Richard Montag

It should have been a time for hurry, when all the chosen descended upon the city, resplendent in the gifts of their families and benefactors, to raise forth mighty spirits and lay claim to their chosen bastions. A time of uncertainty, when Master first meets Servant, and each assess the others place among their morals and schemes. None of this even began to scratch the surface of the sheer labor with which the Master's must acquaint themselves with the city and play their part in the imminent game of cat and mouse with several eager parties believing themselves more feline then rodent.

Fortunate then for Richard that he savored the evening air as the opening salvo rang, not in a flurry of rampant motion, but from the leisure of an open apartment window, a cigarette lowly burning between his clenched fingers. After all, he'd been in Blue Field three days already, unfettered by outside organization and free to move as he pleased, even if his family complained fiercely about the inevitable death and loss of their heir.

Nestled within one apartment of many, a complex whose occupants remained ignorant of the true intentions of their new neighbor, amenable as he and his Servant may be. He'd considered putting a bounded field over the entire building to encourage the other occupants to be a bit less nosy, but decided against it in the end. Suffice it to say I would be better served with neighbors to dissuade conflict then a barrier to stall it.

Having settled upon a simple ward scheme that contained any errant emissions he and his rugged companion might make, Richard felt quiet comfortable in the flat, not least of all because of the presence of a spirit of old
now borne again to fight for him. The summoning circle was little more then a series of smudges now, sanitized and covered up with a cheery throw rug. After all, he was paying for the apartment, so he may as well keep it tidy while he enjoys it.

He slid the window shut and snuffed out his cigarette in an ash tray in passing, only to reach into his coat and pull forth a car key which jingled merrily its freedom.

"It sounds like events are starting to roll into motion out there. I couldn't say I'm eager for the blood sport, but fancy a drive around town to see what's going on?" Richard asked, his voice carrying an undercurrent of ease unsuited to the monumental task at hand. He walked with a casual gait, passing by a trio of propane cylinders without a grill to house them as he made for the door. "Who knows? Maybe we'll meet a prospective ally on the streets? "

'Ello. Any open spaces here or are you too far along?

Despite Kanbaru putting actual effort into this fight, investing herself into a friendly spar between Dark Mahou Shoujo to determine who suffers the most over the holidays. Purely in spite of ever shit made and ounce of magic exerted upon the world. In contention of all that was fair and decent amidst the winter season.

Her opponent fled, leaving Chie to crash amidst a deserted field dotted with clusters of blackened ice. It was woefully anti climactic and Kanbaru couldn't help but glare in the general direction of the crash. Seconds turned to minutes and even her partner wasn't getting up. Now clearly she wasn't dead, or else Chie was so weak as to have been done in by Nightmares long before now, so Kanbaru was left shafted on the ice without any company.

"I should have stayed home. A few more hours of sleep beats this any day." Kanbaru groused bitterly and stuffed her hands into her pockets as she turned away. Yet before she could take a single step away from the bombastic excitement of the others over the hill- emphasis on bomb, given the flickering flames over the hill- She felt a familiar, undesired presence encroaching upon the park. "Of course. The only ones who come for a fight are them."

Her tone was cold, a tempered aggression shining in her cerulean eyes as she honed in one the presence of her natural enemy through terrain and obstacle. Ice splintered and cracked unbidden around her feet, her magic a wild whirl as she reached out and grasped it fully. The magazines of her pistols ejected with a clatter, skidding across the lake before fading into motes of energy, only to be replaced by the lake's water to rise from the cracks and stream inside the weapons.

"I don't need to be precise to send a message here." Fortuna declared as a gust swept back her hood and sent the tail of her coat flying wildly in the wake of her charging magic, till the culmination of energy reached a fevered pitch and she crossed the barrels horizontally.

"Shatter Point!"

