Blue eyes
Black hair, with blue and red highlights

Son of the wealthy and influential business, Viktor is the only child, spoiled and rotten to the core. He was served everything on a silver plate for the entirety of his life, not needing to work for a single day. The considerable amount of wealth accumulated by his father stimulated his son's expensive tastes. Pills, weed and other substances were the basics for a normal day in the life of Viktor. He is quite eccentric, both in his look and style of speaking. The men stick close to him due to his ignorant money handling and the women do consider him charismatic and interesting enough to fall under his spell. He is far from an elite Casanova, but his status, extrovert personality and not too shabby of a build, make him an intriguing specimen.

His sadistic nature, on the other hand, often comes to surface when the door closes and he is left with whatever poor woman found him charismatic enough.

Unknown man
His interaction with the bouncer out of the way, Aleks had finally properly stepped foot inside of the villa. It was a mix of classical architecture, shining wood giving an elegant look to the interior, combined with low lights and a spectacular staircase in the midst of it all. There was even a grand piano on the platform in the corner of the room. Unfortunately for aesthetics, it was mixed with modern elements of occasionally flashing lights and protruding glass elements which were supposed to be art, but even a slightly trained eye was able to see it was an overly expensive piece of junk. The price tag probably made it a priority in the host's mind. After all, spending money is the best way he knew how to pander to Bratva. As far as he was able to see, there were indeed no higher up officials present. He suspected as much, but now that he was sure none of them would spend their time on such trivial matters made his heart a bit lighter. So far, no one paid him much attention and the party went on with its own flow. The low and flashing lights made it easier to blend with the crowd. Not stir too much trouble right off the bat. Besides, no man came here to socialize with other Bratva members. Socializing wasn't the goal for tonight. Getting wasted on some, quite probably, high end stuff and being close to the girls - that was what mattered. Very convenient.

It took Aleks little time to spot Lilith, even in the crowd, her dress made her stand out that much more. And it was quite a dress, indeed. Aleks had to give props to her for choosing it, but decided to use the lights to his advantage so he could hide the expression on his face. She would love to see him flustered. And if it were any other predicament, he would have had a hard time acting hard to get. She was taking it too easy and was probably used to situations like these, where something terrible would unfold moments in the future - it showed. The difference between the two of them. One was more human than the other. And at this point, Aleks was unsure which one. She was far too relaxed and he was far too... cold. The thought lingered on, he knew well what was about to transpire, but it didn't get to him. That was not normal.

In the end, he let a smile appear on his face as he approached Lilith, showing his approval of the dress. She probably wanted more of a reaction, but for now, she'd have to be satisfied with it. Hell, she looked overly satisfied with herself as it was. "Control yourself," he thought as he gazed into her eyes.

"Lazarevska-," Aleks began, taking extra care to call her by surname this time. He had lost his opportunity to say it out loud before, but wasn't about to let that slide. As he was about to take off his coat and hand it over to the girl, Aleks noticed how Lilith had already set her eyes on her. Seducing like a fox, even Aleks wasn't able to assume she would do something like that as soon. Was it her playful side surfacing? Did she purposely wish to show off in front of Aleks? Or was it just her inner urges breaking through to the surface? Aleks had no time analyze it; at first, he thought Lilith might be out of place, but a quick scan of the surrounding parties showed that they were all already indulging in various similar activities. Exchanging pills, locking lips - no man paid much attention to other men in the room. Indeed, Lilith wouldn't stand out in a bad way after all. That's why he decided, in a split moment, to let her have fun. Indulge her. "No need to burden yourself, I'll take care of the coat myself," Besides, he wasn't keen on anyone feeling the pockets of his coat. Lilith made it a lot easier on him without even realizing it. "How cute," Aleks finished with a smile, not particularly talking to anyone, letting Lilith do her thing, before turning around and slowly walking to the other side of the room.

Not a lot of people had recognized him yet, which was a relief. The girls themselves probably had little idea about who was who in Bratva - didn't matter much to them. And the men were mostly lost in whatever substance induced trance - drugs or lust. Not much of a difference, when broken down. However, the sight of so many young girls pained Aleks, often he had asked himself how does one get themselves into such a position. But then again - he himself was on someone's collar. Guess he felt for them a bit.

