Update for random citizens. I am back on the Mage hype train, however I am taking it a different direction that may or may not be accepted, only one way to find out.

I asked this in a chat with another RP I am in, but figured I would get opinions here as well. Given that I am already intending to move away from what I am used to I would like opinions on whether or not I should attempt to broaden my RP skill set even further by creating a female character.

@ThirdHourIII Having scrapped the mage, scrapping is a severe term as I hadn't developed past the concept, I had been intending to create a smuggler. But with you creating a thief I shall move my inspiration to another idea. This is a positive thing, as both concepts are ones I tend to fall back on. I will be moving away from my "comfort" zone, so thank you.

@Jacobite As noted above I am going back to the drawing board, so my CS will be delayed. It shouldn't set back extremely, I have today and tomorrow completely off, but I wanted to inform you.

I shall leave the magical arts in the hands of the personable @Angel Eyes and shall focus on another character setup entirely. I will be starting work on the character after I get dinner with my brother. Until then I will be brainstorming.

@Sylph Additional question. In the OOC it mentions that the runes can be placed upon the users own skin. Are these designed to be activated immediately or can they be placed to be used at a later time? This also applies to placing them in general. Along with this what are the drawbacks of placing continuous runes such as the one's used to create the Uplift? And how long does it take to draw the runes?

@Sylph That is what I had thought. Typically when an academy is involved the training is years rather than something simple. It doesn't disuade me in the slightest. It would be unwise for a voyage such as this to be undertaken without a mage present.
