Crap. We're back to square one since Vakarlon was once mortal and sympathizes with them....
Vestec will smash that relationship apart just on principal, regardless of whether he falls for Astarte this time around. He despises the idea of chaining someone down. It'd be like putting Zephy in a box, Vulamera in a mirror, or Vakarlon in a horseshoe. The slave Hain and the Urtelem were made that way, thus they never knew how being free really was.
Huh. Common ground between our characters. They both hate slavery. There might yet be hope for them getting along to some extent.

I can at least promise you that Zeph isn't planning something like the Black Dinner or a feast straight out of Game of Thrones (though with Vestec there all bets are off; anything could happen). Oh no. It's something much better than that.
Would that sort of trap even work against a Pantheon of deities?

If you want to encounter Zephyrion somehow then I'm more than happy to respond, but right now I have enough ongoing and planned plots to not need to seek out more.
For now I'm okay with Zephyrion having barely interacted with half the pantheon. At some point he'll try to make use of his palace by inviting more or less every deity over and then he'll meet them all.
That sounds like a rather interesting mother of all collabs.
They have GOT to change the way an empty friends list is displayed. Everytime I log on, I see big bold words bluntly proclaiming "You have no friends"