"NO WAY-!" a chirpy voice roared in front of Aleks. The combination of music and sweet company was enough that nobody in particular turned their head towards it. With the exception of Aleks, who traced the direction from which the voice came from, until his eyes set on a young male figure. Average build, but a bit skinnier in the face - his hair and clothes were every bit eccentric and wannabe trendy as Aleks had expected out of the man. The boy. The idiot.

He had black hair, combined with blue and red highlights respectively. His clothes consisted of tight leather jeans, boots, a neon green scarf and a jacket which, left unzipped, showed his torso in full glory. "Young master Titov! I am honoured you came, didn't think even in my wildest dreams someone like you would sniff close to this low budget villa! If I knew you were coming, I'd brought some of my higher class friends..." The boy, Viktor Kuzmichev, host of the party, was trailing off, talking about three different topics in the span of one minute - he was obviously high, Aleks was able to pick up on it as soon as he had approached him.

"Kuzmichev Viktor at your service, hosting this party for my new brethren," finally he noted, although Aleks knew well who he was. "I am aware, Viktor, no need for formalities - it is a pleasure to have you in our ranks. I am here without the knowledge of my father and his associates, so I would appreciate it if you kept it low, how does that sound?" Aleks talked with ease, as if he had known this boy for ages. "I understand, I understand," Viktor immediately started in a hushed voice, leaning closer to Aleks. Invading his personal space by a long shot. "I know - you're here to have some fun, right? Your father doesn't need to know about that, I understand. Look, look," he spaced out again, for a couple of seconds, before pointing his finger to a group of girls by the staircase. "For my friend, only top notch!"

"What a joke," Viktor's entire personality was just a caricature, as stereotypical as it could be. If Aleks wasn't aware of what Viktor loved to do behind closed doors, he'd consider him slightly amusing. But alas, he was nothing but scum. As his gaze followed Viktor's finger, it didn't settle on the girls in question. Instead, it set on the man leaning on the wall, far from any of the activities, but still close enough not to cause suspicion. But that in itself was suspicious, making Aleks believe that much more he didn't belong here. Besides, a fur jacket combined with a crew cut, military style - the man reeked of ex-military. To add to it, the man was staring at Aleks. No one was paying Aleks much heed, either because they didn't notice him or because they didn't want one of the Titov to see them attending a party like this. This man was giving him all the attention in the world, not even trying to be subtle.

"Viktor," Aleks spoke out to the host, not taking his eyes off the man, "A friend of yours?" It took Viktor a couple of moments to notice whom Aleks was referring to, before laughing and patting Aleks on the shoulder. "No, no - a friend of a friend of my father's acquaintance. Something along the lines. He insisted on getting someone to keep an eye out on me," the way Viktor spoke made Aleks realize the old Kuzmichev was well aware of his son's ventures; something he was unable to confirm before. A valuable piece of information. But he was also very much certain now that the man in question was ex-military. "A freaking mercenary was just what we need now," he thought to himself as he took his eyes off the man, focusing on Viktor instead. He was still going on about the man being dependable and trustworthy. The next time Aleks looked in the man's direction, he was gone.

"Viktor, can I count on you being quiet about me being here tonight? A rare is a chance when I can enjoy myself without the burden on my back," Aleks acted out a smug smile, one which brought an enormous grin on Viktor's face. All of his teeth were visible. He nodded with enthusiasm. "Splendid - is there a back room where I can store my coat?"

