In a situation like this it would have been just much easier to stay put, quiet and smilimg very much innocently. However Loki hadn't really done anything wrong, yet. He glanced at the rock envelopibg his feet with noticeable annoyance. Now, he might have been able to just free himself by breaking the stuff, but... "With all due respect I for one have not done anything to break the rules." The green cladfellow bent over very cautiously and picked up his crown. "Is it very common here in Midgard to attack someone without proper provocation?" Absentmindedly the asgardian tapped his knuckles on the stone covering his legs before straightening up and smiling politely at the middle-aged man he assumed to be a teacher. "I'm sure we can talk this out, right? All of us should't be punished because the three gents decided to have a scuffle" He lifted the forefinger of his right hand. "Correction, biggie an' smalls here decided to drag our friend in to a scuffle." Well, at least Loki was nice enough to not throw Ace under the proverbial bus at least this early in the negotiations.

The moniker Oni of Green Flame just sounds so cool... How about... Is Toshiro taken as a name? I kinda like that tame too... Hmm... How about... hmmm... Green Lightning Oni...?

Toshiro, Oni of the Verdant Storm

Name: Toshiro Kubota, Oni of the Verdant Storm
Age: Unknown, seems to be somewhere between 30 and 50
Race: Human corpse that's kept from decaying by the spirit of an Oni
Gender: Male

Appearance:

Weapon(s): Toshiro carries a long hilted tanto with him - obviously it used to be a katana, the blade of which was broken.

Class: Mage

Bio: It is told that the clan Kubota were both skilled swordsmen and powerful mages to boot. Some stories however are not true. Admittedly in the past some of the swordsmen of the clan were quite adept at magic as well, but it was nothing in comparison to the stories told of them.

Toshiro had never believed the stories. He had been a swordsman of adequate skill, surviving many duels and fighting several battles. Then he fought an Oni. The battle was worthy of at least a small anecdote. Toshiro was at the time carrying the clan Kubota's ancestral blade - the so called 'Spiritflayer' - as his personal weapon due to being the oldest of the daimyo's sons. Unfortunately the magic of the Oni was stronger than what ever power Spiritflayer held. Or so it seemed. The unnervingly green lightning of the Oni ran through the blade and the man holding it, but not before the swordsman managed to score a killing blow.

It has been said that the Spiritflayer could drain your opponent's life force to your body and definitely drain some lifeforce it did. When Toshiro got back on his feet he was no longer himself. The burns around his body had healed themselves, but... No, there was only the Oni of the Verdant Storm. Still he needed a name. What little still remained of the swordsman's fading consciousness gave the Oni just about enough information. He would be Tatsuo Kubota. Though the Spiritflayer was now broken he still picked it up and placed it to the broken scabbard before walking away from the battlefield.

The Kubota clan was after some time slain to a man - though not by the hand of Toshiro, in truth he had only made a very brief visit to the clan's lands - not to kill anyone or anything like that. He had just left his charred and badly battle damaged armor there - of course he could have just discarded the armor to some forest, but maybe there were just few lingering vestiges of the consciousness of the original man still lingering.

For several years Toshiro has been more or less just wandering around the lands and been working all kinds of odd jobs for the highest bidder.

Special Ability:

Beauty of the Emerald Lighting and Wrath of the Verdant Storm

Toshiro's main offensive ability is what he calls Emerald Lightning - which as the name would suggest manifests as emerald green bolts of lightning from his fingertips, or if the weather conditions allow it he calls upon the powers of his namesake Verdant Storms down from the heavens to strike at his foes.

Misc: Though Toshiro's body needs neither food or even rest that much the Oni inhabiting the body must spend time in meditation to keep the body from rotting and with full mobility.

This seems quite interesting. If there is room I might consider making a mage of some kind since the group seems to be lacking one at the moment if I'm not completely mistaken.

Loki shook his head slightly and more or less chose to ignore the others for now. Instead he casually walked after Ace and soon found the kid in some kind of a fight - a fight that was about over by the time he reached it - a fact that kinda miffed him, after all Asgardians did like a good fight every once and a while. Still he had to admit that the 'Ace' fellow had good form, the punch had been good. "If thou dare to think about continuing the fight further I'm joining in." He smiled very politely and motioned at the fellows who were in the receiving end of the beatdown while casually placing his crown on the ground. "I doth think it dishonorable to fight against someone with greater numbers. Thus I dare thee, get on thine feet." Though the Asgardian did not sound in any way actually threatening he did crack his knuckles in a very calculated manner while glancing at the ruffian still standing - the one that had goaded the bigger fellow - as if inviting the fellow to do something stupid. "Doth thou feel lucky, punk? Please, do make mine day."
