@Konan375 - The weight of a soul isn't counted by deeds but by the whole picture, at least in the Pale Lady's eyes. ^.-

[♪ Village Music ♪]

As the Pale Lady's words fade from sound, a gentle flash of light occurs, blinding all your senses at once. You wonder how long this will last before you realize you feel the sensation of a bitter chill upon your skin. The white turns to black and you can feel your long-forgotten body laying on the ground, your eyes closed. In many ways you can feel the aches and pains of your death and yet you're somehow completely revitalized and full of energy. As you blink your eyes open you can see others around you, waking from supposedly the same death-dream, however there is one who stands. A woman with a flowing red mane that is held up only by a hairband or two, adorned in light almost tribal looking clothing and a familiar blade in hand - one that has been passed down by centuries of myths and fairy tales.

Behind her is a sight that is not welcomed by most. It is a village that nearly looks frozen in time, but the buildings are burned to a crisp and skeletons are laid across the depressing landscape. Those of a more magical detection immediately feel a strange sensation, that the burns were not caused by any known magic and that it's very much of an unnatural nature - almost as if the flames used here burned as much as they froze. Clearly the village had been attacked and not a single soul was left to tell the tale. Even the very ground seems to moan and weep as life is slowly being drained away by something strange.

Noticing the group is awake, the woman turns half-way to greet everyone with a serious, but gentle smile. "You've awoken," she mentions, as if confirming that everyone is indeed alive. "Gain your bearings when you can," she advises before gesturing to the ruined village. "As you can see, there is little for us to do here, so we might as well come to terms before we set off on our quest." Letting out a light sigh, her gaze finally falls upon Ffamran. Though her expression hardens a little, she simply nods to him once, as if hinting that she has no ill-will towards the man - though it's difficult to say why her demeanor is so calm given that he was the slayer of her lover.
@Konan375 - This party really isn't a place for anti-heroes, so if that's the case, you may want to rethink his character. I've had other RPs like this and allowed anti-heroes, but it always made it more difficult. There's plenty of bad stuff happening already, lol.
@Konan375 - That seems pretty reasonable. Just remember, no matter how old or jaded he may be, we are looking for heroes to join the group, even if they are redeemed heroes.
@Konan375 - I only have one question mostly for you. When he'd "play" at being a Lich to unite armies, did he actively kill anyone (on purpose)? I'm sure he was surprised a time or two and had to defend himself, but did he willingly end people's lives to unite kingdoms? Just trying to grasp his methods.

Everyone Else - I'll be posting in the IC soon. People still have chances to post secondary attempts at CSs.
I'll probably respond tomorrow guys - been a very busy week!
@Fetzen - Please don't throw a pity party. You are responsible for your own emotions, not me. Either way good luck in whichever you choose to do.

@Konan375 - Yes, great attitude! Go for it!

@Raging Fenrir - Of course! :D

@Rabidporcupine - I only saw one, being Delita, haha, but yeah. I was like, "oh neat," but ignored it mostly since it's just an easter egg mostly. ^.- Never played FFXII.

@Aeolian - Exactly right. ^-^ I look forward to it!
EVERYONE - I'll probably approve of 1-3 more heroes based on potential improvements and those willing to make improvements/adjustments based on my notes! Also, I'll make final decisions come next Tuesday. By the weekend, I'll have a lot of plans with family but want to give everyone time.

@Cairo - Interesting character, however a couple notes I wrote. Flying at high speeds is a no go, as it's a bit over the top for this RP. Also double-check your barrier piercing (i.e. it should never be able to bypass Save the Queen, the blade itself). Basically overall tone down the power level. ^-^

@Raging Fenrir - Only one note - make sure the cloak is a potential artifact from the Darkness in some way or another. Otherwise approved! I appreciate a magical detective. =3

@mercenarius - Forgot Time of Death but otherwise approved! I like how she's a stealth master, thief, and rebel leader!

@Inertia - Character is a bit overpowered, especially with his Archery. I mean, you're piling on being a tactical genius, master archer, master stealth, and good at martial weapons? Seems like there's no weaknesses. Also adding hard light is too much like comic books.

@Rabidporcupine - I was skeptical, but I actually ended up liking it against my own judgement. =3 I like that he's a songblade. So he's approved. ^-^

@CaptainSully - Not entirely sure his character is the best fit for the forming party, but besides this he's also far too superior in both ALL weapons and stealth as it is. Also shadow magic is to be granted by the Darkness, so he'd need to have a particular reason for that.

@Apocalypse - Unfortunately it's very hard to read. Beyond this, shadow and light magic doesn't really meld in this setting. SOME heroes may have blessing from the Darkness, but the Dark Lord & Pale Lady do not mix well for reasons. Also she'd need particular reasons to be granted shadow magic.

@Sightseer - Forgot her time of death. Otherwise, 100% approved. I adored reading about our very own Archdruid!

@Hero - I like her, though I hope to see her develop as a character over the course of the role-play. Otherwise no notes, so she is approved!

@Konan375 - Necromancers need to be specially crafted for this setting and to be heroes and I just don't feel it's convincing enough to justify.

@Italicized - Besides a missing personality, that level of healing cannot mix with necromancy in this setting. Also any necromancy needs to be very convincing, though not to mention I very much get a Full Metal Alchemist vibe, which isn't fitting to this RP.

@Fetzen - Sad to say, but this is simply too hard for me to ever follow. I tried to read his personality and I just get confused.

@Aeolian - While very well done and very unique, utility of this caliber only gets so far in adventuring, so I don't feel like he/it is a fit.

@deadpixel101 - Just one of this characters that doesn't quite fit my view/aura of the role-play. I'd imagine this character to be more in a RPG or a modern fantasy type of environment.

@Zero Hex - Certainly potential, but at the moment there isn't enough to his backstory to classify as a "legend" or enough proof to justify him being a part of the journey. A hero isn't by strength alone and so there would need to be more for the Pale Lady to deem him worthy of the task other than fighting some martial artists.
Okay, half way through the CSs! Sorry for the delay, but I'm making up time tonight! <3