Viktor took a few moments to process that question, as if he was not sure himself of the layout of the villa. Considering he had a girl that was supposed to take care of that, it was not a surprise. However, he still came up with direction, for which Aleks had thanked him. "That out of the way, you don't think I came here empty handed? I brought a very special gift for you. I'd give her a bit time to relax, since she is new in town - but you will find her to be quite... enthralling." Aleks could see that he not only piqued Viktor's interest, but libido as well, "Look for chrysanthemums." The sentence was finished with a wink and, extending a hand to Viktor, he returned to his serious demeanour. "Welcome to Bratva, brother." With that - Aleks was gone, heading towards the back room. This turn of events may prove to be slightly more complicated, so he had to take some precautions. Hopefully Lilith wouldn't stir too much trouble while she was out of his sight.
Just as Aleks was about to open his mouth, considering the best possible option to answer the old lady at the reception desk, Lilth's voice struck him from behind. "What an impeccable timing," he thought to himself as a small smile appeared on his face, he was wondering what Lilith looked like, as he was certain she took great care to look the part. But still - he didn't flinch, not yet turning to face her. "I'm thankful you took your time to talk to me, babyshka. Take care of the old ticker," he let out a low laugh, one which was clearly not too genuine, but executed to perfection, only the most insightful of people would have the chance to assume something was off. Years of hiding behind fake laughs do that to a man. He leaned forward, his hands resting on the reception desk, whispering to Roza, "Maybe I can persuade her to stay for a bit longer." He flashed a kind smile, acting as he took care so Lilith wouldn't be able to hear him, but he didn't care if she did. It was just a means of tying all the loose ends. Who knows whether he'll need an alibi at one point, so there was an underlying need to be extra careful around people that saw the two of them together. Even if the person was, at first glance, as unimportant as an old lady at a reception.

The thought of Lilith fuming behind him was as wonderful as it was dangerous. He felt her gaze burning into his back. Of course, teasing around a bit was allowed, but it was necessary not to go overboard with it. After all, the two of them had to be on the same page if everything was to go according to the plan. "My apologies, Lily," Aleks said as he swiftly turned around, fully expecting to see a beautiful lady in front of him. Instead, his pupils widened a bit, as he felt a sting of something rush through his body. What is it? he asked himself as he looked at the woman in front of him. Excitement, shock, genuine surprise? It felt like nostalgia, but that did not make any sense. However, anything was a probability at this point, but the lingering fact was that she - even for this brief moment - got to him. Her appearance was absolutely stunning, but something was odd. It was not as if she had not have been beautiful during their first meeting. He wasn't able to put his finger on exactly what it was that struck him as off. "Remember - she is something else; may change the fur, but she is still a fox."

Clearing his throat, trying to reassure himself of the reality that stood in front of him, he took few steps to approach her. Certainly, she noticed that shift. And probably felt good about herself. Yet, there was a distinct look on her face, look of... displeasure? But the fierce glance made her look that more wondrous. She was truly something special. Aleks was going to compliment her anyway, but his next sentence was maybe the most genuine thing he had said to her ever since the two met. "To say you look stunning is an understatement... Your are nothing short of perfect."

As he looked directly into her eyes, a certain voice echoed inside of his mind. The voice of his step father, telling him not to trust anyone with such eyes. It instantly snapped him back to reality, realizing what he was here to do. It was not the time, nor the place to get lost in someone's gaze. A moment of weakness - nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, she may look beautiful, but without being able to see her dress, there was a possibility that she would feel slightly out of place at the party. After all, she wasn't merely supposed to play the role of his companion, but she would find the true nature of her role due time. Aleks felt a bit sorry for pulling wool over her face, but it was necessary. Her expression will be priceless, though, and the thought made a smirk appear on Aleks' face for a brief moment. He wasn't sure whether she saw it or not and, instead, decided to break the silence that had accumulated in the room, "Please, ladies first."

The villa was packed with people of middle status in Bratva, anyone who was anyone was invited, bar the more higher up officials. Although it looked like a fancy gathering for more wealthy members of society, Aleks saw it as nothing but a bratty kid trying to suck up to older kids while his parents were not at home. That wasn't far from reality, indeed - the parking was filled with fancy cars, men and women could be seen coming in pairs, but more often than not, men came with more than one companion by their side. Aleks called for a taxi to bring them couple of blocks from the villa and from there, they walked. The less records existing of them actually attending this party, the better. Music could be heard from inside of the mansion, what could have had potential for a classy gathering sounded more like a low budget rave. The music, at least. And not the good kind of rave. It was obvious the kid was trying to impress. "Jesus," Aleks muttered out as he already counted over 10 men. The number of women was at least twice that much, and then some. It was not going to be easy.

