[Day 1 - Monday - 10:00 am]

Sin’chi realized the other students who were late and this disappointed him. If one was to arrive late to a battle field, the enemy has already won. He turned at Yoshino and shook his head, waiting for him to take his seat. Afterwards, he turned his attention back to Amy who mentioned how well she could control her energy. This is a good a sign because confidence can also win battles…but if used incorrectly it can also determine your defeat. Then Yoshito mentioned how well he could control his energy as well and also mentioned that he knew his strengths and weaknesses, which was also good. Hajime smirked at them all and said…

“It is good that you all know your energy well, but one cannot win battles if they cannot keep their energy under control for long periods of time. Amy and Yoshito both claim they have their energy in tight format, very well. I will show you something and I want everyone to come up to the front of the room and stand side by side and perform what I am about to show you one by one.” He finished.

Standing at the front of the room Hajime closed his eyes for a bit. His body was relaxed and his muscles were not tense. Immediately after opening his eyes, there was a bright light that became visible through his pupils but it wasn’t enough to blind them. Suddenly, his body began to show a light blue aura that circled around him. Turning around with his back to the class, he walked to the wall that possessed the chalk board and placed his right foot on the board. Seconds later he began walking on the wall and on the ceiling while keeping his posture calm. He walked among the ceiling in the middle of the row of desks, right above everyone in the classroom and crossed his arms while smirking. The aura that was around his body was still there but his eyes stopped shining with light. His dark brown ponytail hung loosely pointing down toward them.

“Energy is not something that should be considered third party; it is something that should be meshed within your body. Your energy is like a second sense rather than a tool to be used. Amy, Yoshito and everyone.” He said before cutting himself off.

He back flipped from the ceiling until he landed graciously one top of one of the empty desks. When he flipped from the ceiling it almost seemed as if his body was floating rather than falling. Hopping off the desk he walked back to the front of the room, calming the aura that was around him. Hajime continued his speech.

“Come to the front of the classroom and stand side by side. I will teach you the proper positioning before you demonstrate your energy. Once you demonstrate your energy I want you all to do as I did and stick to the ceiling.” He finished and waited.

(Depending on your path, your aura will either by light blue - Hikari, or dark purple - Kurai.)
Hahaha, alright. I must ask you all something. I want everyone to feel comfortable in this role-play. So do you guys think we should have a posting order? or do you all think we are fine the way we are?
(Flashback)
“You have terrible hand and eye coordination.” a much younger Hajime said.

He was facing an opponent out on the school grounds in the garden area. His opponent was a man with a height of 5’6 who weighed 250 Ibs. The man had a bald head, shirt off, and the bottom half of a gi around his lower body with sandals. He held a long katana in both hands, while Sin’chi stood with his current attire dual-wielding his two katanas. His right hand held his katana backward, the length of the blade stretching past his back, while his left hand held his katana normally, the length of the blade stretching past his chest. Hajime had a much focused look on his eyes, while the man he faced seemed a bit cocky. He was one of the candidates who applied for the headmaster position…and this was their final battle. The victor would definitely become headmaster of Mikado Daigaku.

“You are pretty fast, Hajime-san! But your technique is flawed as well! Heeyah!” the man yelled, running quickly at Hajime.

When he got in close, the man swung his katana diagonally from top left to bottom right toward Sin’chi’s chest. Hajime squinted his eyes and spun his body backward. When he landed he saw that the man held his katana downward when he swung. Sin’chi brought his left foot forward and used it as a leverage to kick off of the ground to leap at the man in front of him. When he came close, he brought his right hand around while swinging his body toward his right as well. The backward held katana in his right hand came slashing down toward the man’s upper torso; while his body was in spinning momentum, he also prepared to use his left hand which held one katana normally. The left hand came swinging around as well once his right sword brushed past the man’s chest slicing him clean. The left sword sliced down the same wound, forcing the man to back ward holding his chest.

When Hajime stopped, his back faced the man. Hajime narrowed his eyes at the ground, hearing the man yell in utter pain.

“Y-you…got m-me…” he said before he collapsed.

Sin’chi heard a loud thud when the man hit the ground. The spectators around them looked in astonishment at Sin’chi’s skill and speed. Suddenly another man appeared before Sin’chi.

“You’ve passed the headmaster test. Congratulations, Hajime-sensei.” He said.

Afterwards, everyone in the area bowed in respect to Sin’chi…but he wasn’t feeling it all too well. Instead of enjoying that moment, he put his swords back in their sheaths and simply walked away from them all.

[Day 1 - Monday - 9:55 am]

Hajime looked around and saw other faces enter the room. They all looked like they were prepared for class and one of the girls even announced her name…Hitomi Matsumoto. He was proud there were some who were not nervous about introducing themselves. As he gazed upon them all he sensed how much strength they carried. He could sense this by using his energy which is a mandatory skill that all students must learn. Focusing your energy is very important before you graduate from the school. The energy can do many things to your body. It can enhance your speed, allow you to walk and run on walls, water, and it can help you keep focus of your abilities further enhancing their power. When everyone sat down he began speaking.