What followed was a helix of dirty ice, a spiral of everything filthy that the Light Magical Girls came to gawk upon to make themselves feel vindicated in the righteousness of their cause. With the girth of a semi truck it stretched from arctic shooter out across the lake, sailing over tree and hill as it bored down upon the general vicinity of the intruding park goers with twin points prepared to skewer and shatter.
@KoL@TheWindel

So Chie's not going to react to being flung across the park atop a lamp post? Meh, alright.
Kanbaru Otoko

Her target, for that was all Wither was not that the fight began in earnest, didn't seem keen on closing the distance. Even as her bullets rained down and great spines of ice rose and splintered into a crystalline pine forest of razor sharp edges and impaling spines, Wither was content to respond at range in kind. The difference however became clear in the distance they fought and the speed of their projectiles, as the Icy Magical Girl saw the orb of decay coming and sharply stepped to the side, evading it with casual disdain as it slammed into the lamp post.

With it's light flickering off as the metal corroded enough for the internal wiring to die it seemed keen to snap under it's weight and fall, Chie and all. Fortuna glanced at her sedentary companion and took this as an opportunity to force her into action. Her gunfire paused briefly and she whirled back, the heel of her boot striking the corroded metal to snap the pole into two, only for her magic to raise a column of ice sharply against the jagged end and launch both pole and rider in Wither's direction. Though admittedly Kanbaru didn't put much thought about flinging her partner into a field of razors, but she assumed Chie had a landing strategy.

You still with us?

She does resemble a certain fishy swordsman, but having both brute strength, speed, and unparalleled evasion/defense as a constantly running passive portal beneath your feet is a bit much.

My knowledge of anatomy is only marginally better then that of Spanish, which is to say nil in either catagory, so I'll defer on that regard.

As for the Curse/Blessing, I'm not so much questioning the effect. Being able to see the location of anything you've pulled in for five minutes isn't unreasonable mechanic wise, but questionable from a logic standpoint. After all it's not like Nightmare's run away from danger so having a skill so apt for tracking fleeing prey seems odd for a magical girl skill set, but I guess just chalk it up to hungry sharks out for blood.
@Noxx
The sunken world (Passive): Wherever she steps the world under her feet changes into a portal to a decrypted ancient place that mirrors the above the world completely sunken underwater and nearly devoid of life. Unless Evelune is grabbing ahold of someone she is the only person who can enter that portal, this allows her to turn any surface into a swimmable one, the area she is directly under will also change into a portal that moves with her as she swims through the sunken version of the real world, though her speed in the water is nearly four times as fast as when she's on land. Additionally it should be noted that the portal that leads to the Sunken World can be expanded to a massive twenty foot radius around her body.

Not to make everything analogous to Naruto, but having a portal to a personal pocket dimension no one else can access constantly under their feet is damn near close to Tobi levels of absolute defense. That they can expand it to such a large degree, pull everything into an underwater battle with a 4x speed advantage to Evelune is also incredibly powerful, but it kinda pales in comparison to a constant escape hatch to survive any attack of any scale and launch herself back out at her leisure, speed boost or not.

Devil Arm:

At first it was a long scimitar forged of fine metals that held the force of a hundred tidal waves within each blow

That's some dangerous hyperbole right there. Should probably change that since the literal force of a hundred tidal waves is beyond the pale of any magical girl's wildest dreams.

I'd quote the entire Blood Manipulation power, as I don't think blood pressure has anything to do with Adrenaline responses. And Blood Manipulation is always iffy, even if this specifically describes it as a self buff only.

Test of soul / Undertoe: Eve can drag people under to the sunken world from the surface world if she has at least part of her body already submerged, only the person pulled and Eve herself can exit at this point and if the target can manage to fight their way to the surface they will be inflicted with a curse that will open a portal under their feet that which they themselves cannot enter but reveals their position to Eve for five minutes.

Why would a magical girl need a curse like this? Corrupted or not there powers are for fighting Nightmares first, and other magical girls second. Seems off to me, at least.

The background...is Chtullu cult made her evil by looking at a cosmic horror. I can't say with any certainty that cults of that nature exist in this world. More often then not the system of magical girl universes is rather limited in scope, but I'm in no shape to judge any farther in that regard.
