well all the scientists will have something to do shortly since Shasoon was able to get the venom and Rae will be too busy trying to keep his heart from stopping to play with a new and stronger antidote.
If/when Rae is going to be looking at Shaso͞on's insides, PM me and I'll tell you what Ju'yavāl biology is like.
Kinda short, kinda shitty, but it's something. I wholly encourage you to tear it apart. I'll do my best to improve it when I'm not in between making three games with immediate deadlines.
Vandal | Maxwell Adams 20 years old| Offense
Equipment:
Chopper - Vandal's trusty ax, Chopper, has seen him through plenty of bad times and even more good times. It's just an ax, but with enough persistence an ax is usually more than enough. Built in Radio - Vandal jury-rigged a stereo onto his chest and, when it's playing, it gets him moving faster and hitting a lot harder. Few things excite him more than a bit of ultaviolence scored by whatever artist he's most recently discovered. Scan-o-vision - His bulky head does more than show a dead eyed stare. It also scans his surroundings and maps it out into his internal databases, doing so on a continual basis in search of any potential anomalies. This has become indispensable in spotting traps, ambushes, or cloaked enemies. Hydraulic Kickers - Vandal's hydraulic legs are capable of both launching devastating kicks and also launching him well higher than a normal jump could ever carry him. Grappling Grip - His hands are capable of being launched from his body, remaining attacked by a wire which then reels either the object that he grabbed toward him or himself toward what he grabbed.
Brief History with Overwatch:
Originally created for urban peacekeeping purposes, Vandal was once known as Maxwell Adams: The friendly Aussie Officer. The name was meant to be reassuring, but even the cheery cat face that was displayed over his monitor for a face was only viewed as unnerving by humans after the Omnic Crisis. After the Australian peace accords, omnics were given some freedom and Maxwell went on to join up with other omnics. On his way to the Australian Omnium to get away from the humans that had only begun to grow hostile toward him. On his journey he was confronted by a group of Australian Liberation Front members. He was attacked by them and, in what was initially an accident, used one of their own axes against them, killing the ALF member. It was then that he realized he rather liked solving his problems with force. With his new life, he abandoned his name for one that more suited his new purpose; Vandal.
Shaso͞on was nearly knocked to the floor when a sudden crashing of metal and the blaring of an alarm went off, the cockpit of the Sekváli ship flooding in warm red light. He twisted and looked out of the windscreen of the ship, seeing the dead ship he had left pressed against the ship he was in now. The two ships had collided and there were hairline fractures lining the windscreen. Shaso͞on moved quickly, hearing the sound of distant activity, likely the other Sekváls that Elyse Emiel had detected. He had fought plenty of enemies in his life and he could fight plenty more, if it weren't for the toxins that were already begining to take their effects. His afflicted leg was growing stiffer by the moment, the muscles feeling as if they had been flayed and were now being pulled as tightly as they could be until they were bound to split apart at the seams. The sensation had already begun to crawl up to his knee and it would only be moments before he was no longer able to stand on his own.
Shaso͞on ignited his blade and dropped down to a knee, planting the blade at the base of the Sekvál's snout. He cleaved it off and spent a moment ripping the fangs from the flesh before tucking them into his a nook on his armour. Luirae Driani would have a better chance at developing something effective if she had the actual venom to work with instead of her plants. Standing was more difficult than he had anticipated. He could barely get his knee to move without a searing hot pain blossoming within it. He staggered over to the console within the cockpit and began to pour through the information, looking for relevant information. The door into the pilot's deck opened up, revealing a pair of Sekváls who shrieked in something between rage and shock at the sight of Shaso͞on, only to drop moments later after their air around them erupted in a burst of concentrated psionic energy. Shaso͞on lost interest in them as brown liquid began to drain from their noses, mouth, and eyes.
"Navigator Adalaide de la Roche, Officer Tymea L’cint, prepare yourselves for a neural link," Shaso͞on said, his voice slower than it had been moments ago. His eyes returned to the console and as he began going through the information on the Sekváli starcharts, he began to broadcast his vision into Adalaide de la Roche's mind. He moved quickly through the information, sharing information on the locations of the Sekváli fleet, communications channels, points in which the Sekváls were going to begin warping in an attempt to intercept the Monroe, and the information the Sekváli had on the Monroe. The language of the information provided to Adalaide appeared to be in French when it reached her head, one of the specialties among the Ju'yavāl had always been the ability to deconstruct and reconstruct languages by borrowing information from other species' brains. It wasn't always a perfect translation, but it was certainly better than the alternative.
The link between Adalaide and Shaso͞on was then terminated, punctuated by a sudden lightness that was felt in the minds of those Shaso͞on infiltrated and then abandoned. Moments later the feeling of a sudden crowding in Tymea L'cint's head indicated that he was now planning on pumping information into her head. His broadcast to her was much shorter, only sending her a brief series of co-ordinates indicitive of the four places there were tracers in the hull of the Monroe that the Sekváli were using the track the ship. He was out of her head moments later, and left on his own within the Sekváli ship once more. He twisted away from the terminal and planted both of his hands onto the paneled windscreen of the cockpit before letting out a burst of energy that tore open the ship, spilling himself and a handful of Sekváli corpses out into the void of space.
He floated in the blackness for a short time, the horrible freeze of space reminding him to activate his shield which washed over him momentarily in a faint blue sheen. He let out a small burst of energy from his urellian cuffs that propelled him on a course to the Monroe, though he floated slowly and as he tried to put out more energy, he was quickly finding that he couldn't reach into the Shakseer. There was a cloud in his mind and with it there was a great pain in his muscles. He could feel his hearts straining to keep beating and his vision was already begining to fade. "Luirae Driani," he reached out hoping to touch the mind of the ships doctor, his voice likely lacking its usually precision and meeting more minds than hers alone. As he floated toward the ship, he reached to where he had stored the extracted fangs and removed them, clutching them tightly in his four fingered hand. "In my hands are extracted Sekváli teeth with some of their venom glands still attached. Use it to refine your anti-venom. I am deactivating my shields so you may scan my organs. I will not be conscious when you find me. I will be suffering from hypothermia." His voice faded with the final words he spoke and moments later he was drifting through space, void of most signs of life.
