"I can understand that," Hikaru said as he dropped the herbs at Malacia's feet. "You know that, if we had a container of sorts, it would be a lot easier- he would only need to drink it. Just apply the herbs to the cut like a bandage after chewing them." He sat next to Leon. Hikaru hung his head, trying to hide his embarrassment. "Not a very good first impression, huh?" he thought.

"I still don't trust them," Leon said in a snide tone, chewing on a few pellets.

"You never trust anyone," Hikaru chuckled.

Hikaru smiled and said, "Okay. Wait right here. Leon.. you'd better not pull anything." After that, Hikaru darted into the forest to get some herbs. Leon, still wary of the hyenas, laid himself on the soft grass and was keeping an unwavering glaring eye on them. Several minutes later, Hikaru returned with several small plants in his mouth. "I don't have a bowl to grind these in," Hikaru said, laying the plants onto the ground, "and I can't lay these directly on the cut, because the blood might seep through or cause the plant to become off-center. Unless you have a bowl-shaped container I can use, I'm gonna have to chew these up and lay them on the cut." He paused for a second and smiled nervously. "That is.. if you're okay with that."

"Well, for starters," Hikaru said leaning closer. "I'm a nice guy- I hate seeing pain and sadness. Second, you two don't look like you're from around here. Plus, I'm not one to hold grudges." He grinned, trying to hold in his anger at his partner.

"Yeah," Leon growled, "except you forgot the part where we kill th-- ack!" Hikaru, still holding a happy visage, kicked Leon away before he could say any more harsh things.

"If you don't want my help, that's fine," Hikaru said, turning around. "Bleed to death if you really want to. But remember... if you ever need any help, I'm here." He sat down next to Leon, who was sitting on the ground, cleaning his face.

Marcus glanced up at her and made somewhat of a weird face when he caught onto hers, it seemed like she was staring but he wasn't going to dwell on that. He took another bite out of the large chunk of elk, looking over at her as she sat up, his eyes making him look attentive. "Were you now?" He asked her with a smirk, his tail swaying to one side to support his interest as she spoke her name. He thought about it for a few seconds, her name lingering through his mind. "It's only fair that I tell you mine too, I'm Marcus." He smiled at her. "What were you doing around the mountains anyway?" He asked curiously.(eheh, oops ^^; )

Leon growled at Anxius and Malacia, hate in his tone. Hikaru pushed Leon behind him, looking at Anxius with a pained expression. "Hey," he said calmly. "For what it's worth, I'd be willing to patch you up. I know a thing or two about herbs." Leon jabbed Hikaru with a tiny sword. "Hey!" Hikaru whirled around, snarling at the rabbit. "What was that for?"

"Need I remind you..." Leon snorted. "They tried to kill us!"

"So what?" Hikaru retorted. "He's hurt and I want to help him!" He growled and turned back to Anxius, trying to fit a smile onto his face.

Leon growled, "Step aside, plumage-face." He stared at the peacock in irritation, wanting answers from the hyenas.

"I actually agree with him, Leon," Hikaru said, sitting next to the rabbit. Leon looked up in disbelief.

"What," he shouted. "We should kill these two for attempting to kill us!" Hikaru simply stared at Leon, his green eyes unwavering in their seriousness. He looked at the peacock.

"We're not going to kill them," Hikaru said. "We just want some answers."

"Why did you do that," Leon growled, arms crossed, teeth gritted, and eyes glowing. He looked at the hyenas with hate in his eyes. The exact same look of hate that came from his best friends and family when they found out about his Hissatsu. "Why did you try and kill us? Were you sent by someone to do away with us?"

"Leon, calm down," Hikaru shouted, trying to lower the brown rabbit's temper. Leon looked at Hikaru, and the wolf immediately stepped back.

Leon stared at the bleeding male, and the female who had gone to aid him. He roared, "Well?"
