Current Just because you can have 36 attacks per turn that threaten a crit on a roll of 14+ doesn't mean it's worth doing.

Isn't it weird how you can start a private conversation with yourself?

Name: Loki Laufeyson/Laufeydottir
Age: Appears to be somewhere between 17 and 22

Appearance:

Bio: Loki - or this Loki at least - should not exist, not like this. Not here and not in this form, or forms. He/She was accidentally - and unknowingly - created by another Loki, the God/Goddess of Mischief and Stories while more or less restarting a universe. Though this Loki is not the same as the Loki who created Him/Her there are some minor similarities - personality wise at least. However the Loki of this world has nearly no memories of any other Loki. He/she just wants to learn how to be a real hero and doesn't care about being a God or a Goddess.
Ability:

Shapeshifting - The only ability Loki has more or less mastered by now - though he/she can't quite control the ability the shifts themselves are well executed, but for instance being startled can cause him/her to change shape by random.

Super strength and durability - Strong enough to stop a train and durable enough to shrug off for instance being stabbed in the gut.

Ability to create minor illusions - Loki can create very lifelike illusions, but his/her short attention span makes keeping them up very difficult.

Flight - Loki can fly, not very fast though. It's more slow levitating than real flight at this point and losing his/her concentration brings him/her plummeting to the ground.

Energy projection - Loki can hurl around bolts of energy, admittedly he can't collect enough energy to do any proper damage yet. The ability however is very good for making toast and looks kinda cool.

Teleportation - Loki has NOT gotten the hang of this ability yet. He/she might accidentally appear in a completely different place than where he/she intended to so for now the teleportation is more random blinking.

Child of a villan or a hero: Technically the child of Loki, The God/Goddess of Mischief and Stories.

Gotta have my Loki fix... I need my Loki fix...
Hey, I had this little idea in my head... So... I'll just leave this here. ^^;

Legacy: -
WW II Predecessor: -
Name: Voivode Vlad III Dracula of Wallachia
Alias: The Count, Count Dracula, Vlad the Impaler, Reich's Bane
Relationship to Predecessor: -
Age: Pushing nearly 600 by his estimate

Powers/Skills/Equipment: Superhuman strength - equal of at least 20 strong men. Superhuman agility - able to dodge most attacks from ordinary people and even some from relatively fast superhumans. Superhuman durability - a shotgun blast will down him, but it will be only a minor inconvenience damage wise.

Superhuman reflexes and senses. The ability to vanish in to mist, turn in to a wolf or a bat, to command animals and for short times hypnotize people to do his bidding.

Though he does favor hypnotism, his vampiric strength and durability over anything else he does carry a Walther PPK pistol on him at all times - in his own words 'sometimes you have to demean yourself to fighting your enemies with their own ways'.

Weaknesses: holy objects, cannot enter a building without being invited (public buildings are however fully enterable and in a pinch he can just throw himself through a window). Garlic doesn't impede him for long, but it does make him nauseous. A stake through the heart will paralyze him, but to really kill him you have to both decapitate him and then fill his mouth with garlic - though even then there is a slight chance someone might use black magic to resurrect him.

Appearance: Vlad seems most of the time a man of middle age with graying hair and equally graying, long mustache. He has a hooked nose, gaunt features, strangely pointed ears and in some way unfittingly red lips. He is thin, almost like someone suffering from severe malnourishment.

His trip to England in the 1800's has left him with a scar on his forehead from a shovel - a scar which he is either unable, or unwilling to remove as it serves as a reminder of some sort.

If he so chooses the Count can take on a more youthful appearance - his gray hair becomes black, some of the gauntness in his face disappears and he seems like a man who at least has eaten something in the past three days. The seeming frailty is gone and instead of a slight hunch he walks with his back fully straightened.

These days Dracula has taken to blending in with his surroundings at least a tad bit more than what he did back during the second World War. Though he still dresses in all black he now wears a very fine - Italian made - suit of finest fabrics and a pair of loafers fitting well a man of his seeming age.

Predecessor's History: -
BRIEF Bio:

Works of fiction would often depict the Count as a villain - after all there are very few things more horrible than vampires. After his botched trip to England in the late 1800's - and quite exquisitely making it seem like he was truly dead - he returned back to his castle, more interested in his own little affairs than those of weak humans. However Vlad has shown time and time again that he is fully willing to put his plans in to a complete halt when something truly horrendous comes along - something more horrendous than a vampire? Surely. During the second World War something came along that gave even the Impaler a pause. The nazis. It is rumored that even these days if you happen to get lost in the woods of Wallachia, or Transylvania you occasionally stumble upon frighteningly well preserved corpses - still wearing the uniform of the SS - impaled on iron poles. It is also rumored that many of the more occult inclined scientists of the 3rd Reich sought out Dracula - never to be seen again.

Several decades passed, no-one had forgotten the nazis however - especially not Vlad himself. He had a hunch things would at some point turn bad again and had the little feeling that indeed the nazis would return. Unfortunately the Count was right. Then again talking of unfortunate events... The Reich tried to come to Wallachia. What might be just another rumor was that Vlad actually faced the Master Man in combat - if it is true that must have been a sight to behold. Then again Master Man was far above the nazi threat of the last war and though it is not actually confirmed some reports have indicated that if there was a fight Vlad actually lost it and was either forced or allowed to leave Wallacia.

Roughly a month before the Reich attacked them Vlad arrived to the New World, to America - a place he hadn't visited since the 1970's. He hastily contacted heroes, villains and political figures alike. Though he was not going to take a leadership position against the Reich he was damn well going to make sure that these feeble fools knew exactly on who's side the Impaler stood and exactly what the Reich was going to be going up against. He would help these so called heroes drive back Master Man and his followers in exchange of help at taking back his homeland.

Additional Notes: Amazingly enough Vlad has a sense of humor - it is very dry and sarcastic, but it's there.
Huh, well that's a bummer.
I would like to reserve a spot as Loki, but before I do that I must ask if this takes place in the cinematic universe or the comics continuity? ...Wait, I just re-read the explanatory post again and got my answer. Now for another question. If I were to play as Loki could I use the newer God of Mischief and stories characterization instead of the old one of Evil and Mischief?
O.o I need to pooost.
Mostly waiting for people to respond to Loki.
Me too.
...It could work... Not be the best drink in the world, but it might work...
Ramius again nodded his head - still very politely, though silently he was wondering how people were NOT at least a bit surprised at seeing a bard of his skill and ability just wandering in like that. Then he remembered that the Tavern was situated between worlds - or was it technically on it's own plane of existence? Questions for later - so in other words there were most likely even stranger people than he was showing up on a daily basis. Still being a Magna Alumnae back home at least was a big thing - heck, he had been working and adventuring for YEARS to gain that particular accolade and all the prestige with it. The thiefling paid for his drink with a handful of gold coins - again an amount that perhaps was worth at least a handful of bottles, assuming ofcourse that gold was still an accepted currency and something hadn't mysteriously de-valuated it... Like alchemists, damn alchemists... Always trying to turn lead in to gold and ruining the economy... He coughed politely and took a rather ungentlemanly gulp from the pint of whiskey. "I'll do my best to enjoy it, li'll miss." He didn't really feel the burn of the alcohol - doing all the things that he's done over the years really makes you immune to that - at least the taste and other effects still worked just fine. After another little sip the bard glanced at the fellow with the notepad and came to a swift conclusion that the guy was some kind of a private eye, or detective or something of the like. The thiefling had to admit that sometimes seeing too many places just took excitement out of things... Especially after that little incident in Greyhawk...
