Hey, I'm interested. Are you looking for a certain amount of paragraphs each time, or anything like that? I usually do between 1 and 4, but I can probably do more if there's good stuff to go on.
PERSONALITY: Very, very independent, Jackson isn't the ideal person to spend time with. He's got to do everything himself, whether that be something simple or extremely complex. His anger issues don't exactly help that fact. He's been known to be a very strong person, and most people would advise you to stay away from him.
Jackson prefers to come up with things as he goes. He never really has a plan or idea, he just "wings it". He's pretty sharp, but not so much so as to help him get everything done on his own. He is mostly described as a "loose-cannon", and cannot receive no as an answer.
If your lucky enough to get close to him, he won't let anything happen to you or people close to you, so long as they're fine with his personality. On the outside, he's a jerky son-of-a-gun, but on the inside, waaaaaaaaay down there, he cares. You just need to put the effort in to get there. Next to nobody has every been so close to him.
He gets things done with his physical power most of the time. He has smarts, but doesn't use them as much as he should.
It's just his way.
Jackson was an only child for the majority of his childhood. Living in a magical household, it really wasn't too bad. He was actually a happy, giddy little kid. The family got along, and he had close friends. When he got his letter sending him to Hogwarts, he was overwhelmed with joy.
He spent three years there, always returning to his home when he could. Everything was great, until his father was accused of practice of the Dark Arts. They spent another year trying to prove it wrong, but it was true. They found evidence, that being his association with some other well-known sketchy wizards and witches. One of his associates being Jackson's mother.
After his family was jailed, he was forced into living with his uncle. His aunt had passed the year before, and he didn't know how his uncle was handling it. As it turned out, he wasn't taking it too well.
Taught by his despicable uncle the basics of the Dark Arts, he was expelled from Hogwarts in his 6th year. It was not entirely his fault either. His uncle had spoken about it to the DADA teacher, hoping that he would keep it a secret. Later, it was found out that he'd had a bit much to drink, and was brought into Azkaban 3 months later for the killing of an innocent muggle.
From that point on, Jackson learned to live on his own. He rented an apartment and gave up his Dark Arts practices. Though he never once forgot how to use it, he prefers not to use it when he can.
FAMILIAR: Anima, a small, mute, female crow.
WAND: Twelve Inches, Willow, the core being Unicorn Hair.
PATRONUS: A bat
SPECIAL STUFF: Jackson's knowledge of the law (having to listen to his parents' hearings, as well as his uncle's) and the Dark Arts, he is skilled with the use of curses in secret. Though he cannot pull off the killing curse, he is skilled with the Imperius curse. His use of the Cruciatus is limited, and not very talented.
Lately he's been involved with some petty crimes and such. His identity is out there, but he is not very high on the list. Crime has begun to grow on him as somewhat of an addiction.
(This idea came from my hearing about a book titled "The Wave". Note: I have not read it, I simply heard about it and liked the premise.)
Your in a high school history class. The subject is WWII and Hitler's reign. The class seems to be immersed in the discussion. A student suddenly calls out, above the teacher's voice.
"This isn't real, your just fooling us!"
Your teacher looks dumbfounded. He closes the text book in which he was reading from.
"Of course it is, why would you think otherwise? What you just said, that is saying that WWII never even existed," they say.
A low hum of conversation has begun to fill the air. Many students side with the opposing party.
"She's right!" and "Yeah!" were heard, as a few students went to the non-believer.
-------------------------------------------
An event has sprung up at your school. It is called The Reign. Your history teacher has taken responsibility of showing you what a real dictator is and how Hitler had done it all. Many students had gotten too into it, punishing those not participating in The Reign. It is up to you and your friends (or enemies) to fix this. Will it spread beyond the school? Will The Reign lead to the taking of extreme measures, possibly even government involvement?
I hope you like the idea, I've been gone for quite some time now and would like to come back strong.
Pitch listened to the young elf's story with great interest. Story's always fascinated him, particularly the dangerous ones. Every time she mentioned a narrowly-escaped attack, he could feel a smirk grow on his face. He'd always wanted to feel the thrill of it, almost being killed and them BAM he dodges the arrow, blocks the attack, dodges the jab, anything. When she reached the end, he felt himself wanting more.
"Wow..." was all he could muster for a while. It was really kind of a sad story. Wonder that she was alive, too. "You know, your awfully lucky to be alive, let alone talkin' to this guy!" he pointed both his thumbs towards himself.
She seemed to be happy about talking about it, and so, he supposed, it was a win-win situation. She got it off her chest and he got to hear it. Then, he noticed something. She hadn't mentioned ever getting severely cut in the neck, and there was a pretty decent-sized one crossing over hers.
"How 'bout that one? You never mentioned it..." he said slowly. Sure, it was rude, but it was more interesting.
Jeremiah raised a brow as she vented her anger. He liked her better when she was angry. Gave her a bit more... intensity. A Templar needs intensity.
"Oh no, I won't kill you. Oh-ho no... I have a better idea. You mentioned a spy. That's a good idea, if you ask me. What do you say, Caroline, will ya be the first Templar spy? Could serve you some good." he said.
