." Shisen said in return.
Shisen turned to look at the new Genin, at first glance, there was nothing special about him. Not even his arrow was impressive, it was after all just a pointy stick and sticks broke easily. Arashi lost interest in the Hyuga kid, seeing the new person and decided to check him out, heading over to him. The Niken sniffed at him, the occasional growl and snarl emitted from her throat but what Shisen thought was humorous was how the Niken greeted him. Which was with a bite towards the ankles, a mischievous glint in her eyes was enough to know that she didn't particularly care that he was snapped at.

She got to her feet, slowly, allowing a simple low whistle to escaped her chapped lips and her loyal Niken, came trotting over to her. Despite the aggression, Arashi was well suited to be a ninja hound and was quite loyal to her partner, Shisen. At the moment, Shisen was gritting her teeth due to the pain from the gentle fist and the previous fight. Not wanting to look like even more of a whimp than she most likely already did, she looked down at the ground for a moment.

Reflecting on her fight with Maruki, she could see where she lacked in the battle. Shisen lacked in her amount of learned Jutsu, the four legs technique was just as the name said it was, a technique. That left her with what? Only two half mastered Jutsu, her speed and brute force. She never told anyone this, but the remaining Inuzuka doubted her ability to become a Shinobi and doubted her logic as she picked one of the worse of toughest to work with Niken. Watching as the new kid helped Maruki on his feet, she coughed a bit to disguise her laughter as the new Genin was pushed away. With the Hyuga kid now walking next to her and then getting pelted with the remains of the rock that was once there, she was getting tired of the kid.

"Keep talking, brat.... We'll see how you like it... When Arashi crushes your throat..." Shisen said under breath as Maruki limped over to the new kid, who hadn't yet introduced himself to them. Of course, seeing how he was able to copy a Jutsu, wasn't bad but it didn't qualify as impressive to her.

Once at the hospital, she allowed the nurses to look her over and fix her up, the pain had decreased a good a bit. However better she may be, she kept a good bit of distance from the others and didn't even bother introducing herself. If he wanted to know her name, then he needed to ask and not expect everything to be handed to him.

Team Moon is still awaiting Marrow's post before we move forward.

^That
Shisen heard someone talking but her arms, her body hurt too much to move and then water was dumped on her. It took about five seconds for her to regain consciousness after that, with a groan she pushed Arashi away so she could sit up. Looking around she noticed that Maruki was still out cold and soaked as well, it would appear to her that Kirugetsu's method of waking them, was water. Her Niken was not happy, she was all wet and was glaring daggers at her sensei, Shisen didn't care to calm the Niken.

Upon listening to her sensei, she ignored everything except for the fact that they both passed. Rather or not it was good or bad, was opinion. She didn't particularly care for their sensei, in fact, she kind of hoped that he dropped dead. Getting up and wincing as the stiffness in her joints, she walked over to Maruki. Gently rousing him, unlike the spiteful sensei, she looked at his arms and flinched. She did that to him, impaling his one arm and hurting him.

"M-Maruki... Wake up..." Shisen said as she shook him again. Arashi had a slightly better idea, sniffing at him before nipping him on the ear. Shisen couldn't help the laugh as the Niken attempted to be gentle with the Hyuga kid, of course her version of gentle was to bite you on the ears. "Is it working, sweet girl?" Shisen asked the Niken, who barked loudly before pawing at Maruki.

So, their spiteful Sensei was trying to make up for being a jerk by taking to lunch? "You shouldn't bribe us....." Shisen said a bit irritably as she waited for the Hyuga kid to wake up. Her angry act, would have possibly be convincing, if her stomach hadn't growled just then and with a frown, she sighed. "Maruki... Wake up..." she said as she nudged him again. Her body was still stiff, the pain still present but for the moment, she was choosing to ignore it.

Once she saw that Maruki was coming to, she began to follow their Sensei to the nearest medical station and with Arashi right behind her. At the Medical Station, she looked over her Arashi's injuries and began tending to the Nikens injuries. She didn't really know how to tend to the chakra points being blocked, so she just sat down. Arashi, who got tired of being gentle with Maruki, remembered that he attacked her. Getting up, the Niken walked over to him and glared at him. Before biting him, roughly on the arm that wasn't impaled in both sides, shaking it roughly before letting him go. Barking at him sharply before snarling for good measure.

No more Ria-tropes? Thank fucking God. Erm... I mean... how sad.

Shut up, she was amusing. I also think that she will return when her life situation settles down some.
I think Masaki left me in charge of her character......
Shisen finally got up off the ground after being told that she failed the second part of the test, she had given it what she had and it wasn't enough. Her best, was not enough. She stood there, staring at the ground while her Niken growled and snarled at those who came near her. Feeling the soft muzzle of Arashi against her leg, she looked to the Niken and gave a small smile before placing her hand on Arashi's back. "Maybe next time...." Shisen murmured, before starting back towards her foster parents. Arashi whined the entire walk home while Shisen just stayed quiet.

Once they walked through the doors of the house that she had to live in, she saw two bright smiling faces watching her. "Hey, kiddo, how was your first today?" The old man asked her but her expression must have given her away as he said no more. She sulked into her room and threw herself on her bed in a frustrated manner before sniffling, today was suppose to be different but yet it felt the same to her. Shisen wanted to be recognizable but not if it meant being recognizable by being weak. She wasn't weak, she just didn't have the Jutsu's completely mastered yet.

"Arashi..." Shisen said and the Niken jumped up on her bed, laying down gracefully next to the upset Inuzuka girl. Burying her face in her Nikens soft fur, she cried silently until the door creaked open and the old woman walked in carrying a trey with sweet smiling drink on it. The old woman set the trey down on the small table in her room, before gently sitting on the bed next to Shisen. Pulling her away from Arashi and into her arms nicely.

"Shhh..... I know, I know" the old woman said gently and held Shisen until her crying turned to sniffles. "I was once in your position, I know it's hard and that you want to do well but that comes with time" she added as she brushed the last of the tears off her face.

"Time... What if I don't have time?" Shisen asked. She didn't want to hold her team back because she wasn't strong enough but she also didn't want to rush into things. This whole situation was not ideal, she just wanted to be on par with everyone else and she was so far behind.

"You have plenty time, don't rush into things" the old woman said gently and let her go. Placing the sweet drink into her hands before getting up to leave. Shisen looked down into the drink a bit confused at its purpose but started to sip it anyways, it tasted so good. Eventually, she drank it all up and found herself on the edge of sleep, the drink made sense now. It had been laced with a sleep syrup to calm her down and help her sleep, like she used to drink when she still had nightmares about the death of her parents. Groggily placing the cup back on the table, she let herself climb into bed and let sleep take her over.

*************

The next day, she woke up late and the panic set in like it always did. She didn't know where she was or why she was there. Everything fell into place a few minutes later as she realized that this was her foster place and that she had been in squad, passing the first part of a test and failing the second. The words of the old woman rung in her head as she got up to get dressed in another outfit. Trying to figure out what exactly to give Kirugetsu sensei so she wouldn't fail the whole test.

An idea popped into her head and she rummaging through her extra change, which was a lot, until she got enough to buy a particular item. Running out of the house with Arashi on her heels, she raced over to the Konoha Ninja Tool Facility to buy the newest sheath for a sword. After giving the money to the sales person, she went over to where she was suppose to meet their sensei. Upon seeing him in the training areas, she presmeted him with the nice sword sheath with a small smile.

"For you, Kirugetsu Sensei" Shisen said as she held it up to him proudly.