As they approached the main entrance, a bulky man crossed their path, first carefully inspecting Lilith - taking his time, before setting his eyes on Aleks. He nodded with approval, before opening his mouth to speak, "names?" His accent was thick, making Aleks sure the man was not from Russia. The question was - how familiar then was he with Bratva's hierarchy? "Aleksei Titov," a sharp, serious tone came out of Aleks' mouth as he enjoyed the look on the bouncer's face. So, he was familiar with Bratva after all. "And Nikolina L-" he went on to add, but the man cut him off. "No need for further names - Titov is more than welcome here."

A small smile appeared on Aleks' face - it was a relief. The other people were getting searched for weapons, yet he had a free pass. He expected as much, but the small trace of doubt was there when he initially heard the man's accent. Had he searched Aleks, maybe he would find the first weapon of the evening. It was fortunate Aleks didn't have to explain himself. He looked to the side at Lilith, nodding for her to move inside, before turning his gaze back to the man, the smile now gone. "Thank you, but a small word of advice - don't interrupt a Titov again." The intimidating glare Aleks' gave the man remained on his face for a couple of second, before he swiftly switched back to the relaxed, smiling persona. He tapped the bouncer on his shoulder and moved past him.
@shylarah Eli is a simple boy :P Give him a compliment and he'll ignore all the jabs.

As soon as Nikki had approached Eli, the little fellow on his shoulder tried to burrow itself into Eli's clothes. The little mouse seemed to be shy, which was an interesting trait considering it was paired with Eli. Paired? Were they even paired by some rule, or was it luck of the draw type of thing? Eli had no answer to that question and was even less to find one considering Nikki was standing in front of him, distracting him from the matter at hands. "It is always the little ones that end up destroying mountains!" He said, but felt his face grow a bit red. Whether she was acting as if he was a little kid, it was still a compliment. From a girl.

"Shake it off, Eli" he mumbled to himself before he shifted his attention to his small partner. Mostly to distract himself from Nikki at hand. He had no way to get one on Nikki and her winged lizard. Not yet. She won this one.

"Don't worry, little one. She doesn't bite. I think. Besides, she is more likely to focus her attention on me than you, so you'll be safe for a while." Eli talked to his little furry fellow, trying to think of a proper name. "I should call you something, shouldn't I? Unless you already have a name?" He asked, leaning in closer, as if the mouse was whispering something to him. He acted out the best shocked face he could before shooting a glare in Nikki's direction. "Say what?! he proclaimed, his mouth wide open. Jaw dropped all the way to the floor. "Your people called you the Blood Terror of The Night Sky?!?! Amazing! Terror it is!" He beamed a grin as he quickly shuffled away from Nikki.

"Bro! So good to see you're fine. I was worried for a second there, but I should've known you can handle yourself." Eli cheerfully said as he got near Blin, punching him in the shoulder. Then, in a split second, his gaze moved towards Sir Shroom. "Death to the Chimes! Death to the Chimes!" Eli started chanting, Terror soon following with tiny squeaks of its own. "Although... would you mind explaining to us...

The hell are those Chimes?"

"There ain't a prize in this world as wonderful as you," Aleks replied with a smile of his own. The two were looking at each other like two demons plotting against humanity. They weren't far from it, if Aleks had to be honest with himself. He was as prepared as he always was, with every possible outcome lingering on in his head. No one said it was going to be easy. He didn't think it was going to be easy. Well, this was indeed going to be the first time he got to see the fox in action. Possibly gather some information on what exactly she was able to do. But, no matter how successful the first phase of the plan was, the second phase ought to be far more complicated. After all, it had to look like an assault from the Tambov. That was something Aleks would be able to handle, but the fact that he would be seen at the party was a problem. No one was to leave alive.

The interaction between Lilith and Aleks seemed to go on for hours, days, weeks and even months - as their eyes remained locked onto each other. At one point, Aleks was a bit unwilling to let that moment go. As if it was a blasphemy to speak. "I am," he finally retorted, "Are you?" Keeping his sentences as short as possible, not to break the atmosphere. This was serious business between two devils, yet he felt calm. Looking at her, he felt relaxed. At home.

