"Lunch? Sounds good." Food always sounded good. Lunch, dinner.. brunch. Anywhere there was food, Harper was happy to be. "We don't have a very busy day over there today. We did most of our Intel at stupid o'clock this morning." But Devin would known that, having been the one to practically push Harper out of the bed when her alarm rang. Sadly, the merry mood was stomped all over by surgical issue crocs when Mia reared her ugly head.
"Detective Johnson, are you ready?" The female blinked and crossed her arms, almost as though she was waiting for a child to do as they were told. Harper flared her nostrils in irritation, but she summoned up an alarmingly sweet smile.
"Of course, I'm on my way.."
Mia nodded sharply, and walked away like she owned the place. Johnson turned to Devin and Dan. "I'll see you at lunch.. And, well - if I'm not there, it's probably worth investigating." And with her eyes opened wide in feigned horror, Harps disappeared down the stairs towards the dungeon. As always, Mia was brutal in abstracting the specimen, but Detective Johnson was relieved when she got to be on her way, leaving Mia to process the sample for report.

Hi all,
So, I've decluttered my interest checks and I'm on an out with the old, in with the new kick. (I've also weeded out the crappy partners too, but sssshhhh.)
I would love to find a wonderful partner, that would like to join me in a WWII inspired roleplay. Historically speaking, this is one of my favourite era's. In Britain, it really brought communities together, and despite the obvious sadness and worry, there was also a great deal of fun and a real shift in social dynamics. Don't worry, I'm not about to geek out completely and pull out my projector - I promise. (Well, maybe if you like that sorta' thing.)
Anyway Luna, stop rambling and get to the point. This story will be about two people, that if the war hadn't happened, probably would never have found each other. I live in England myself, and my Nan married a Canadian Airman that was stationed over here. And that Canadian airman is my Grandad. Alarmingly cute, right? Right.
So, I'd like to base this in England, as it was really right in the thick of things. Perhaps a US sailor and an English civilian? Perhaps a Canadian Airman and WREN..(Wren are female RAF, just incase you aren't familiar with the term.) But there really are so many ways that we can go with this. And the details can all be discussed to ensure that we both enjoy it.
Now, I'm a pretty chill person, with an admittedly dorky sense of humour and a heartfelt appreciation of Sloths. What I want in a partner is really super simple. A person that can reply regularly - but we all know life happens, can handle mature scenes classily and that likes to OOC chat and plan together as we go along. Obviously, you also need to be able to handle the wartime issues that will naturally crop up. A decent grammar and spelling ability is pretty important, but for real - I'm easy. (Insert eyebrow waggle here.)
This my friends, is not a smut festival. Sure, there will mature themes, but it's not a porn movie. Pairings will be MxF, with myself taking the F. However, if you have an amazing idea, I could be swayed. 18+ only please.
On a side note, I have a terrible relationship with threads, so PM is my preferred medium. And this is not a RP for single paragraph posters. Sorry.
