What's this about me? Anyway, my cs. Glad this is back on track.
Name: Thaddeus Drakeblood
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Thaddeus is quite tall, standing at 5’11”. He sports short, spiky red hair and brown eyes. His complexion is relatively pale, though not unhealthily so. Thaddeus wears a brown leather coat with his emblem inscribed on the back in red. He also wears a plain black shirt and black jeans (+ belt). His shoes are a pretty standard grey-and-black affair, though they’re armoured a little underneath. He also has lightly armoured fingerless gloves, which he wears in combat. The scabbard for his weapon rests on his back.
Strengths: Close range powerhouse, strong enough to swing his sword one handed. Artificially resilient, capable of fighting for prolonged periods of time. Will outlast most opponents. Typically uses brute strength and augments his sword attacks with unarmed strikes, keeping his fighting style varied. Being close to him is very dangerous and his attacks can conduct to an, ignoring defences to an extent as direct contact to him provides an opportunity to drain aura or shock them. Very good at fighting melee reliant enemies with aura buffs. Can be surprisingly fast by using his strength to jump around the battlefield.
Weaknesses: Lack of ranged attacks, only ranged attack is quite obvious and has a considerable charge time. Has trouble against fast opponents, though not immobile. Quite vulnerable to being kited, and can do little against ranged attacks outside of recklessly jumping at his attacker. Also very high profile as an attacker, and lacks defences.
Personality: Thaddeus is a pretty laid-back individual. He may come off as unmotivated, because he typically isn’t. Quite spacey sometimes, he likes making friends and he likes messing around with them, even if he can’t be bothered making that many. Outside of his friends, he’s quite friendly to strangers as well, though he’s certainly not as close. Despite his spacey exterior, he’s actually quite intelligent. It just doesn’t seem that way most of the time because he’s unconcerned by so many things. Despite that, he’s also quite curious when faced with new things. He doesn’t like rigidly structured things or close-mindedness.
History: Thaddeus was born to an ancient family of famous hunters, originating from an ancient influential hunter involved in the creation of society itself. Prestigious as it was, Thaddeus didn’t want any of it. Thaddeus was born as a second son in a family obsessed with combat strength. Constantly a disappointment, Thaddeus performed the bare minimum of combat training as a child, stating often that he couldn’t be bothered with it. His parents wanted him to train as much as his brothers, as he had some of the best potential out of any of his siblings, mostly due to his rather unique semblance. Thaddeus works to be a hunter mainly to get his family off his back, but he’s far more interested in seeing new things, whereas his family want him to become a hunter solely for the purpose of cementing their role as one of the most influential hunter families in the world.

Weapon name: Dragon Slayer
Appearance: Dragon Slayer is an inherited weapon, passed down and maintained for a long time. The Drakebloods keep several of these, and handed Thaddeus one that would suit his needs. Dragon Slayer is a 4’5” long claymore with a blade roughly 3 inches wide. The guard features a stylised gold dragon head ornament with its wings turned upwards spread to the side acting as the guard, positioned in a way that makes it seem as if it’s spitting the blade out. Its body winds down the black grip, twisting down to rest at the pommel where it ends with a dragon claw holding a lightning dust gem. The blade itself is made of a shiny metal, straight 3 quarters up the blade before tapering off to a point at the end.
Function: Dragon Slayer functions like a wide-bladed claymore, though it’s a considerably bigger than a normal one. It’s still well balanced despite the weight, and can be used for thrusting, sweeping or chopping strikes, and the wide blade can be used to block attacks to an extent. Furthermore, the dust crystal in the pommel can be activated to gather electricity in the blade by pressing a button on the guard, before pressing the same button to discharge it the electricity built up in the direction that the blade is pointed. The charged energy can be kept, buffing the blade with electricity, but will slowly bleed back to the crystal if not used. As with most weapons, it can also channel Thaddeus’s aura, making use of his particular semblance.

Devourer
When activating his semblance, Thaddeus becomes coated in red aura and it takes on unique properties. It strengthens Thaddeus more than usual, buffing his physical strength greatly and direct contact to other auras allows Thaddeus’s own to absorb the other aura, replenishing Thaddeus’s aura and strengthening devourer’s effect. Thaddeus’s semblance allows him to effectively fight for very long periods of time as it replenishes his aura often, though the boost is ultimately artificial and does no more to buff his defences than normal aura.
While his semblance is active, drinking aura slowly makes Thaddeus go deeper and deeper into an agitated bloodthirsty state, which allows him to ignore pain to a certain extent. But if he incurs heavy damage during use of his semblance, he will incur its effects after his semblance wears off, possibly leading to injuries or collapse. If Thaddeus deactivates his semblance, he returns to normal. Bloodthirst and strength enhancement drains quickly when it’s inactive, though if he activates it again within a short period of time, the effects will still be active at the current level of deterioration.
