Shisen didn't mind the small talk between her and Maruki, it was nice to talk to someone every now and then but it also got tiring. As they approached the restaurant, she felt relieved that she would be regaining some of her energy back but before she could go any further, their sensei stopped her. She wasn't allowed to eat with them? That was more childish than her own actions, which were to ignore their sensei but it seemed that he thought differently and thus was punishing her for something that made no sense.
Rather than express her frustration, she simply said nothing, there was no recognition in her eyes that the thing that blocked her path to the restaurant was even human. Although, it was amusing that he expected her to find the new Genin that was placed in their squad recently, she couldn't believe he was sending her to find him. Still, saying nothing, she simply turned and left, after hearing what Maruki said of course. Was she really going to find Kino? No, but she had to at least act like she was and so she wandered around the village with no real purpose, only stopping to buy an apple and a treat for Arashi. It was thirty minutes later that she decided to head to the Inuzuka manner to look at the jutsu scrolls again, even though they wouldn't exactly see a reason to, she wanted to be useful.
Arriving at the manner was the same as it always was, being greeted with stares and meaningless hello's. Approaching the room with the scrolls, she paused and ran a hand over Arashi's back before entering the room, sitting down on the mat as she took out the first and started to read.