What did Lilith have that reminded him so much of her?

Clearing his throat, Aleks stood up. "I wouldn't want to bother your rest. I will be picking you up at 9 PM tomorrow here at the hotel," he said, taking a short pause before continuing, "Unless you wish me to stay, I'll assume that is all and take my leave." He already turned his back to Lilith, but turned around one more time, "I'm glad you're alright."

Whether that was genuine or not, it was up to Lilith to decide.

Most of the day went by uneventful, the cloudy sky not providing even a droplet of rain. It was a monochromatic day, externally that is. Aleks' mind was racing with ideas, cooking up different ways of getting out of potentially disastrous predicaments. He was not able to afford himself anything to go wrong. He was eager, yes, but wouldn't storm recklessly into his own doom. After this was done, he would have to lay low with his plans for a while. A month or so. Enough time to give both parties time to light a fire on their own. If he was to start acting on his own accord too quickly, it wouldn't spell out a good fortune for him. And if he was to mess up due to being far too eager to bring the plan to its fulfillment, Lilith would have no problem leaving him behind - he was certain of it. She had it easier than him. Able to leave whenever she so desired. Aleks was kind of envious of that, but the game was still on. No - the game had just begun.

He was not going to mess up.

Aleks had another meeting with Volgin today, setting himself up with another case of an alibi. He just had to make sure not to overdo it. If he was to be with Volgin every day a crime set place, he would become a suspect himself. But for now, it fit the bill. He did say he wanted to help with the investigation and Volgin did call him personally to talk about the most recent crime. The piece fit the puzzle perfectly. Volgin was quick to pick up on the missing hearts. The crime scene was far from clean. Aleks was able to get a bit on an inside information on Lilith's workings. In case she was not telling him something. So far, it seemed, she was pretty honest with him. A relief. And although her tactics may have been cruel and animalistic, she got the job done. And no one was suspecting the culprit to be a female, yet.

The preparation phase went smoothly, but now came time for the main course.

It was around 9PM, a brisk evening with a cold wind making its presence known every couple of minutes. The sky was much clearer now, providing for a refreshing sight, which, at the same time, brought jitters to Aleks' fingers. The night felt ominous, with the moon shining clear above him. He was standing in from of Lilith's hotel, looking at the screen of his cellphone, waiting for it to flicker with the numbers 21:00. Once again, Aleks was well dressed, the colors of his outfit were a bit downgraded from his usual black style. But he was going to a party, after all, not to a completely formal dinner. As soon as the time was right, Aleks opened up the door and stepped inside, the warm interior of the hotel welcoming its newest guest. The old lady was once again in the lobby, so Aleks made sure to greet her, before approaching her. "My greetings, babyshka. Do you mind if I ask you a question?" His companion was nowhere in sight yet, and he made real sure of that before approaching the potential owner of the humble hotel. Aleks assumed Lilith was busy getting ready to look the part. He was also curious to see what she would look like. Nothing short of spectacular, he was sure.

"I am sure you remember the lady I was with yesterday - I was wondering if you could me so kind to tell me when did she first check in at your hotel?" It was nothing more than small talk, Aleks had no real interest in snooping around tonight. But since he was already here, waiting for Lilith, there was nothing wrong with finding a bit more about her. If nothing else, he would keep his mind from what was about to transpire for a couple of seconds. Affording that sort of luxury was not easy on a day like this, but at least this would do.
Contrary to a popular belief, I am not dead.

But was without internet for a good month. So... good as dead?

But I'm here.

Guess there was no other choice - Eli would have to fight. Would have to give his all to protect the Shroom sir, the girl that stood besides him and, ultimately, himself. Whether that meant he was going to die, he did not know, but he was not about to keel over and allow this beast to devour their lights. He was going to FIG-

"Huh?" Eli muttered out as he felt the sudden wind behind him, as another bird came onto the scene. Followed by a rowdy crowd of Nikki, Blank, Blin and Sera. Not just them, though. The scene suddenly filled with a wolf, a phoenix and some other things that Eli just shortly took notice off. Could they be...

