@Marik That is perfectly fine, I actually had some inspiration from DkS in terms of the dark fantasy setting a little bit as I'm a huge fan of DkS myself. Lovely series, I thought two doesn't hold up as well in the PvP side of things but with a few patches it might be good again. Anywho, go right ahead and post your CS whenever~

I love the PvP in 2, although I never did much of it in the first game, so I can't really compare.

Quiet and reserved, Veronika is the type of girl to think and observe rather than to jump into problems with wild abandon. Unfortunately her introverted nature leaves much to be desired in social outings, although she can speak to strangers is enough guts are mustered. That being said, she’s relatively cool headed around acquaintances, not fully taking on the moniker of a recluse. It should be noted that a silent nature does not signify rudeness. Veronika can be quite polite, understanding basic decorum as a tool much like a hammer or sword. She can be denoted as a “glass half full” person, cheery and full of optimism. Alas, Veronika’s been entangled in a bit of a relationship with depression ever since she became undead. She works very hard to hide these two facts, the first so as to not worry anyone. As for the latter, the girl’s very vain in her appearance, as well as scared for her safety in fear that she’d be confused for a monster.

Backstory
Veronika never knew the greatness of her homeland Forossa and thus held very little patriotism as her parents had. She did however enjoy the stories they told to her before bed of the late great kingdom, often dreaming of a more civilized time when her people didn’t have to attack travelers just to put food on the table. It’s not that the young lady would just forsake the arts of war their great Lion Knights possessed, but rather she’d want their skills used to help instead of hinder. But she was just a little girl, and so she kept quiet and trained to kill with the rest of the camps children. Veronika would often write in her free time to blow off steam and found an imaginative mind in a soldier’s body.

Eventually the day would come when she and others would have to bring home bloody spoils to support their families, and soon after their departure did Veronika truly fear for her life as she ran from fellow highwaymen, the corpses of her brothers and peasants in wake. On that day they had fought valiantly, but should have been more prepared for the arrival of more hungry brigands seeking the same prize. She never did manage to find her way back to camp, only coming across an unknown city on last leg.

This all must have been a sign, a chance to change what had once been a bleak future. Veronika decided that she’d become a writer. After months of hard work a fiction novel was published, with another in the works. Sadly the money was slow to come, and Veronika lived a poor life like she had back home. She had to sell off possessions to pay the rent, but refused to pawn her Chain-Sickle. It not only was one of the few things the girl had from her home, but it also served as a reminder not to abuse the power it held.

Keeping this weapon would prove to be beneficial. It would have to be used for defense when the very thing Veronika escaped came to destroy everything she built. Bandits attacked the city, killed, and fell to overwhelming forces. In the aftermath, the young writer would be approached by the leader of a mercenary group who noticed her fighting prowess, looking to bolster his ranks after losing one too many men in the fight. Veronika was desperate for money and they worked on good ethical terms, so she reluctantly joined. Service with these brave men and women would go on until her eventual decent into undeath, wherein she once again found herself alone, and waking up in a strange land with even stranger individuals…

Equipment
-Leather Clothing:

Coat and wear of an aimless traveler. Made from sturdy leather and quilting. Battle comes with the territory when one wanders the land, and this coat provides a certain degree of protection.

-Chain-Sickle:

A Kusarigama, or “Chain-Sickle”, which consists of a metal chain with a small sickle on one end and an iron weight on the other. Attacking with the weapon usually entails swinging the weighted chain in a large circle over one's head, and then whipping it forward to entangle an opponent's spear, sword, or other weapon, or immobilizing their arms or legs. This allows one to easily rush forward and strike with the sickle. A weapon with options indeed.

-Journal:
This journal is actually multiple books that Veronika has written in throughout her life, documenting her history and inner thoughts.

Physical Traits
Veronika has her brain to lead, and her lean body to act. More of a follower than a leader.

Super Abilities
-The Curse of the Undead: As an Undead, death is unknown to you. Instead, you simply hollow, losing your humanity, memories, and your very being each time. When nothing is left, a shambling corpse will remain.

Weakness and Fears
Veronica can’t stand the sight of Arachnids and insects.
