Any path relating to traveling outside of Existence.

Oh?
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

I recommend foregoing that path.

Which?
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

Perhaps whatever is detected in and of itself is oscillating.

I do not know what it detects. That is yet another experiment we need to perform. Another is to find out what it does outside of Existence. I myself have never been there.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

I see. Are you aware of any other possibility?

No. Outside of Existence is the only plausible theory I have heard or thought of so far.

How likely is it that the flickering indicates a comatose state irrespective of his likelihood of being in said state?

The flickering occurs regularly. Rarely, but regularly. I find it unlikely that Vie has either developed a special method for communicating comas which she has not told me about or that a coma should cause his soul to flicker between existence and nonexistence on a regular basis.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

Is that solely feasible if he is truly alive?

It may not be. I remember that when Spectre failed to assert his Thrall, I could sense Vita, and he says that it was vice versa. So the flickering could indicate some comatose state. I am not sure how likely such a state is for him, however.

Perhaps he has been destroyed.

But his sword still indicates his life, occasionally.
<Snipped quote by Mammalia>

I see. Perhaps he is outside of Existence.

That is a possibility. Do you know of any others?

Is time travel not a plausible scenario?

I considered that. *Pulls out Vie* This sword is the reason I can travel through time. Both Wraith and Spectre have similar, connected swords. We can detect that the other exists. I thought I could use this to track him, but, apparently, while his existence occasionally blinks in and out, he usually does not exist. One could attribute this to time travel, but the sword also detects echoes of its use, which is how I discovered his actions in ages past. He is not in Existence right now, but he is also not in Existence ever.