"Could they be their lights?" Upon asking himself that, Eli looked to his shoulder, to the slowly forming ball of light. It started taking shape, becoming more and more visible in the daylight. He was right, the source of those "pretty awesome" companions his friends seemed to have surely had to be in the balls. What would his be? A massive dragon? A cunning fox? Maybe a flying snake, with the fangs of a dragon and a wisdom of a tortoise?! The possibilities were endless. for a second, the drums were rolling in Eli's head, his heart was beating hard and his breath grew heavier. The excitement was unbelievable.

Plus, with Nikki and Blank in the picture - he wasn't all that afraid that the beasts would be dealt with. He was sure Nikki would take that opportunity to take them down. Possibly later rub it in Eli's face as to why he didn't take them down himself. Or something. Well - she was about to see the great power of the flying fox like snake with the fangs of a tortoise and a wisdom of a dragon! She was about to witness-!

With a tiny squeak, Eli's companion made its presence known. It was not even just a tiny squeak, but the tiniest of squeaks. "You are the awesomely powerful dragon-like tortoise fox?" Eli asked, scratching the back of his head, looking as dumbfounded as one could. Another squeak. "I... well... aren't you a... fiery little fella?" Eli patted it on its head, which made it produce even cuter sounds. It looked around for a couple of seconds, seemingly taking the battlefield into consideration. Its expression grew serious. Eli felt the change in the vibe.

"I knew it!" Eli raised his voice as if noticing a change in the air around him. "You are a cunning little one, got me fooled for a second! C'mon now, transform into the godlike powerful shiny phoenix of the afterlife... with the wisdom of a THOUSAND tortoises!" And on cue with Eli's words, the squirrel's fur started shining brighter and brighter. It became warmer and warmer. Until finally...

The little one looked at Eli and started rubbing its head onto his shoulder. A sign of affection. The warm smile returned to its face, resulting in Eli sighing with the force of a rhino. By the time he looked up, both beasts were down and out, seemingly taken care of by his friends. "Let's say you did that, huh? Yeah... you buffed them or something..." He sat down on the ground, taking the fire squirrel into his hands. "Let's call you... Squishy. Lieutenant von Squishy. We'll work on your powers later." He said before turning his attention to his friends. Blin was alright, fainted, but that was normal. That was a relief indeed.

"Great job guys, synergy for the win!"

Eli Wyn

The Chimes? Eli didn't have a clue what Sir Shroom was talking about and his expression made that much known. A couple of important questions popped into his head: what or who were the Chimes? Why would they get eaten? What's with the little ball becoming a furry ball on his arm? A talking shroom?

And did the talking shroom just call him stupid?!

As the Shroom asked a question, Eli heard the sound of clattering wood. "Are those The Chimes? He mumbled to himself as his gaze shifted from the Shroom to the girl. Back and forth. If something was coming, something enough to scare the Shroom to its roots, then to hide would indeed be the best option. Besides, Eli didn't feel a whole lot of hostility coming from the Shroom itself.

Then - it appeared. In a swift motion, a shadow swept a random light and devoured it, putting an end to its glow. That in itself wasn't a nice sight, especially considering it was a...

"A freaking hollow eyed monster!"

But as Eli didn't know how the food chain worked here on the surface, he for a second thought that maybe, just maybe, it was a normal occurrence and the whatever that thing was would fly away. Really really fast. As it looked directly at Eli, or at least at the glow on his shoulder, he thought it would've definitely been a good course of action to hide beforehand. Now, however, it was a tad bit too late.

"Oh no no no no, you ain't gonna eat my-" Eli tried to say, but as the thing rushed towards him, he had no other choice but to jump to the side. Far enough to avoid the outstretched claws of the monstrosity. "Rude."

Not having the time to think things through, but certainly realizing there was no real way for them to fight the monster. He didn't have any weapon on him, not even something that could've been improvised as a weapon and as far as he knew, neither did Thema. Luckily, the monster was so far focused solely on him. Or his ball at least.

"Hey," Eli whispered to the girl, "How about I distract this thing and you take Sir Shroom and get away from here? Unless you want to take this thing down. I'm down for that, just say the word, we... Islanders can do great things when we combine our strengths. What was the name for that? Ah, yes, synergy!"