“Welcome to Mikado Daigaku. I am headmaster, Sin’chi Hajime and it appears that I will be your homeroom instructor for the rest of the year.” He said as he reached down to pick up a stack of packets.

“In my hand are packets that are crucial to your arrival here at the school. I will pass the packets out according to the names.” He said.

He went down each row of desks handing them their packets.

“These packets offer information about the school as well as your dormitories in where you will be staying.”
(To keep our cast close together, we will reside in the co-ed building of the dorms.)

“Now that is finished. I want to ask you all something and I want some volunteers to raise their hand. How efficient are you in honing your energy?” he asked and waited.
Alright
[Day 1 - Monday - 9:45 am]

When Sin’chi asked for Amy’s name that was when a few others had entered the classroom. The first fresh face gave Hajime a slight suspense; he was quiet…and didn’t say anything at all. Then again waking up early in the morning to attend school wasn’t necessarily a wonderful thing to young faces. He decided to shake off the thoughts and acknowledged the presence of another face as well, Kaori. She wore some unusual attire but Hajime knows that everyone has their own style in clothing. He turned back around to the window and waited for Amy’s answer. But then suddenly something clicked in his mind. As he stared at the monument that was partially covered by the top of a tree from his point of view, a few dark images appeared in his mind; as if he got pulled into an instant nightmare. But that was Hajime in a nutshell. He has always had a look on his face as if he became disturbed or haunted by something. While working at the bakery a while back, the ones he worked with were intimidated by his focused expressions for they knew that something was wrong with him when they saw him. However, Hajime was the first to deny any rumor of him. He did not mention to anyone what exactly was wrong with him but before attending school he could remember his father speaking.

“As a carrier of the Kinji Raremashita Superu (Japanese for ‘Forbidden Spell’) it would be apparent to have constant prophecies…which were the only negative drawback the carrier would have. You are known as the Vanguard and with every new vanguard come an entire new set of challenges.” His father once said.

Ah…so that was why he kept having constant visions. Momentarily, he thought about what could happen. Suddenly, the school was transformed into a dark cathedral filled with ancient dead spirits fighting out in the courtyard. This was the look of the old school when ancient Kurai master, Akihiko Hisashi ruled. He visualized himself, Hanzo, Amy, and Kaori standing in the middle under the dark purple skies. Akihiko stepped down from the steps and raised his katana, wearing his armor and helmet.

“The return is inevitable, Vanguard. You and your students will bow before the darkness!” he heard Akihiko yell.

Suddenly, he snapped out of it and took a gasp before taking a few steps back placing his hand on his desk to recover himself. He panted a bit but tried to hide it from the class. He cleared his throat.

After taking the time to clear his head, he looked up at the class.

“I see we have…new faces…” he said a bit shaken up. “Give me your names while we wait for the others to arrive…” he finished and took a breath before sitting down in his desk.
It's fine.
[Monday - 9:40 am]

Sin’chi did not realize that someone else had entered the room while his eyes were closed. Until he heard someone ask if he was going to be their teacher for the rest of the year. Sin’chi thought about this, because there were many things to consider at that point. The school needed more teachers and it is likely they would find a permanent teacher for homeroom. But her question just adds more work for Sin’chi to do. Not only would be instructing homeroom be a lot but also handling business that has to run the school itself. Another added weight to his mental stability was keeping people from learning of the “forbidden spell” that was used to open the portal outside. This school was built on the foundation of ruling elite of the Kurai but a lot of the students did not know that. To some it was a myth, to others it was a true story. Regardless, as a carrier of the forbidden spell, it was his job from withholding that knowledge to others…though he knew there were many who were researching it. Perhaps the truth can turn up elsewhere…in which case…he would have to fight against.

If the portal was to open, this entire school and the rest of the city would be consumed in total war between the light and the darkness. The skies would be pitching black with rays of light shining through the creases, normal civilians who have not received proper mental training would fall into a state of despair and agony, and the streets would be filled with dead souls fighting without remorse if they mistakenly attacked a civilian. People would have to go into hiding if that portal opened…which was why it was important to keep it closed. He came upon the forbidden spell from his father who is also a part of ancient Hikari master, Junichi Saburo’s bloodline. The spell was passed down for generations in his family in secret, putting it into the hands of new guardians. Old Hikari masters in the ancient times called the spell bearer a vanguard which is the title that was granted upon Sin’chi. In this new society both Kurai and Hikari users do not know of what happened generations ago…then again…people can surprise you with what they know.

It was almost as if Sin’chi was in a day dream when the young girl asked him that question…which he calmly shook his head and smiled at her then said…

“Ah…welcome. Yes, I will be your teacher for the time being until we can get a replacement.” He said as he rose to his feet.

He walked over to one of the windows of the side of the room waiting for the others to arrive.

“And your name is?” he finished.

Accepted.
Yes.
