Her long, black hair reaches her lower back and her bangs reach just before her eyebrows. Her hair is usually messy and it is very rare to see it straightened or curled or any other way of styling.
Clothing: She usually wears over-sized tops and skirts that reach her knees. She usually wears stockings that reach her thighs and low shoes. She also uses a pair of simple, dark frame glasses.
Personality: Yasuko is very reserved, not really talking with someone she just met. She is someone who finds it really hard to trust others and even if she ever calls you her friend, she will always have a suspicious eye upon you. She also is quite analytic and at times can seem cold, though she finds it better to trust an analysis rather than trusting what others have to say. While you cannot say she is someone antisocial, she can in fact come across as so when you see how she behaves around others, specially in crowds. Yasuko tends to hide how she truly is unless someone gains her trust, due to her having some issues regarding how others view her, even if she says that it really doesn't affect her. While she is very quiet, Yasuko also has quite the sharp tongue.
When someone has indeed, gained her trust and she knows that he or she will not betray her even if she told them about her hobbies. In truth, one could say she is a big, BIG otaku, though she doesn't really like watching anime neither does she know how to use a computer and can only somewhat use her own cellphone. She is quite the bookworm, many of her days being spent in libraries or places like them, but mostly, she only reads light novels and mangas of any kind and genre. The only thing she can say she regrets is having to use a computer to read doujins of the series she likes, as long as they are family friendly, of course. Yasuko, however, having trained and prepared herself for it, is recently trying to surpass her technological stupidity by starting with a game console, which has also became somewhat of an obsession. While Yasuko likes reading those, she also enjoys reading other kinds of books aside from those.
Even though she believes it necessary for a girl to have a good fashion sense, like in the mangas she reads, she, herself, has no fashion sense whatsoever, hence why she dresses in such an inappropriate manner with shirts that seem to have been either passed down to her by her older siblings or that she just plainly can't afford something her size, even though her family is quite average.

Character Past: Since she was a little girl, Yasuko has had quite an affition for books. Even if she was reserved, she always had her little group of friends who she felt could understand her completely. While going through elementary school, she discovered the wonders of manga, first reading a shounen manga a boy told her to read, and she found it not only interesting, but also extremely fun and hypnotizing. This is where she developed her love for manga, after reading a manga directed to boys which she found so epic and fun that normal books with only words could not compare to. While her reading of novels and other books didn't have an extreme change, her new favourite kind of book were mangas and light novels. She became an otaku kind of quick, but being looked down at by society didn't really meant much to her, since at long as she kept it a secret, it would have been alright.
So, she never even once tried to share it with anyone else. For everyone in school, she was just the bookworm-ish, shy girl who kept too much to herself. To be honest, even if she is quite messy and even lazy at times, she was quite popular through her middle school years, even if she didn't knew so. And the lack of that knowledge was what brought her something she thinks she would be better off without ever experiencing it. Jealousy. A girl, jealous of her because the boy she liked, in turn like Yasuko, decided to take her revenge in a sweet way. She befriended the quiet Yasuko and quickly gained her trust. When Yasuko thought she could confide in her about being an otaku, she made one of the biggest mistakes of her life. The rumor quickly spread all throughout the school and many stopped talking to her, she just seemed plain weird now. Not only that, but she started being bullied by others in her school. The decision to transfer schools was imminent.
After that, she became wary of others and stopped being so trusting. Though she hates to conceal her hobbies, she really has no option but to do so. Not everyone is as understanding as one would like.
