Sleep was invented by the communists to reduce the time we spend active.

That awkward moment when you glimpse a dog stylist advertisement and before you realize what it is, you assume it's an ad to raise awareness about animal cruelty.

A friend introduced me to a site called nanowrimo.org Technically a novel-writing site but they seem to have useful stuff for writing in general in the forums.

Quite a few of them thought you went insane, since it was so difficult to get you on the same plane of in-character that we were on at first... That feel when you try to conquer the land, but the land conquers you.

Yeah, like I said: full immersion. If I had shown myself to not believe I was what I claimed to be then the experiment would have been ruined.

Nevermind, I should probably stop derailing the thread when it's very possible that you were just being impersonated by Hardox and Bardox the whole time... I'm not insane, this was all an actual thing that happened on the internet.

Re-rail pls no lock:

You know what I hate? That one Animal Crossing game. Actually, I hate all of them. Especially their attempt at Mario Party.

Oh yeah that place.... I sort of went full immersion with the character of Mardox on that site just to see what it would be like if an ancient Dark Lord was goofing off on the internet. Quite a few of them hated me.

I'd like to think that's been a prominent point in the portayal of my forum persona over on that magical beige-colored plane, but perhaps I didn't get to show that as often as I'd hoped.

Magical beige-colored plane?

It's much easier to sexualize dark corridors, but...

I've spent more time than I should've considering this. Actually, it's a subject I'm well-versed in. I think it really comes down to whether you would rather have sex with the sandwich or become highly aroused by the taste of the sandwich, but preferably not both... At least not with the same sandwich. I'm sure @Mardox has heard all about this kinda thing and has been trying to forget ever since... Unless someone's been impersonating him on other corners of the internet...

Anyway, back on the subject of complaining, one of the little cousins just stamped on a permanent marker, filled the house with ink-stink, and I have to mop it off the kitchen floor. Balls!

I have never before heard of sandwich sex. What site did you see me on?
Here's my addition to the conversation on Chinese buffets: if I think the food quality at least matches the price, I'm not upset.

If I pay seven bucks for a buffet meal for myself and I get a nice, big plate of food to chow down on and it's of middling quality... You know, that's probably fitting for a seven buck meal. If I were to have paid ten or twelve dollars, I'd be upset, and I'd expect the meal to be of higher quality. Etc. But I don't go to McDonald's expecting a 5 star restaurant, and I certainly don't expect a seven dollar buffet to taste like a meal Genghis Khan would stop conquering the world for.

Out of curiosity, what would make you expect such a high quality meal?
Granted, the plane reaches the airport and is blown up by terrorists.

I wish I had a theme song.
Granted. You overexert yourself regularly and end up worse than before.

I wish for the ability to stare into the souls of others and learn their deepest darkest secrets.

Yep! I only sent one ping, though, so no worries. I should start taking more initiative about this kind of stuff anyway.

GOOD

NOBODY LIKES THOSE NEO-SPIRITUALIST HOBOS LEECHING OFF THE REST OF SOCIETY

GET A FUCKING JOB, SCULPTORS

...I'm strongly considering doing exactly that by turning Sculptors into Galbar's resident nomadic trade race, collecting all the very strangest things from one region for their art and then swapping them for other rarities elsewhere. That fills another fun fantasy trope. A mysterious, near-mute creature that arrives on the outskirts of your village with a gourd full of spices, seeds and precious stones, a faery flickering behind their ears, trading their wares for oddities rather than money using exchange rates only they know.

I like the idea.

If... if Reathos didn't make his mark... then thay rams that death ISN'T apart of Creation. O_o Which means the gods that put forth power have a little more claim than those who didnt.

*glances at Reathos* Even Logos must concede to the fact that, despite his wishes or opinions, Change, Corruption and Jvanic Beauty are apart of the world they created. He despises them and wishes to erase them, but must acknowledge they exist.

Death... death ISN'T natural here

Now that is a very interesting detail. It is indeed plot-worthy.
<Snipped quote by Mardox>

Vulamera's hain research journal, entry 7,883,223,401: "Funny, it seems that in every culture of the hain all around Galbar, every single language has definite words with the definition of 'mind crush.' This is despite the hain having no outward natural propensity for psychic power. This will require further investigation."

And so it begins. Vulamera digs deeper, casually mentions it to Vakarlon and Vakarlon "casually" mentions it to Vestec.
<Snipped quote by Mardox>

No one has really been keeping an eye on him. I mean, as far as I can remember, even Niciel wasn't around the valley at the time that Toun completed the hain.

Now Vestec, I can understand him not caring much about the mind rape. If anything, it's the one activity that he and Toun have in common right now.

No, no one has been... Except the hain themselves. That sort of event probably lives on in legend.

Lol. So true.
