Current Just because you can have 36 attacks per turn that threaten a crit on a roll of 14+ doesn't mean it's worth doing.

Isn't it weird how you can start a private conversation with yourself?

Loki glanced at Tanya and shrugged his shoulders and winked. "Well it does have it's uses in some situations." He was obviously going to say something else when he heard Ace's little comment.

"Aren't you also adopted?

For just a moment all color disappeared from the green clad god's face, the smile also was gone from his face, but only for a very short moment. Then he smiled again and actually laughed dismissively while glancing at Ace's back. "Well, thou art not wrong about that." He turned his attention to Ed and flashed a little smile. "Oh, I'm quite alright, quite alright."
Loki smirked and scratched the side of his nose while again placing the crown on his head. "Yes, totes seriously. On a side note my magnificent repertoire of skills includes shape changing, illusions, teleportation, reacting to being shot like someone threw me with a milk dud... Oh and energy projection too! Also I can play through Super Mario Bro's with my eyes closed." He demonstrated his shape changing by briefly changing his coat to a green t-shirt with a funny face and the text 'wot? Loki!' and then back again. "So no, not a character. Though all of us are just characters in our own stories. You know, heroes and all that - though some are just comical side characters in the stories of others they are still very much the heroes of their own."
@Gentlemanvaultboy

Nope, no supervillainny here.

After all we are all heroes here. ^^

As I stated in one of my ooc posts there might not even be an Asgard in this universe, but I have not come to any kind of conclusion on that.
His story? Now there was a good question, a brilliant one even. Momentarily Loki actually seemed a bit puzzled by the question before smirking and spreading his arms while making a polite bow. "Thou doth wish to hear my story? Alas, thine request I cannot quite fulfill, but at least thy curiosity may be sated slightly." He straightened up and removed his crown, holding it with his left hand. "Thou art in the presence of the Prince of Asgard and of the Jotunn - thus sadly nay of quite the universe. Thou may thus rest thine eyes upon Loki Laufeyson! The God of Stories and Mischief." For a moment the fellow paused, shrugged his shoulders and added in a less dramatic manner "Or Lafeydottir when I feel like it - that's when you should add -ess to the prince and god parts. I'm flexible like that." He waved his right hand a bit. "So... In other words... Hi."
Suddenly many sudden introductory introductions happened. Though Loki listened everyone present he didn't quite yet feel the need to introduce himself. For now he concentrated on listening to the tidbits of stories, like tiny pebbles starting to roll down hills. He paused his ponderings at the mention of the name 'Quinzel' - what the heck was that about? Where had he heard it before? Was it a bad omen? Quinzel? ... as in Quinn... As in Harley Quinn..? The green clad God of Mischief and Stories blinked his eyes and again adjusted his crown while wondering what was that 'Ace' fellow's story, or the dragon girl... Tanya's? Those must have been interesting and/or strange and/or extremely emotionally scarring stories.

Well, since there wasn't really any need to remain undetected Loki took a step forwards while coughing politely to get everyone's attention.
Loki stared in front of himself and absentmindedly adjusted his crown - not a circlet, or a helmet, a crown. He was more or less disinterested in whatever may have been going around himself - though the whole Hero School thing seemed like a cool idea on paper thus far the whole thing didn't seem like much. Now, truth to be told he had actually been sleeping while leaning against a wall - that was one of the few rare physical little tricks he had learned, or maybe he had always known how to do something like that.

It had been another strange dream, nothing too strange - he was just trying to take over the world and fought against a lot of heroes, or at least some nasty version of himself was doing that. Loki didn't really like that version of himself, even though it had just been in a dream. With a little sigh the God of Mischief and Stories straightened up and headed towards a small group of people. He had a huge feeling of déjá vu, like he had seen a place like this before, been in a place like this before... Nah, that must have just been his imagination playing tricks on him.
Hmm... well I personally like the concept, so... How about we make a bit of a compromise?

Since Vlad obviously took quite magnificent a beating his powers have waned - in a 'survival over style manner'. He doesn't have the hypnotic powers any more - nor the shape shifting, apart from maybe a limited use of the mist trick. By limited I mean able to still pull it off, but not quickly and precisely enough to say... let a single bullet pass through a part of his body and then reforming in an instant, but still usable enough for say, stealth operations and such - getting past people without notice and all that.

Now I actually doubt Vlad would be quite aware of how much his powers have waned so... Trying to hypnotize someone and noticing it doesn't work might be a bit of a situation.
I need to find my readyness pants... Ha! Found them.
Or then RP!Loki's powers of illusion might be so shoddy because he is constantly - and unknowingly keeping up a MASSIVE illusion of Asgard and all of it's inhabitants as a sort of a coping mechanism since he has no memories of his own and has to piece things together from what little of Loki!Prime's memories there are.

Maybe RP!Loki's sort of personal story - or in Mass Effect terms Personal- or Loyalty Quest - could be about finding out what all the things he is seeing are about - and somehow contacting Loki!Prime to either merge with the original or at least to get some answers and maybe a bit less confusing start for his story... Not to mention a happy conclusion.

On a side note how creepy would it be if an alternative you was sending you passive aggressive text messages?
My brains! I began thinking about Loki's backstory a bit further and it gave me a horrible headache!

Since this Loki which I will now refer to as RP!Loki is the accidental creation of another Loki - henceforth referred to as Loki!Prime I am going to go with the assumption that RP!Loki is going to see nightmares about all the bad things Loki!Prime did before changing from God of Evil and Mischief to God of Stories and Mischief. Now ofcourse for RP!Loki the whole thing is just that - very strange and sometimes creepy dreams, but... Well...

RP!Loki has had a much nicer childhood than Loki!Prime and has pulled much tamer acts of mischief and all that than the L!P. The main reason RP!Loki has been sent away from RP!Asgard is to see if he can do other things than just mischief and tell good stories. RP!Loki also adores Thor - who is s very much like his actual comics counterpart, but is actually a bit more trusting towards his half brother.

Then again RP!Loki might not have a childhood or memories of one since there is a high chance that he just appeared one day out of nowhere, heck, there might not even be an Asgard connected to this universe.
