A rag tag ship conglomeration filled with meekly living scruff balls and randoms who's biggest obstacle is probably finding the next meal, along with constantly repairing to keep their ship from falling to bits. Lets have a history. I see it as (Name) found Beast on a treasure hunting trip on some planet and keeps it as a pet. One that She loves dearly.

Well probably the captain would make money via treasure hunting. The ship itself is like a giant homeless camp, bits and pieces scraped onto it to make it bigger for more people. They all help each other do odd jobs around the galaxy. Imagine the slums of a city but its floating in space. That's her ship.
