Jarvis watched Nicodemus as he spoke, the boy seemed to have a lot of confidence, which wasn’t a bad thing, especially with this guild. Jarvis gave a smile, and shook his head, ”I was joking, kid” he said, amusement barely noticeable in his voice. ”And that would be me, or my wife that you need to speak to. I just have a few questions. What colour, and where do you want the mark?” He asked, glancing about as the other guild masters began to arrive at the guild, and around at the guild members, before looking back to Nicodemus, ”We have rooms available, and we only charge ten percent of your monthly income for rent. Jobs are available, but you must always get my approval, or Master Jamie’s” He nodded to Jamie, ”Aside from that, there really isn’t much else to know”

Master Jamie

As Sanders entered the guild, approaching them, Jamie greeted him, ”Welcome. I imagine you both, and your companions, have had a long journey. Let’s get some drinks, and retreat to my office. There’s plenty of room there now” She said, trusting Jarvis to send Jack in when the Dragon Fang Master arrived. She had no doubt that he would, Jack had never failed them before. ”We do have a bit to discuss, and the guild hall can get rather loud.”

Penny

Penny nodded, "There is always a choice" She said softly, "I just thought you needed to know" She said, quite as Ariel made to comfort her, She nodded, knowing the words to be true, but they didn't absolve Penny's guilt. She returned Ariel's hug, then letting Ariel go to Fleo. She sighed to herself, and stood, not quite sure what to do from there. The uncertainty that had plagued her for months seemed intent on making every aspect of her life difficult, and she didn’t like it.

But she didn’t see a way of changing it.

"Maybe" She said softly to Mayt. "Or maybe it's a way of keeping magic pure. I don't know.... but I don't think it's what we think it is" His words weren't a comfort to her, and she looked away. "I did kill a Phoenix" She said, admitting it for the first time since it had happened. Ariel had been the only one to know... and now... "My father" She added in a near whisper. She looked over as Jasmine hid behind her, and shifted to give the girl her attention, "Are you alright?" She asked her.

There wasn’t much that feared Evelina. Nothing really, in fact. Oh, maybe death. But Death was just the next big adventure, wasn’t it? So she smiled at Alexis, letting her talk. It amused her greatly that Alexis thought she was a kid, and she found herself oddly flattered that she could still pass for a teenager. She gave a chuckle, “I am by no means a child” She assured her, remembering her own “old days’ with some fondness, but also with a bit of trepidation.

"If everyone only took chances when they knew they’d survive, then nothing would ever progress in the world. Look at… oh, what’s his face? That traveled to the ‘end of the world’ to prove it wasn’t flat, but round! Look at the first people to fly a plane! Sometimes taking chances is a good thing” Eve said, not without some enthusiasm. And at Alexis’s next words, Eve burst out laughing, unable to control herself for a few moments. Alexis really thought she was just a kid.

"While i have no doubt you’d get 20 years plus for sleeping with a minor, i can assure you, I am not one” She said, amusement still in her voice. She smiled, more than prepared to show Alexis her ID. She shifted, watching Alexis when she grinned, and began to show her what she could do. As Alexis’s skin began to change, from red to black, to green, then to normal, then began to change her appearance, seemingly at will. Evelina was rather impressed, and she studied her, watched her, amusement dancing over her face.

Eve took the offered cigar, and slipped it into a pocket, she was rather amused that Alexis thought she was a child, but was offering her a cigar. “Thanks, I’ll save it for… later” she said in a rather conspirative tone, a half smile on her face. “I don’t really have anything impressive like that. Just a rather loud cry. Oh, and the skills of my body” she chuckled, “Asides from… the more fun aspects, of course. I’m extremely flexible… oh look, there’s some of the fun anyway!” She said, a laugh escaping her. “I’m good with my hands… heh… skilled in parkour, gymnastics, hand to hand.. Well, mostly. Little bit rusty” She admitted, before giving a shrug, watching Alexis, finding her to be rather interesting, and not just in the attractive way.
